News Cafè

We aren't picky eaters but don't eat meat or fish and that's really all we could find in most other restaurants in the area, some with tanks with live lobsters which we find horrendous. We love the sea and loved staying in Baja but struggled to find good food. We found News Cafe after a few days and went back many times. Loved the food, drinks, location and they didn't over charge like some of the other places. Staff friendly and great advising things to go with our dishes. Great option for lunch, snacks, dinner or just drinks.

It's a bar... with relatively poor quality of food at tourist prices. Expect laminated pictures of Bolognese in 5 languages. Best avoided if possible... Unfortunately it was one of few places opened. Also, the staff is very friendly, kitchen quick despite this place being packed and the views are nice

Very well located next to the beach. Opened during the afternoon early evening while all other restaurants are closed. Food and drinks are good. Service is great. We got some recommendations from Adrian (staff) bout the local cuisine and enjoyed our time there.

News cafe is probably the only place in the area which showed live football, so it was the main reason my wife and I went there. The food is simple and basic but good. The staff are polite and friendly.

The place is beautiful, you could watch the sea while eating. Unfortunately the glass of wine was dirty and the salad was really small for 18€.

Food feels like it came out from a freezer,toast is hard as a rock,cheese burger is hard and does not taste good,service is slow but there is not too many people.Would not reccomend!!!

My partner and I took her mum away and it was a lovely experience the staff are excellent here it’s a nice chilled vibe with a nice relaxed atmosphere no bling just a simple eating place that’s always busy

I had to rush my sitting at the News Cafe, unfortunately but I enjoyed the limited time I had there! The weather and views were beautiful and above that, the staff was super quick, friendly, and efficient. The waitress understood and delivered my drink modification perfectly--it was DELICIOUS! And they dropped a complimentary sampler platter at our table with tasty snacks including tuna pizza (not something I would typically pick out but it was SO GOOD!), cheese and salami with crackers (the crackers were nice and thin which was perfect to compliment / didn't over take the flavor of the cheese and salami, and small quiche bites with mild (not spicy) peppers. 10/10 recommend. I'll be back for sure.
