I was walking around looking for the hotel i would like and next to the main street - and Nican Mo Calli just got me! Big,super clean rooms, very nice service, ambience is very warm and friendly. View on the mountains made me don't want to leave the room. Hotel has little nice pool, sunbeds, big enough garden, good WiFi. Really, i had a great time! It will suit for couples, families, solos, business - everything. And the price is very nice!

This hotel is the cleanest place I've ever stayed! The two cleaning women and the yard man were there working every day for 7 hours and the place is immaculate. I noticed that they even air out the shower curtain after guests check out. Each room has a lovely view of the mountain and the pyramid. Just a short walk uphill to the center of town, restaurants and tons of shopping. All rooms have a balcony on one side and a view of the pool and yard on the other. The pool was great but we couldn't figure out how to work the spa pool (and our spanish was no help). Lots of sun, very quiet and nice.||||Our complaint was that they only had instant coffee and a hot water cooler, sugar no creamer. I can't imagine that a Mr. Coffee would put them out too much and what a difference it would make. People who require coffee before they start the morning need to beware, which is too bad and very short sighted of the hotel owners. Also I would recommend a list at the desk of places open early for breakfast and perhaps some idea of restaurants close by. On our last day there we realized that there were two restaurants down the hill, very close by, closer than the main street.||||No alcohol, no coffee, no food, but very comfortable and clean. Did I mention that the price is extremely reasonable? I would stay there again, but encourage the owners (who seem to live there) to splurge on some morning coffee.

This small hotel is delightful. It's about 3 blocks from the main plaza, so close, but very quiet. At the foot of sheer cliffs! Near a main street for eateries, and on the way to the path up the cliffs to the small pyramid. Loved having a balcony with rocking chairs. The view of the mist-shrouded cliffs in the morning light was just awesome. We thought rooms 7 & 8 were the best. Am going back and will stay again. Mon-Thurs the rates are lower. Town is transformed on Sat + Sun into a giant mercado, filled to the brim with Mx nationals coming in from close-by Mex City. Fun, but crowded. Yet this mini-hotel is still quiet! Treat yourself and eat late afternoon at the gourmet restaurant hidden in the jungle off the path to the pyramid. Great food, beautiful surroundings.

We stayed from Sunday to Tuesday, with a lower rate than in weekends (around 20% lower) in a suite. The building is as others say in their reviews, beautiful, it's a 3 story building with 4 rooms in each, floor, great view to the Tepozteco (all of them), and great location (just a few steps away from the Tepozteco). But there's a few things that makes this hotel average, which I describe...|| First of all, check in time, it is noted that it is at 14.30 hrs, but room was ready until 15.30hrs. Also they offer a heated pool available...which was never available, it was dirty and closed all the 3 days we were there, no one was at the front desk..never, so if you needed asistance or anything, no one's there. Maybe these three things are not that important, but the fourth one is (at least, for us) and it is that when you take a bath, you either have to take it with cold water or with boiling water, and after 4 or 5 minutes (at the most) of using hot water, you won't have more but after 5 more minutes, so it was unconfortable to take a bath.|||| Room was nice, with the orenge brick ceiling, king bed and living area, but we noticed the only difference between this type of room and the regular ones, were the beds. Size is the exact same and some have living rooms and the others a little terrace.

We liked the accomodations, but we cut our visit to Tepoztlan short because there wasn't much happening in the town. The zocalo wasn't a place you could hang out and people watch, and food options were not that interesting. It is beautiful, and the cemetery is within walking distance of the centre, but after a day, we felt we'd had a enough. It was not as atmospheric as we expected it to be given how it's described. It is beautiful though.||||Our room was on the top level, which meant the ceiling was an interesting brick dome. It did also mean that coming home gave us a good amount of exercise. The bed was comfy and we had a view of the beautiful mountains and pyramid. The bathroom could have used a shower curtain, and the step down into the sink area and back up into the toilet and shower area were a little worrisome - especially at night. We didn't use the pool, but it did look inviting.

Off a quiet side street 4 blocks from the Zocolo Nican Mo Calli is a beautiful hotel with a great view of the mountains. The common area, garden and pool are very well decorated and maintained. We were in room 10 on the top floor with a stunning view from the balcony. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. There was Wifi and a flat screen TV with English channels. Buses from Mexico City drop you off at the top of the hill but it is an easy walk into town (20 minutes) using the sidewalk on the left. Directo local buses to Cuernavaca are about half way up the hill.

I didn't actually stay at the Nican Mo Calli Posada, but next door at Posada Ali. However, I did pay a visit. Tepoztlan has a ton of guest houses, and I really did think that Posada Ali was going to be the best for my money until I saw this place. BEAUTIFUL! I walked through the doors and was immediately greeted - in a nice way, not in an overwhelming way. I was given information about the Posada in a polite, not-at-all pushy manner. The place has a pool and larger, more spacious grounds than its neighbor. It also has Internet in the rooms! Wonderful! Rooms have their own balconies. That said, the price is a bit higher (+$10-$20), but I think there is room for negotiation. If you're planning on traveling to Tepoztlan, I highly recommend checking this place out.

Very good choice for a few days in Tepotztlán, comparing with the next door neighbours, the choice is very easy. The rooms are beautifull in complete white and a balcony, small swimming pool is available. The only negative side was de lack of breakfast, they told us they used to have breakfast but then everybody left to eat outside. But anyway, breakfast in Mexico is easy to find. Highly recommendable. Wifi available.
