This would be an amazing place in the winter but the AC in our room for summertime was not cutting it. We had to change rooms due to the heat. The second room was better but still the AC under performed. There are no air vents in the bathroom which makes getting ready overly hot with no air flow. If you are typically hot and like your spaces cooler, I can not in good faith recommend this hotel. The hot-tub on the balcony was nice and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Parking is super easy and there are several food and coffee places close by.

My little family absolutely loved staying here. My kids were so excited there was a private hot tub on the deck. Melinda at the front desk was so kind and accommodating. I was so impressed with the cleanliness, kind staff, and amazing location. My kids are already asking to star there again.

We have been coming to Newpark Resort for 12 years, since our youngest was a baby. We've stayed with family, friends, and extended family. It's always clean and comfortable. The front desk staff are friendly, the amenities are second to none (they even have a Peloton bike in the gym now--so easy to connect my account and get in my rides!), and the location can't be beat. It's within walking distance to dining and shopping and a 5-minute drive to Utah Olympic Park. It's quiet but there's always something fun happening, too. We highly recommend this resort!

My husband and I stayed here last week for our anniversary. Firstly, I appreciate the kitchen in the rooms. My husband has a lot of food allergies that make it virtually impossible to eat out while traveling, so this was a huge plus for us. Not only that, but there's a full sized fridge, a convection oven/microwave, a dishwasher, pots and pans, utensils, plates, bowls, cups, etc. My second favorite part was the hot tub on the balcony. It was very clean and well-maintained. I also enjoyed the huge bath tub. It's very close to lots of shopping centers and all around we had a very relaxing 2 nights. The only issue we ran into is that mattress was uncomfortable. My husband had trouble sleeping because of it and my back and neck hurt for a couple of days after. Even with that issue, we're already making plans to stay here for our next anniversary and I've told multiple friends that they should look into it too.

We would for sure stay here again. It's close to a bunch of restaurants & shops & was clean & the staff was very friendly. But there were a few things we didn't love. Window in the bathroom? Weird & unnecessary. One of the patio chairs tore on our first night. We told the front desk twice but they never did get us a replacement. It was super loud too. We were on the second floor so we were close to the sky bridge. Little did we know that was for parties & gatherings.

Side note: the housekeeping is wonderful! We left really quickly to go get some coffee and left everything out. We did not anticipate them coming in while we were gone. Medications were out, the safe was open, yes we are dumb and got sidetracked by morning coffee! But when we got back nothing was touched! But the room was clean. Honest people! I was pleasantly surprised at this resort. Normally we stay at the Stein Erickson Lodge, but it has become ridiculously expensive. So we tried this out and we did have high expectations and they were met! The hotel is beautiful, the lobby is just gorgeous. The rooms were luxurious and beautiful as well, my favorite was the hot tub on the deck. We were within walking distance of many restaurants, bortolli's right across the street is delicious! The Estes Park outlet shops were just across the main road only a couple minutes away. The front desk was very kind and always welcome best with a smile every time we came through the door. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a little bit of luxury without spending an astronomical amount of money. I thought it was well worth 500 bucks for two nights.

Google
So glad we stayed here for 6 nights while my son was attending a Woodward camp session. Rooms were nice, we had our own hot tub. Kitchen had everything we needed. Location is a short walk from everything you could need. Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping our room clean and stocked.

The front desk and support staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They assisted in every possible way to contribute to a successful conference. Our company has been coming here for years and we are always treated to excellent service.

Yelp
Passing through and we were happy to find a clean and modern hotel for the night. Standard room start at $140 and after taxes runs around $170. For that you get a view of the interior building walls, but a super comfy bed, kitchenette and bar fridge. This room had an adjoining door to another room and we could hear a baby crying. There's a small desk next to the fire place which didn't work. Bottled water for $5 or $3 each based on size. Free Keurig coffee. Nice to have dishes, cleaning supplies and paper towels. No microwave. Bathroom provisions: luxurious bath robes, thick towels, cotton balls, Q-tips, body lotion, hand soap, shampoo, conditioning, body wash. Verbena fragrance so bring your own if you are bothered by smells. I loved it though. There's a closet in the bathroom containing a small safe. Nice deep bath tub. Great for soaking and the hot water faucets produced hot water immediately. Appreciated the magnifying mirror. I saw there are heated bathroom floors but I suspect these are only available at the resort units with the personal hot tubs. Lobby entrance has 3 steps so be prepared to lift up your luggage. There's a cute candy store at the entrance with self checkout. All in all, a very comfortable place with many interesting stores around you. Unfortunately many are closed on Sundays.

Yelp
Hotel was awesome! Front desk was friendly, Hotel was clean, bathrooms had nice shampoo, conditioner and soap Bed was so comfortable and fireplace topped it off. Loved our stay. We will make a point to return.

Yelp
The Family and I stayed at the Newpark Resort Hotel on what was day one of our Grand Tetons/Yellowstone adventure. Three weary travelers arrived shortly after noon hoping to check in early. Thankfully, we were able to. As room prices go in Park City, the Newpark Resort Hotel is a bargain. I'm guessing that's not the case during ski season, but since I'm a cheap Scot, I'll take a bargain whenever I can. We were adding room 319A. A surprisingly spacious, well appointed room. It had a very comfortable queen sized bed and a sofa bed. FYI-If you're vertically challenged, the bed might be a difficult to get into. There is also a gas fireplace, a small wet bar, and a HUGE bathroom with an even HUGER tub. You could easily fit six people in it. Again, if you're vertically challenged, the tub may be difficult to get into and out if. The wet bar is fully stocked with a fridge, small sink, silverware, coffee maker, plates, etc., but oddly....no microwave. Which really didn't make much sense to me. The Newpark Resort Hotel is located in an area that is full of activity. There are several restaurants and shops literally right outside the front door. There is also a Smith's grocery store within walking distance.

David B.

Yelp
Checked in at Newpark Hotel and Haley at the front desk couldn't find our reservation. She even suggested I might've booked a place in Ireland or the wrong date. Showed her my confirmation email, and only then did she find it. She checked us in and gave us two cards and a parking pass. Thought we were good, but later that evening, two sheriffs knocked on our door about a card issue. Sorted it out quick, but there was zero heads up from the hotel. Haley had called the cops without even attempting to resolve it with us first. Completely unprofessional. Avoid at all costs!

Anna H.

Yelp
Loved the townhouse. Enough space for 4. Great kitchen and nice private hot tub. Staff was kind. Lovely views and nature preserve.

Tim S.

Yelp
Private balcony and hot tub, large bath, open floor plan, good view, and proximity to restaurants made this a great stay!

Shay D.

Yelp
Five star experience for our 2-day getaway. Hot tub on the balcony was what we sought out and it truly delivered on all our expectations. The water was already pumping hot when we arrived, ready for us to jump in. It has adjustable temperature as well but ours was set to 105 and it was excellent with the nippy early November air. The bed was comfortable and the pillow was dreamy. I wanted to steal one and take it home (always tempted, never do). We had everything we needed and I'm already planning our next trip the

Priya K.

Yelp
Very impressed with Newpark resort, was our first time staying here. We booked one bedroom luxury suite which was very reasonably priced and included a full kitchen with plates, utensils and appliances like toaster and blender. Full size fridge, microwave and a small dishwasher. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast! The deck had gorgeous view of the mountains and came with a hot tub! So cool! The suite also had washer dryer and very spacious bathroom. Bedroom was separate and living room had pull out for our kids. Bathroom is huge and the products are amazing. Staff is very friendly and whenever we needed something, they brought us right away esp keurig coffee refills. The resort is walking distance to fantastic restaurants. Kroger is just a short walk to get the basics for your kitchen. The local transport bus stop is right at the entrance of resort. Overall a great stay and can't wait to return.

Ana B.

Yelp
I went in with low expectations just because lately it's been that way with previous hotels. This place was cozy and welcoming place very clean. It's small but has everything you need. I really enjoyed my time here and hope I can go again this winter. I recommend 100%

Jacqueline S.

Yelp
On a whim we decided to spend the night in Park City and found this hotel by accident as all our regular spots were booked. I was pleased to see that we got more than our money's worth. The room was very clean. The bed super comfortable. Seemed to be sound proof from the other rooms. So many amenities... kitchen, hot tub, spa tub, huge walk in shower, and a fireplace. We only interacted with staff at check in and they were friendly. No issues at all there. The downside was we were right above the pizza place so we smelled pizza cooking all night but lets be real... is that really a negative (check out my review for Maxwells)! Definitely would stay here again and highly recommend it to my friends!

Kory D.

Yelp
We went with a luxury room for the private hot tub on the balcony. Sitting in the cool fall weather, at night, enjoying the view of the mountains in park city, is near perfection. Great spot for a quick getaway in the off-season. During summer and winter seasons, the prices jump to be fairly high.

Haylee A.

Yelp
Heated bathroom floors, private hot tub on the balcony, full kitchen- this place is fantastic.

Emily H.

Yelp
We truly enjoyed our stay at Newpark! Super easy access to Park City Mountain, the free city bus stops right outside the hotel! 30 mins later you're at the mountain! Some other highlights: friendly staff, heated floors in the bathroom, fireplace and kitchenette in our room. What would we change? Our room was in a part of the hotel that needs to be accessed via Skybridge, which is only on the second floor. Not a huge deal, but both days we stayed here the hotel had a private event in the SkyBridge area that required guests to go down to the first floor and walk outside to reach the lobby area. Again, not a huge inconvenience but when it's 10 degrees outside it's not ideal. Overall though, we had a great stay and would definitely come back for another ski trip!

Kathee C.

Yelp
We were very impressed with this hotel! Extremely friendly employees making us feel welcome the moment we walked in, elegant atmosphere, plenty of parking, lots of food options nearby, free cruisers for riding around, the list goes on! Some may say the rooms are small but I call it cozy! We didn't need a big room so it fit our needs perfectly. Very comfortable bed with a fireplace right in front of it is awesomeness in itself right there!! We will definitely come here again for another staycation!!

Scott C.

Yelp
Excellent staff and friendly! When my reservation by on line was goofed up and I got the wrong size room - well BEA FIXED IT - and now, WE LOVE OUR ROOM !! I even put it on Facebook for all my doctor and dentist friends so they can come to this resort at Newpark hotel and resort and enjoy all the wonderful amenities that are in walking distance, the beautiful view, the hot tub on the balcony, the three sided glass fireplace in the middle of the room, the soft beds, and the extreme cleanliness of the hotel!

Ana M.

Yelp
"I feel like an angel baby swaddled in a cocoon of cloud candy."--Nigel St. Nigel, aka Tim Curry, in Psych. As I laid in the smoothest, softer, and fluffiest bed I have ever slept on, I could only think of this quote. Getting out of bed in the morning was almost impossible. It was our 25th anniversary and we stayed in the Luxury Suite, and it was fantastic. It was perfectly clean, and had everything someone would need to spend a great vacation in Park City. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and service can be excellent. We did not experience that excellent service but I observed it. You see the young man that checked us in was not a very friendly person or volunteered much information. He was not rude, just not friendly or informative; but I observed the other man checking in another guest and he was friendly and provided the guest with information about all of the amenities the hotel offers. I would definitely come back and stay in the Luxury Suite.

Gregg D.

Yelp
Emily greeted us the moment the door opened to the beautiful lobby ... she was so happy to see us I thought maybe she was a long lost friend! The check in was quick and Emily was fantastic telling us about the hotel and surrounding area...absolutely a ten in customer service!! The room (luxury suite) is exactly what it says...luxury...from the amazing bed to the private hot tub on our balcony overlooking the Olympic park...just amazing!!! If you haven't been here...do yourself a favor and come up soon...you'll be very happy !

Sally W.

Yelp
We have stayed here in the past and really liked it. The staff was great and the room was clean. We came for a little relaxing night away from our stressful lives for our anniversary. Honestly, aside from eating good food, I just wanted to relax in the private hot tub. There was hardly enough water in it and when the jets turned on, black nastiness came shooting out. I got out right away and called the front desk. They were very apologetic and made arrangements to send someone to fix the problem. When we got back from dinner the guy was there fixing the hot tub, he was also very apologetic and very nice. Unfortunately, when we went to get in the next morning there was still black stuff floating around in the water and the water level was even lower than before. It was really quite disappointing since that was out main reason for coming to Newpark Resort. The front desk was again very apologetic and she even gave us a $50 refund. Still, I'm very hesitant to book a stay here again.

Aimee S.

Yelp
This resort has AMAZING service, every time I called for something they responded right away. They have a Breeze Ski rental in the lobby and they have a TON of excellent restaurants in the same shopping center. The room was large and comfortable and very clean. COVID protocols were followed. All reception employees were very helpful and full of knowledge. Very good location, close to everything. Highly recommend!

Jessica B.

Yelp
Hidden gem in Park City! Stayed in the 1 bedroom suite which was like a home away from home. Kitchen was well-equipped with large fridge, dishwasher, utensils, plates, electric stove top, pots and pans. They even provided a toaster and smoothie machine! They have a microwave oven as well. The living room was large with a sofa bed, fire place and dining table. There's a pretty private tub outside which stayed at a nice and toasty 104 despite the below freezing temps. The bathroom had another large tub in it along with wall on shower which had ample amounts of warm water. Best of all is the service they provide here! From the moment we arrived, the staff were all very warm and welcoming. Parking here is also free including several covered and uncovered ones. They have EV charging stations too. This is definitely our go to stay next time we're back

Miquel N.

Yelp
The staff was extremely rude upon checking in. The hotel was not relaxing in any shape or form. The "private" balcony over looked a noisy food court where all you could smell was pizza and hear people's loud conversations. The view was the food court or the highway. It felt like we were constantly being watched and monitored because of the covid rules their county has in place. The suite was old, the fixtures in the bathroom were all but rusted off of the wall. The furniture was dated and beat down and so uncomfortable. The bedroom had no air circulation at all and was extremely hot. We asked for a fan the second night, instead of knocking and letting us know they brought it up, they just sat it by the door. Horrible horrible customer service. I would never recommend this hotel, not ever. It was the worst $800 I've ever spent for a 2 night stay.

Madi M.

Yelp
I stop here every time i'm driving through Park City. It is gorgeous, clean, and the staff are always pleasant and extremely helpful! The rooms feel like a small cabin and the layout of the hallways makes the rooms super private. Our room had a spa tub, fireplace, full fridge with filtered water, living room, and a hot tub on the deck. It was all clean and the hot tub was hot hot hot and so nice after a long day of driving. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Synthiah L.

Yelp
This is an amazing upscale resort in Park City, Utah. We went on a road trip and Utah was one of our states to see. The hotel was able to provide us a beautiful room that had not been occupied for 48 hours to prevent COVID-19. It was off season so not a lot of people. Everyone wearing face masks which was nice. The front desk were all super friendly and helpful. The hotel is very luxurious and sanitized. Hand sanitizer available in the lobby. The bed was very clean and comfortable to get a good night's rest. The bathroom was super cute with a huge tub! Perfect for two people and still plenty of space. Very deep which is nice. We also had a relaxing fireplace. A mini bar with a beautiful fridge that was great, it kept our waters freezing cold, perfect for the heat. I would highly recommend this hotel! Keep up the great work & please include hand sanitizers in the elevator.

Alicia T.

Yelp
Wow, this resort is great! Super clean, lots of food and things to do in and around the hotel. The staff is super professional, sweet, and very helpful! The housekeeping staff is top notch and go above and beyond expectations. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Utah.

Andrew S.

Yelp
I think I've found a new favorite hotel in Park City! We wanted a quick break for a couple of nights to escape the inversions in Salt Lake County but didn't want to drive too far, so we decided on Park City. We also wanted a hot-tub on a deck so we could sit out in the Winter weather and relax, so we elected to get a deluxe room. Compared to some other hotels we like too in Park City with similar features, this was half the price and the room was so big and roomy. So much closet space, full kitchen with great amenities, including full sized fridge and a combination microwave/convection oven and a separate bedroom with King bed. It had everything we needed. In addition, the location is awesome. There are so many businesses and great restaurants and things to do around here. That was handy because it snowed hard while we were there (just made the hot-tub more fun and really what we came for!) and we elected to walk around instead of driving. It's great that there is a Smith's right over the road too for when you need supplies. The views of the mountains and ski-resorts from the room were also pretty neat, albeit a little obstructed with all the other buildings around the hotel. If I had any complaint it would be the beds - just a little too hard for our tastes and the pillows could have been bigger. But we know now just to bring some of our own pillows next time, certainly not a huge deal. Customer service at reception was super friendly at check-in and check-out and there is covered parking too which is handy in snow season, though it was a little too tight for my big truck, but for most vehicles it would be a non-issue and honestly it's better than most hotels in the area. So, like I said - new favorite - and we'll be back for sure - was a great stay :)

Debbie S.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel and great location with many shops and restaurants in walking distance. Our room was huge! Lots of storage. The room was booked for us for a conference we were attending, so we didn't realize we'd be getting a suite with a living area and kitchen with a full size fridge. We also had a stacked washer and dryer in one of the hallway closets. We didn't know we'd have our own private patio with a hot tub, either (didn't get to take advantage of it because we didn't bring suits). The bathroom was beautiful with two sinks and high counters (two robes were provided, as well). The view was beautiful, and if not for the rain this week, the hot tub and patio would be perfect for enjoying the sunset. There was a locked door that I assume would provide access to the room next door, so this would make great accommodations for other family members or friends, especially for a longer stay. Our meals were provided by the hotel for our conference. The food was delicious and the service staff was wonderful! The reason for the four stars is the bed and the toilet. I'm disabled. The rooms and bathroom were accessible (big tub and separate large shower), but the bed was too high for me to get in without using a chair and help from my husband (which made late night bathroom visits difficult). The toilet was really low, so I had to have assistance with that, as well, unfortunately. I don't always need ADA rooms (because most hotel rooms now have tall toilets), but I would definitely ask for one if we stay here again. My husband's minor complaint was the size of the TV in the living area. It seemed really small for a room that size. There's a TV in the bedroom, too, but the TV isn't too far from the bed. If it weren't for those few things, this would definitely deserve 5+ stars.

Mark C.

Yelp
Perfectly situated between my resort appointments in park city & the country clubs in salt lake. It's kind of in a shopping center area directly downstairs from you are two food places a craft beer pizza restaurant is two minutes walking distance I'd recommend this place for families or someone like me looking for something affordable I run the sports division of a fashion brand so these things affect my overall numbers. I liked you park city you and your wierd beer laws see you again in late September.

Jen K.

Yelp
It's got its great points, but we had some low points, too. First, the standard room is SMALL. Very small. As in, there's not even room for a dresser in the room. If you were coming here with a bunch of ski equipment, I don't even know where you'd put it all. We stayed with our child and once that pull out bed was open, the entire room is taken over. The clothing drawers are at the very bottom of the bed, so for two people over 6 foot tall, that meant a LOT of bending over. Same with the little sink area - the cutlery drawer was ON THE FLOOR - seriously, it slides out brushing the carpet. Just very inconvenient. The walls are SUPER thin. We could hear almost everything from the adjoining room and anyone walking by in the hallway. You also had to walk to another floor to get ice. The bathroom was beautiful and I especially loved the big soaking tub... but in terms of relaxation, c'mon, can we have DIMMABLE lights? Your option while "relaxing" in the soaking tub was full-on 100% bright lights or to shut them entirely off. Please add dimmers, it would be a HUGE benefit! My major gripe was, yes, it's winter time, but we are cold-weather people. And the ENTIRE resort had no cooling system (it was "broken", we were told.) Our room was a stifling 79 degrees during our stay, and all we were told was to open the window [and let in 20 degree weather] and they gave us a box fan. Well... my small child was sleeping on the bed RIGHT in front of the window --- so our option was a stifling 79 degrees or FREEZING our child to death. Ummmm... no thanks. [which also meant we never got to use the cute fireplace b/c adding MORE heat to the room? No way on earth!] The issue was that staff offered no real apologies. No concessions like a restaurant credit, etc etc etc. Just "here's a box fan. That's all we got." Not really pleased at the lack of customer service. I'm 7 months pregnant- I was left ON FIRE for our 4 day stay b/c I wasn't going to freeze my child as the alternative. :( The indoor / outdoor pool was awesome and my child had a lot of fun swimming in it, but the ambient air was FREEZING. They have a small heating unit in a corner of the gigantic room but it never got the temp up high enough to be comfortable. The second you left the warm pool water your teeth were chattering! (and our room didn't have bathrobes to wear to/from the pool area) The area around the hotel was awesome- tons of different restaurants to choose from within walking distance (but be careful! The sidewalks weren't always well shoveled and the lighting is HORRIBLE in many areas! You could barely see people crossing the street and it got VERY busy with vehicle traffic on weekend evenings) If you ski, though, this place doesn't connect to a ski resort / ski lift. We visited the Westgate Park City REsort and their pricing is VERY similar to Newpark, but it's definitely an actual "ski resort" and is wayyyy bigger with more amenities.

Ashley F.

Yelp
JR who works at the front desk Loves his job and is a fantastic person. He helped me plan an amazing road trip to Arches national Park and gave me complete and accurate information down to the time I should leave the hotel, which car rental company to use and even the route to get there. I couldn't of done it without him and had such a perfect adventure. Regarding the hotel it's also excellent. The only thing me & my roomie would suggest is adding dimmers to the light switches in the rooms -- especially the bathroom. The lights are extremely bright. Our bathroom was this glorious spa-like room with massive soaker tub but you would never want to be in there cause it's so bright. Plus all the different light fixtures are connected to one switch on top of it so you can not choose to turn some off. Instead you have 5-6 of these majorly bright daytime bulbs shining on you and it's just too jarring for relaxing tub time. Other than that the pool is excellent, the rooms that have the Jacuzzi on the deck are incredible, the fireplace is amazing. All the other staff were stellar including the maintenance man & housekeeping. A really well-managed hotel.

Tianna T.

Yelp
This hotel is amazing! Beautiful entrance, very clean. Rooms are huge with hot tubs and washer dryers in each one. The gym could be better but the pool was great. Location is close to the mountain and in the middle of many restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Becca M.

Yelp
This is the second time my fiancé and I have come here for our anniversary. Both times were absolutely wonderful! The rooms are always so clean and the view is breathtaking no matter what room you are in. This time we stayed for three nights and had a blast!! The one bedroom suite with kitchen and private hot tub made our stay so relaxing. Having shops and restaurants below and around us made it so easy to travel. We ended up walking everywhere for the most part. Exploring was fun! There was so much to see and the location is still growing, so we are excited to see what the future holds for this place. Emily at the front desk was brilliant! She has such a great personality and her customer service skills are amazing! We will definitely be back to celebrate another occasion. This will be a staple for us, for sure! Thank you for making our anniversary so memorable! - R Mitchell

Stacy S.

Yelp
Great off season rates, huge rooms... impersonal, in a mall... and the views are great if you can tolerate the music from the mall and the constant drilling and metal work in the courtyard. I tried to enjoy the Mountain View's from my patio but for hours there was overspray from the painting and constant noise.

Vanessa R.

Yelp
This is a very detailed review so hang on for this ride. My partner scheduled this for our anniversary and accidentally messed up the dates. The front desk agent had to call up a manager (young blonde woman) who when she got to the front the first thing out of her mouth is why am I up here? We then figure out what the problem was (wrong date on our reservation) for her to say to us "you're lucky I'm in a generous mood and can reinstate your reservation." First of all everyone makes mistakes and my partner owned up to his mistake and we both were ready to pay for the room again. But the way she spoke to us in such a belittling manner was infuriating. Also your job is literally hospitality sooooo. Second the suite was connect to another suite by a locked door in the front of the room. We were able to hear the other guests kids as if they were in our room. It's something you would not expect when you're paying over $270 a night. Over all never coming back and was very dissatisfied especially by the managers behavior and need to make herself feel big and powerful.

Madison W.

Yelp
Updating this review late - Newpark contacted me again and allowed me to move my reservation. I appreciate their efforts.

Andrew S.

Yelp
This was one of the BEST hotels we have ever stayed at. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. Emily is super sweet and was very helpful during our time of stay. Amazing hotel. Definitely recommend.

Leland G.

Yelp
(LELAND) I've always stayed here at this 2 times one time in July of last year the other in November of last year we never had any problems at this hotel I would recommend you stay at this hotel

Christopher M.

Yelp
Stellar hotel with an excellent location. First, I loved the two bed room suite. We got in our entire family comfortable. It is so wonderful having a kitchen. And to have a private hot tub on the deck was outstanding. The kids absolutely loved the indoor and outdoor pool. The adults loved the large outdoor hot tub. Most importantly, this is an excellent location. You are close to everything you need. We walked with the kids to bowling, movie theaters. We either drove or took the bus a few minutes to Walmart, and the outlets. The drive to skiing is super easy. And if you prefer, you can just take the bus that picks up right in front. Totally awesome!

Liz J.

Yelp
To start off there wasn't one thing I can find to complain about this hotel. Our stay was amazing park city in the Newpark Resort. If you stay in a luxury suite you have your own hot tub on the balcony. It makes it super nice to have the privacy. The rooms are huge and our room had a normal sized fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Every time we go to park city from now on we will only stay here. It's not in downtown but they have a shuttle right outside of the hotel that takes you to a bus that takes you downtown for free, so you can park your car and not have to worry about paying for parking downtown. There is also a ton of restaurants within walking distance, or the outlets are right across the street. This hotel was perfect!

Yelp
ABOVE and BEYOND! This hotel is as good as it gets from the caring and attentive staff to the room and overall hotel decor. I was initially traveling here for a pre vday ski weekend with my boyfriend. We broke up shortly before the trip but I still went. The hotel staff (Jonas) personally delivered a chocolate cake and incredibly sweet card to my room after hearing about what happened. Who does that?! Newpark staff does. The stay was wonderful: jacuzzi on a private deck overlooking the mountains, huge soak-in tub in the bathroom and the fireplace to warm-up was perfect. The location is great, easy access to all major ski areas plus you can walk all around the Newpark area for great restaurants, coffee, shopping - pretty much everything. I will absolutely be returning here in the future!! Thank you again guys!

Yelp
One word awkward. The design of the building is just weird and poorly designed. There are two sections of the hotel with a walkway on level 2. Make sure you walk in the right building. I got lost in the wrong building and couldn't find the room. I had to take the elevator to floor 2 and take the walkway then back up the elevator to floor 4. The room is small and feels stuffy and claustrophobic. There is a small window but you need to keep the shades down because it looks into another room and into a weird alcove. It feels like staying in someone's mountain home in a guest room in a basement. There is a gas fireplace, and small counter space with a fridge. I discovered the closet in the bathroom and that is awkward because you can't open the closet door unless the bathroom door is closed. Instead of nightstands by the bed there are 2 small wall shelves. There isn't enough space for your phone with the hotel telephone sitting on the shelf. It was the little things and the way the room felt that just bothered me. We were laying in bed talking around 12:30 and shut the lights off. At 1am someone came in the room next to ours and their light shined through the cracks of the locked door which kept me awake. You can hear what is happening in the room next to yours. The room design is a big flaw- they need more light and openess. I would recommend cutting in larger floor to ceiling windows and planting Aspen trees in the those closed in areas. That way in the summer it would be pretty and the leaves would provide greenery and privacy. I am not sure if they could grow though. Hiring a designer that could help make the space more appealing might be a good idea to attempt to create more light and openness. I hate feeling closed in and the room just bugged me and I had to get out. I did try for another room but an upgrade was going to cost $105 more. I decided to spend less time in the room and take myself to the St Regis for cocktails instead at sunset. I asked if they had any rooms with larger windows in the same category but she said they are all the same. The bus is easy right outside of the hotel and I liked the location close to shopping and restaurants. They have a indoor/outdoor pool area with hot tub. The gym is ok. They don't have water in the gym which I thought was weird but I guess a water fountain is near the pool area. Just fill your water bottle up with the lemon water by the front desk before you go the gym instead. It was cold and refreshing. All in all I enjoyed Park City. What a great place full of shops, restaurants, nightlife, and art galleries! Use the New Park Hotel as a place to lay your head and get out to explore all that Park City has to offer. And if you have a room like mine- you won't want to spend time in it- I explored outside all day and most of the night until I was tired. The nightlife was awesome! Tip - Upgrade or ensure you get a balcony room. My husband's co workers had hot tubs and balcony's and they seemed happy with their rooms.

Yelp
I have stayed at the Newpark Resort a few time but never in one of the 2 bedroom townhomes. We were not impressed with the cleanliness or set up. The patio had all the furniture stacked in a corner and no table. In the kitchen the knives had rust and though a coffee maker and pods were provided, no cream or sugar were. There were cobwebs, very dirty vents, and the carpet was the worst. Stains everywhere. This townhome (73) needs a good cleaning and some updating. If you decide to stay, I'd suggest staying in one of the standard rooms in one of the main buildings. Other than that, it's a great location.

Yelp
This is easily one of my favorite hotels to stay in. We decided to come up to Park City for a weekend getaway. While looking for hotels we noticed that Newpark had hot tubs on the balconies. That was too good to pass up. With 4 people staying 1 night and 6 staying the 2nd night, we felt that the 2 bed luxury suite gave us all plenty of room. The beds were huge, the hot tub was perfect (get a higher floor room if you can though, the views from the 2nd floor we were on weren't great), the location was great as well. The rooms were clean, a large fridge, oven/microwave, and dish washer were all included in the room. The fireplace was a nice touch as well, especially for the cold mornings. There are tons of dishes and pots and pans for you to use if you would like. The location was awesome. We ate at the Kneaders right under our room for both breakfasts. We had dinner at Maxwells which was also under the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and shops are near by and Main Street is a couple minutes away as well. We actually spent most of our time at the hotel and the places around the hotel rather than the main part of Park City. There is certainly a lot to do here, with more coming on the way. A couple things on the rooms...the main bathroom has a GIANT bath tub. I decided to make a giant bubble bath in it, which involved throwing in an entire thing of bubble bath that I picked up. That's the plus of the bathroom. The weird thing is the GIANT (probably 2 feet by 8 feet) window in the living room/kitchen that looks down into the bathroom. I have no idea why a window here exists; we guessed for natural light. It's weird though. If you stand on the couch you can look directly into the bathroom and whatever is going on in there. It made for some good laughs, but yeah it was weird. I felt I could never fully feel comfortable in that bathroom and ended up just taking my bubble bath in my swim suit with the door open. We noticed a promotion for the weekend we were staying that allowed us to get a 2 bed luxury suite that sleeps 8 for ~$400 for 2 nights. Not $400 a night, $400 altogether. A great price for an awesome room an an awesome location. It was perfect for a weekend getaway and we plan on going back.

Yelp
The luxury suite with private hot tub on balcony was amazing. Room was very nice, with a great soaking tub and roomy shower. The staff was very friendly. I really liked the neighboring restaurants and shops. Lots of places to walk to for dinner or drinks. Looks like a new, developing area. I stayed here Friday night and booked the Marriott Mountainside for Saturday night. Wished I would have stayed at Newpark for both nights. I will definitely come back here.

Yelp
LOVED loved loved Newpark Resort! Stayed here for a long weekend getaway for some snowboarding and fun with the girls. The lobby was very inviting with two fireplaces and lots of comfy couches to relax on. Upstairs on the second floor was this really cool lounge with a fire pit, flat screen tv, plenty of seating, and lots of windows to enjoy the snowy scenery. We stayed in a Luxury one bedroom king suite. There was plenty of room for storage with two closets in the hallway, one closet in the bedroom, and drawers under the bed. We loved that there was a fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and even a washer and dryer. Our room had a covered balcony, which was really nice every night as we enjoyed the personal hot tub. Downstairs the heated pool, steam room, sauna, and hot tub came in handy after our long day of snowboarding. Oh, and don't bother stocking up on water like we did. We didn't realize that the KitchenAid refrigerator came equipped with a filtered water dispenser! Hopefully housekeeping enjoyed all the bottled water we left behind. I suppose it was the least we could do since they not only straightened up our room every day, but also cleaned all our dirty dishes. Newpark Resort has everything you need within walking distance, including a Best Buy, TJ Maxx, Cost Plus, Bed Bath & Beyond, Whole Foods, Smiths, bank, restaurants, and more... On the ground level of the hotel there were more restaurants (including Kneader's- see separate review), Massage Envy (which I don't particularly care for, but you may), a gear shop which actually had an entrance from within the hotel, and others... One other thing about the room...make sure you've got the heat on before you go to bed. We made the mistake of freezing our a$$es off the first night. Lesson learned! Park City has free public transportation and the bus stop is right outside the hotel. It was a pretty quick trip for us to The Canyons resort as well as our evening outings to Main Street. We all enjoyed our stay and will definitely be making Newpark Resort a tradition. Can't wait til the next visit!!

Yelp
For a premium priced hotel there's a lot to be desired. Unit we rented was quite worn, spots on carpet, furniture falling apart, stove top only partially operative. Would not stay again.

Yelp
Large, well-appointed rooms and suites at reasonable rates, for the area. Location is close enough to old town Park City to be convenient but far enough away to be easier to deal with. Few onsite amenities and many of those were closed during it stay.

Yelp
Nice, clean hotel. Tiny rooms. The sofa sleeper is horrible. Several restaurants and bakery nearby (And state liquor store!). Covered parking is awesome. I have seen some complaints about noise in the rooms from other guests. Our room (and I assume all others) are adjoined via a door. If you have noisy neighbors, you may hear them through said door.

Yelp
This is a great hotel that has great amenities and is reasonable in the pricing. Great location for restaurants and shopping. Very happy with our vacation here

Yelp
Pretty much every picture posted shows you how great this place is. Very clean, nice, and very friendly staff with a sense of humor! The location was great for shopping, eating, and close to the slopes. The View from my room was the Olympic Park across the street. The only downfall were the beds. They looked great but we're too hard for me. Go here and stop below at Kneaders for some yummy coffee in the morning and just across the way is Red Rock. I highly recommend a dinner here one night. (Just to add I gave a good review and the ones who laugh sent me a private message pissed off) Be aware!
