Ngorongoro Wild Camp

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in while on safari. The location is perfect blending in with the surrounding vegetation with great views of the rift valley down below. Our room was excellent as the bed was warm, comfortable, squeaky clean and tastefully furnished. The sunrise was magical and seemed like we were in the Lion King! ||Food was outstanding, actually the best we had in Tanzania! The people running the place were kind, attentive and really nice.||We have to go back soon!

One of the best kept secrets in Ngorongoro is the magical experience we had at this place. The location is so magnificent as it perched up high above the rift valley. Our room had a great view that we could enjoy right from the patio. The room is so cozy and one cannot get over the warmth and snuggly feeling.|I cannot fail to mention the wonderful staff whose attention for anything we needed was 100%. The food was really good and we kept on going for seconds from the buffet.|I highly rate this place for great value.

Campsite is quite far out on a rocky, dusty road. Tents are large and comfortable with a large bathroom and plenty of space including a good lounge area with a view. Good wi fi and electricity supply. Beds were comfortable with mosquito nets however it was disappointing to have 2 single beds for a married couple. The highlight was definitely the multiple giraffe and zebras walking through the property. This really made our stay at this location. Staff were very accommodating and happily provided breakfast early before our 6am departure. Negative- dinner does not start until 7:30pm. This is far too late for tired travelers who have been out all day. There were many other people ready to start eating earlier. This camp needs to recognize what the clients need.

Had a marvelous stay here! Buffet had many fantastic options, staff were so kind and friendly. Diki diki animals at camp were so cute and harmless. Then woke up to see a baby giraffe grazing right at camp. Just what you want to see while on safari!

wonderful stay we had zebras in the garden in the evening. I had gluten free diet requirement and they were able to cater for it. they had good wine as well. the rooms were very comfortable. The rooms were tent but more like a normal room. this our best stay in our 4 day safari.

We stayed in this lovely property for three nights over Christmas and we did not want to leave. Tucked in a secluded area overlooking Lake Eyasi and the Rift Valley you wake up to some of the most beautiful sunrises. The spacious tent rooms were well appointed with a balcony that opens up to the beautiful surroundings. The bed is really comfortable and you enjoy very great showers.|The staff really stood out for professionalism and friendly demeanor. They always had a smile and attentive to any of our needs. |We enjoyed the escorted walks to the main common area by Ledama and Sabili. We even had a walking safari with Ledama and an armed park ranger which was very intimate and exciting. |We really enjoyed mealtimes with Chef Baraka in the kitchen. There was enough variety to choose from given our dietary restrictions. |We had an awesome time and unreservedly recommend Ngorongoro Wild Camp to everybody.

Well above expectations. Adorable service, as in many places in Tanzania. Very spectacular seeing Zebras and Giraffs outside of the cabin.

The location of this lodge is so spectacular as it overlooks the great rift valley opening to some of the most beautiful views I have ever seen. We particularly enjoyed the our tent room perched high up and the sunrise would come streaming right through the sides. The tents are luxurious with all the amenities that one would get in a hotel in the middle of the bush. |The staff were fantastic as they went above and beyond to meet all our needs at this place. What really stands out at Ngorongoro Wild Camp is their attention to detail for everything. They work really hard to wow and impress at every turn and ensure that we were happy.|The food was top line and we were sad to leave this magical place.
