We took the "menu degustacion" for 38€ and it was absolutely delicious. Everthing was fresh, well presented and tasty. The portions were enough for a good apetite. We also took the wine menu with it (4 glasses of different wines for 12€). The service was fast (we went at 14h) and friendly even if the waiters are all young. I definitely recommend it!

We loved this restaurant and it was probably the best food we had on our stay in San Sebastian. The prices were very reasonable given what you got. The starters although often c. €12 we're much more generous and higher quality than the pintxos available around town. The restaurant is very modern in decor but the food was pretty classic. We had the shared rice dishes. The fish dish in particular was amazing. The fish came raw and was added to the hot soupy rice at the table. The croquettes, local peppers and anchovies were the best we had. Service was great. We booked for 10pm and didn't feel rushed at all. By UK/London standards, the wine list was absurdly cheap. We couldn't believe it, great wines between €12 and €30 euros a bottle. Our three course meal (a la carte not taster menu) plus two bottles of wine, plus lots of sparkling water, came to €160 for four people, and we chose the more expensive wines.

Good food with oceanfront view from the terrace. One of the waiters who spoke good English and she was friendly and professional. We had beef filet and roasted lamb for main courses and peach and French toast for desserts. It was just a cozy place to be at but mostly tourists outside Spain were out there like myself lol.

We had a very good lunch here. The place is modern, location is very central. Service is fast. Food is really good and at lunch you get a lot of quality for what you are paying (30e per person on the fixed menu). Definitely worth going back!

If you’re a vegetarian, this is not at all worth your time or money (and yes, I know that it’s not designed for us, but if you put at the bottom of your menu that you can accommodate vegetarians and other dietary restrictions, then have some decent options available). My husband had the steak which he said was quite nice, but for 17€ I was served fried cheese (see below) that was in no way exceptional. It was insulting, particularly after making an effort to make sure they could feed us both. On top of that, the service was merely so-so. Perhaps look elsewhere for something worth the price.

This was just OK. It was a very rainy moment of the day and we were hungry and in the neighborhood. We choose it blindly. I cannot say it was bad but it was definitely at the bottom of the list in a city such as Donostia. There are many many better alternatives.

Tasting menu was great with local wines to match. The waiters made something special for my girlfriends birthday and were generous with re-fills! Would go back some other time.

Yelp
Delicious food are a dime a dozen in Donostia, Spain but you must try Ni Neu anyway. They have a great breakfast special with a variety of options. I got cafe con leche, pan con tomate, and added on a yogurt parfait. I would skip the parfait but the coffee and pan con tomate was as good as anything else in town. And there are a lot of yummy eats here! My companion got the cortado with a cheesecake and said it was amazingly fresh and creamy, not too sweet. The coffees also came with a delicious mini muffin. We left town for a week to start the Camino and all he wanted was this cheesecake for breakfast when we walked thru town again a few days later. The modern restaurant sits in front of the sea, amazing for people watching and enjoying the breeze. They also have pinxtos out during lunch hours. Next time we are in town, we will make sure to try their lunch or dinner menu. Eskerrik Asko (thank you in Basque)!

Yelp
When you're tired of bar-hopping to eat pintxos and want a proper sit-down meal, this is an excellent choice and will give you a great tasting menu + wine pairing that won't break the bank. Make a reservation ahead of time - we were able to make one a day in advance for lunch, but I recommend making a reservation at least a week in advance to make sure you get a spot. With a 6 course tasting menu set at 38€, plus 9€ or so for wine pairing, this is a phenomenal deal. The dishes are generous in size, and the wine pours are also generous - we went home feeling quite full, tipsy, and happy. The restaurant is clean, modern. is well situated in the city and easy to get to, and has a beautiful view of the water. Here's the 6 course tasting menu that we got. Ensalada de bacalao - This particular dish was good but not particularly memorable. It was a cold dish with cod but to be honest, wasn't a standout amongst the other dishes. Gyozas de txangurro con caldo - You'll get 2 gyzoas filled with crab, and with some broth. Definitely unique and tasty, but not a standout amongst the other main dishes. Merluza Asada - I really liked this fish - the texture was great, and the fish was fresh. It wasn't overpowered with sauces or butter so you could really taste the simplicity and freshness of the fish. Cordero Asado y Deshuesado - I normally hate lamb, but this is the best lamb dish I've ever had and I loved every bite of it. It was tender, the meat was falling apart, and the outside was perfectly caramelized. I was sad when I finished eating this dish, it was delicious. Torreja Caramelizada - This is like a cross between French toast and bread pudding, and it was perfectly caramelized. It paired perfectly with the armagnac ice cream. I was full but I would have kept eating more of this dessert if it was in front of me. Merengue de Cafe - I love desserts, so when this second dessert came out, I was excited because you can never have enough dessert. I was stuffed and drunk from all the other courses + wine pairing, but I finished all of this. There were so many textures between the merengue, the coffee ice cream, or the crumbly chocolate base. Overall, I loved the lamb dish the most even though this was the one dish I didn't think I was going to like. The fish and the desserts were also excellent, and the wine pairing was enough to get both of us nice and toasty for the afternoon. We were quite content when we finished this delicious and filling meal. Definitely a great deal for 6 courses and worth the 9€ for the wine pairing. I'd definitely come back here again and recommend to anyone coming to San Sebastian that wants a sit-down lunch or dinner experience.

Yelp
We checked into our hotel around 1pm and took a taxi directly to Ni Neu, reservations made in advance, I recommend it. We were sat by a handsome young man and were given english menus. We ordered the set lunch menu which is quite reasonable, ala carte also available. What can I say? They food was amazing here. A delicious juicy Tenderloin cooked to prefection and a crusted Risotto with seafood & black ink sauce. Our menu also came with a starter, a bottle of wine, bottle of water and dessert. A perfect lunch after a 5 hour train ride from Madrid. It ended with a box. It opened to some delicious bites, filled with homemade peanut brittle and marshmallow, amazing! We decided to end our meal with more wine, we finished the first bottle. We asked for 2 more glasses and they brought over another full bottle, left it, we were like, huh? And no they didn't charge extra. Gotta love Spain!

Yelp
One of the best meals ever! The restaurant it self is really nice - very modern. Good music too! We had lunch here on a Sunday and ordered the tasting menu - 6 courses including water, a bottle of wine and coffee. I also ordered the wine pairing which ended up being 5 full classes of wine for 9 euros - a steal! We were really impressed by every dish - the plating, portions, and flavors were great! The service was really exceptional. The timing of the courses was perfect - we did not have to wait between courses. I asked for a list of the wines we had with the meal and our server wrote it out for me on a little card. Nice!

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant with excellent service. Modern decor and very comfortable ambiance overall. The paella and steak were both excellent and the lamb was superb. We made a reservation at 8 right as they opened after a long day of travel. It was exactly what we were looking for - an easy but delicious entry into this very cool city. And the best part was the server who, seeing that we were trying out our Spanish, took extra time to give us a little Spanish lesson with each course. It was clear she wanted us to get it right and was very proud of her culture. A great first night in San Sebastián!

Yelp
My husband and I went for lunch and were impressed. We had a small salad and poached eggs to start. Both were very good. Our mains were the lamb and lobster. The lobster was cooked perfectly and the jus and gnocchi that came with it were delicious as well. The lamb was also delicious but I didn't enjoy the flavour of the rice that came with it. The price was not bad considering the quality of the meal.

Yelp
Just walked in and were seated quickly. Really exceptional food for the price and friendly professional service.

Yelp
For the price, I thought the food here was just okay, nothing outstanding, but not bad either. The location and service are great, but from all the great reviews I expected more from the food. We had one of the tasting menus (they change seasonally). I haven't tried the pintxos here, but I've heard they are really good.

Yelp
Ni Neu was to be our big splurge lunch, the one prix fixed meal we were going to do in San Sebastian. I thought overall the food was quite good, but it was not as good as I expected. The standout part of my meal was the appetizer, which was a very light tomato and herb salad that also included melons, cucumbers and tomato water. It was incredibly refreshing. My husband ordered the tuna tartare in gazpacho, which was also quite good. For the main course, our server recommended the grilled lobster, maybe because we were tourists...I don't know. The lobster itself was perfectly cooked but the fidua that it sat on and the mushroom broth underneath were horribly oversalted. My husband got this wonderful strawberry and marscapone dessert with beetroot sponge, weird sounding, I know...but absolutely scrumptious. I unfortunately ordered the chocolate bubbles w/ ginger ice cream. The ginger ice cream was very refreshing and delicious, but the chocolate bubbles were disappointing. The flavor was off. All in all, I liked the meal but I expected to be blown away and I was not.
