cool place for kids of all ages. Play area with all slides Park to have nice picnic time. Beach area with ample of sand and water outlets for full play experience for kids. Limited but good food and drink options nearby. CONS: Cant find a washroom. Big issue and should be fixed. Note: Not an actual beach so dont expect waves or water touching sand. Although that makes it safer for kids and water outlets are available to wash and play with sand, make sand castles.

The Newport Sand Beach is great for children play. However not enough parking. Only few paid parking are available costing 5$ or more for 1 hour. 8min walk from Hoboken path station.

Nice but its not a real beach where the sand meets the water. Its more of a big sandbox to sit and let the kida play in or relax and read a book etc. The walk around the beach has a very nice view. Glad we went. We saw this awesome display while around that way.

There was sand, and a playground, splash pad and no beach or water access. We had several kids so they liked it. I wouldn't quite call it a beach though. We drove from NJ on vacay from CO so we would have picked a real beach to watch sunset. Kids liked it and we had fun

Posh little neighborhood sand beach right on the Hudson River waterfront to be enjoyed by the entire family. No access to any body of water, though; be mindful of that! There is a little splash playground strictly for kids right across from the sand beach. For coffee and other beverages, Bwe Cafe is right there, across the street and for a delicious, albeit pricey seafood lunch or dinner you could pop into a brand new awesome waterfront restaurant, The Ancor. Enjoy!

Newport Sand Beach is a fantastic spot to unwind, whether you’re reading a book or playing with your child in the sand. The view of the NYC skyline is indeed spectacular! And catching the sunrise over Manhattan? Absolutely magical! 😊🌅
