Nexy Hostel

Loved this hostel! We only stayed one night, but I wish we had more time here. We got in very late, but the 24 hour reception allowed us to check in quickly and get to our rooms at 2am. There's lots of very cute signage which makes it feel very personal and homey. I also really enjoyed the tv/book lounge, it's a very nice common space. The beds are also enclosed on 3/4 sides and have lots of hooks and storage space.

Really good location, staff were lovely. Not a social hostel at all. Great if you just want to sleep / relax. Only downfall is the steps to get up to top bunk was tricky and the air con is at 23 degrees at night time which was too hot and turns off during the day.

A Top Pick in the Old Quarter! Fantastic location right in the heart of the Old Quarter, making it super easy to explore everything. The hostel is incredibly clean with comfortable beds and great facilities – loved the rooftop! What really makes it shine is the amazing staff; so friendly, helpful, and organized. It's also a fantastic place to meet other travelers with a lively yet relaxed vibe. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Hanoi!

Wonderful, friendly staff, and 24 hour reception super helpful (especially for those doing the loop). Has a nice roof top area with seating, and a couple floors with a pool table and bar etc making for a social hostel without pub crawls and reps pushing you to go out. The dorms were comfortable and clean.

Booked 12 bed dorm for 4 of us. They allowed us to store the luggage in dorm, change use washroom until check in time. Prompt responses to questions and booking confirmation. Did not stay a night but used it as a day room till night bus. Clean. Good vibe. Reception very helpful. Good English. Located in centre of old quarter

The hostel is in a really nice area. The beds are really comfortable and clean, the bathrooms get cleaned daily. They have a really big common area, perfect if you would like to do some work. Some of the rooms are really small though, but they offer for you to change rooms if you don't like your room.

Lovely customer service! They helped me in sending a letter to their hostel from Denmark. There ended up being problems with the letter, so they printed out an image of a picture of the letter. And response time is very, very good! So all in all, seems like a lovely place with good intentions (even though I haven’t actually been there😄)

Stayed for 2 nights in female dorm and 1 night in mixed dorm in July 2025. Firstly the location was excellent. Tucked away on a quieter street in the old quarter, but just two roads over from Hoan Kiem lake and the weekend market. Beds in both dorms were very comfortable and clean, with hooks to hang your towel etc and a light and plug, as well as privacy curtain. Layout of beds in female dorm was nicer than some of the beds in the mixed due to where the entrance of the bed was (with our beds in the mixed having the entrance at the end of the bed making it extremely hot inside with little air flow - had to sleep with the curtain open to feel the fan/aircon). Good amenities provided such as towel, shower gel and shampoo (would help to have these labelled). Towel had some stains but staff were happy to exchange this. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Bathrooms were clean. The only issues were that the female bathroom on the 3rd floor did not have a window or fan so there was no air flow making it incredibly humid, so you were sweating as soon as you finished your shower! The female bathroom on the 7th floor was much nicer with a window so better air flow, however some hooks were broken so made it harder to hang up towel, clothes etc. Lockers are under the bed, meaning there was plenty of space in the dorms. Lockers in female dorm were much bigger than in the mixed! One downside of the female dorm was that the door was very loud and would sound an alarm when not closed properly. Unfortunately people arrived late one evening and so the loud noise from the door kept us awake until the early hours. Otherwise was a great stay and would recommend to travellers! Lots of social areas, but wasn’t a social group when we were there so is what you make of it in terms of socialising!
