Newman Hotel

Fabulous service from Honey & Frazer in wonderful dining room of the Newman Hotel. The refurbishment looks amazing and staff are excellent… been 4 times since renovations and never disappoints.

Sadly the room i got was very tiny, but it was also not well maintained. We had a couple of cold nights and I grabbed the spare blanket from the cupboard and as I spread it out, there was a lot of dried (human fluids) not sure whether someone used it as the world's biggest tissue, or it was a dropsheet from a Diddy party. Staff replaced it and also did a room clean, so that was a positive. I do have to give them a shout out for the food though, steaks were on point and the brekkie was basic, but cooked well. Actually the staff were all good to deal with.

Bedbugs!! Stayed here in June 2025 and came home with bed bugs. Still trying to eradicate them. Do not recommend staying here. NOT HAPPY!!

Caught up with my mate to have a chat as haven’t seen him in abit and he was in town for a night , yes i was in hi vis and they kicked me out couldn’t give me a minute understand it was there policy but still bumhouse

Rooms are dirty not cleaned well, molds in bathroom, dust , and got odour smell. The kitchen service is excellent and staff and very friendly

Stayed here for 5 days and sure I came home with some unwanted bugs. We are in the process of trying to eradicate them atm. Not happy!

Just shared some chips and wedges and had a few beers. Great food!

Nothing wrong with the place. Had a newly done room in c block. Palms breakfast is good, bar en restaurant have good food and drinks. What more do you want
