A popular - touristy - restaurant right in the heart of District 1, with a menu that spans local, fusion, and broader Asian cuisine. The food isn't up to my personal liking but it does a great job of catering to diverse groups. I, however, love their innovative and excellent drink menus (btw the vietnamese coffee is crazily strong!). Service is impeccable. Be prepared for a crowd, this place is huge but super popular.

Nhà Hàng Ngon Great place to experience a wide variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes in one location. The menu is extensive, covering specialties from different regions, and everything we tried was well-prepared and flavorful. The grilled fish was perfectly cooked with a nice balance of spices, the fried rice was fragrant and not greasy, and the clam soup was light, aromatic, and comforting. Desserts were also a highlight—classic Vietnamese sweets done right, not overly sweet. The atmosphere is lively and authentic, making it ideal for both tourists and locals who want to explore Vietnamese cuisine. Service was efficient despite the restaurant being quite busy. Prices are reasonable for the quality and variety offered. Highly recommended if you want a reliable introduction to Vietnamese food in a comfortable setting.

Ngon offers a semi-outdoor dining experience that was cool and relaxing in the evening, though it might feel a bit warm on a hotter day. The setting is immaculate .. beautifully decorated and almost like stepping into someone’s grand home. The food was decent, and while the staff had limited English proficiency, they were attentive and helpful. Overall, it was a pleasant and impressive place to dine.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with beautiful decor. Most of the area is semi-outdoor, which can get a bit warm depending on the season, but it still feels cozy and relaxing. The place is quite spacious and can host many guests. There’s also a second floor that’s quieter and more peaceful — perfect if you want a calm dining experience. The staff are kind and helpful, though their English communication is a bit limited. The food tastes good overall 🍽️, but a few dishes seemed not freshly prepared (a little cold and not very warm). Still, everything was flavorful and enjoyable.

Ngon is very cool, in the heart of the city it’s a pretty busy place so maybe a reservation might be best. We arrived just looking for a table for 3 and waited a short while (no more than 5 minutes) before being guided to our table. It’s a big restaurant, stunning decor, family friendly with a very relaxed atmosphere. The menu is extensive, there is plenty to choose from, it’s not all traditional dishes, there a western mix too. I can’t remember the dish I ordered but it was a seafood salad, being it was still early lunch time. The prices seemed fair, I guess, it took a little while to arrive (but it was busy) but I have to say I had more salad than seafood and was slightly disgruntled that the balance wasn’t quite there. That’s when I started to question the price. Did I just pay 100k for a lot of cucumber? 🤣 Anyway, delicious as it was I was totally blown away by the decor. The walls are a deep, sensual red, making it ideal for a hot date, the lighting and garden, pond area are just visually breathtaking and really set the tone. I saw many families, a few couples and just groups of friends hanging out so this restaurant really caters for everyone. The staff were attentive and polite and brought out the baby seat for the little one, so we were made to feel comfortable and were never made to feel ignored or forced to holler for anything we needed. A good experience overall, and a happy tummy if not a very appreciative wallet. But you can’t have it all eh!

Really special environment. Excellent food quality. I asked out tour company to arrange upscale lunch someplace our group could try a variety of Vietnamese dishes beyond pho. This place knocked of out of the park. The food was fresh and delicious and a real balance of dishes including meat, fish, and veggies. The space itself is wildly creative and welcoming. Would definitely return!

Authentic Vietnamese food at very reasonable price for such cosy and nice ambience. They served Thai and Chinese cuisine too but I was focusing just their Vietnamese dishes and never disappoint with it. Service was not too bad but can be improved because there were quite busy during lunch time. Food quality is top notch and the price is reasonable. Will definitely come back again
