Newman Hotel

Nothing wrong with the place. Had a newly done room in c block. Palms breakfast is good, bar en restaurant have good food and drinks. What more do you want

We dined here one evening whilst staying in Newman. The food was very good - I had an eye fillet which was cooked just right (medium rare) and wife had the crispy skin schnapps: we both enjoyed our meals. It is a bit pricey biut all of Newman is. Ginger beer on tap was also a positive.

It was basic.There was a bed, a TV, and a shower and that's about all it had going for it. Red dirt thickly lined the walls with very basic facitlites at anything other than budget prices . Definitely mostly used as miners accommodation and while it did served it's purpose the cost it was eye watering and not one that I plan to repeat.

Dirty room had to transfer. Poorly maintained. Door handle kept coming off when trying to close the door of a morning. The king special I will let the photo describe. Be careful when you look at the website looks much better than it is. No chair or bin even inside the room. By the end of the week even the hallways were full of litter. Manager was apologetic for the first room and was going to ensure it didn't happen to anyone else. came back in the afternoon and asked if she had looked at the dust and black mould in the first room that afternoon. NO had been noted to housekeeping (problem solved😵‍💫)

I just want to comment on the food. This is such a good feed after a long working day. Steak was cooked exactly Medium which I asked for. Brownie was awesome! The rest of the waitress were so nice and passionate to work. Only the waitress who took my order wasn’t in a good mood and ordered a wrong sauce for my steak.

It's old n warn out. No wet mess . Full of bugs

Just ordered the Garden Veg burger and for the 2nd time now it did not come with the Tomato Kasoundi sauce which left it to be bland and boring. I only order this burger because that sauce is amazing and once again they forget to put the best part of the burger in!||Tried to call no answer and I don’t see the point of driving down there for a second time.|Waste of $28

Rooms a small shower is good food not bad but very poor parking area contractors bock any and every one in, possibly only for a short time still could be controlled better.
