My 3 adult children and I stayed in a stand-alone cottage for 3 nights that consisted of 2 rooms (Chui and Mambo, I love that the rooms are names of animals in Swahili). Beautiful decor, most comfortable beds with mosquito nets, and the best thing was the fireplace. It was chilly for the nights we were there in early-June, so we requested they light the fireplace after dinner. Such a special treat to enjoy the fire and warm up the room. Another treat is the turn-down service and on cool nights they put a hot water bottle in your bed! So heavenly!||The property is absolutely beautiful and you can take a tour of the coffee farm and walk around the property. You can choose to eat on the large outdoor balcony (with fire pits for cool evenings) or inside. For breakfast there are buffet items and also a made-to-order station for crepes and eggs. For lunch they packed to-go bags (you choose the items) on safari days, and one day we returned early and had lunch outside on the expansive grass area and they set up a table for us with a tablecloth and brought everything to us. For dinner there are buffet items and a made-to-order noodle/rice stir-fry station. I have lots of food allergies and they were always prepared with a clean wok and spatula in case I wanted something made-to-order. The fruit and dessert tables were expansive and a wonderful selection. We had the best mangos and papayas here.||The staff are wonderful and so accommodating. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely stay at the farmhouse. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable. We had marabou storks nesting on the tree above our lodge. It was a great experience to see them. We enjoyed the guided tour of the farm and learning about how they grow the coffee and the vegetables served in the restaurant. The food was wonderful and like other travellers I thoroughly recommend the stir fry and the bbq. We also enjoyed G&Ts and snacks as part of the happy hour. The staff are lovely and always at hand to help. The farm is close to the crater where we had the most amazing safari. A wonderful retreat and we would love to return in the future.

This place was fantastic! The only reason I rated four instead of five were because we had nightly visitors on our roof and didn’t sleep all that well :-) But other than that, it was so nice!! The grounds are just lovely with the gardens and sunsets. Extremely friendly staff, especially Musa! He paid such close attention to our every need and had a great sense of humor. His morning latte was such a special treat! We took a tour of the coffee plantation and it was so interesting. Free happy hour and cocktails were a nice addition after a long day of game drive! Would highly recommend this place.

The farm house was SO beautiful. We loved touring the gardens and coffee plantation. What an amazing operation being done in such a sustainable way. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Musa was especially great as our waiter during the stay. He instantly remembered our names and our morning coffee order.

The Farmhouse was a wonderful place to stay. I wish we had more than one night here. We came here after our last day on Safari from the Crater. We stayed in cabin Pundamilia that is close to the main area which was nice. The room is very spacious and there is a very nice deck. The bed was comfortable. There were lots of outlets, all international plugs. The pool was refreshing after a day on safari.|Happy hour was nice. We got our complimentary drink and snacks and sat with a view of the garden. |We went on the coffee tour that was very interesting. Wandering the gardens was beautiful with lots of birds flying around.|Staff were very friendly. Meals, buffet style were delicious, lots of variety.

An almost self sustained place. They grow all the vegetables, have a coffee plantation, eggs, chickens etc. Needles to say that all food and coffee tasted delicious. First at the parking it does not look as much, but when you come to the main building it’s fantastic nice modern farmhouse with a nice lofty layout with a lot of different nice details. The rooms were big a spacious. Very friendly staff, you felt really welcome.

This stay was lovely. First I must give a big thank you to Irene, once my allergies were explained to her and I explained I was worried about cross-contamination she was very helpful and careful at meal times to ensure I had enough to eat and that the chef could explain to me the ingredients of each dish, and keep anything not safe well away. She personally ensured I had a good lunch to take with me. Thank you so much Irene 🙂 Aside from that, the food was beautiful especially the vegetables and fruit grown on the farm. Our room was lovely (kinyonga) and we really appreciated the robes and the turn down service each night. I would really recommend this lodge it is amazing and the staff are very attentive and helpful. The sundowners every day were a lovely touch too!

We loved this hotel, it is in the most gorgeous setting, our room was perfect with an incredible view. The gardens are fabulous and the staff delightful. We would love to stay here again. A haven to go back to after a long day on Safari. The food is delicious with stir fries and wonderful fresh fruit. Coffee is grown and you drink the coffee that they grow. All very special
