The South of France Has a New Luxury Hotel — With Panoramic Views of the Mediterranean Sea and Southern Alps

"Visible from the hotel rooftop where the runway appears to jut into the sea, this busy coastal airport is France’s second-busiest after Paris’s combined hubs and handled over 6.5 million passengers in 2021, resulting in frequent incoming and outgoing air traffic that is a defining feature of the city’s seaside skyline." - Chrissie McClatchie Chrissie McClatchie Chrissie McClatchie writes about travel, wine, and yachting from her home on the Côte d’Azur, where she has lived for nearly two decades. Nice Côte d'Azur Airport

I’m reviewing here terminal2 departure and duty free. I think it’s a very good, quite and organized airport in comparison to lot of small airports. The duty free is over priced but it has a good variety of food and products. The staff at the security are very polite but unlike many airports in Europe, they still have issues with water bottles a d liquids on flights. Seats are comfortable and toilets are everywhere with a place to fill the water.

A fairly small airport with convenient access between Terminals 1 and 2 via a tram. It’s also easy to reach the city from here. Just make sure to purchase a valid ticket before boarding, as fines for fare evasion can be quite steep.

Amazing airport, it’s vary big. Great organisation and many gates. Many shops and restaurants in T1 and T2 both. I love the app of the airport, it’s really helpful! Amazing!

🌞 Exploring the Best of Nice, Côte d’Azur 🇫🇷 What an incredible stop along the French Riviera! From the sun-drenched Promenade des Anglais to the vibrant old town and stunning sea views, Nice is a must-see. We walked nearly 23,000 steps discovering every corner—day and night—and the energy, beauty, and charm never let up. ✨ If you're thinking about the Côte d’Azur, Nice should be at the top of your list. Great food, gorgeous views, and a perfect mix of beach life and city vibe. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend

The airport is rather small and there sent many shops the security check in wasn’t too manic but the staff would make you remove your liquids at the conveyor belt rather than warning you before hand to have them ready in the clear bag so I was slightly confused and overwhelmed by the whole experience. The best convenience is that the metro is just outside and quite cheap and easy to navigate !!

ATTENTION PARENTS! The chek-in personnel is not well trained and i felt they dont have compassion for parents with small kids. We were not allowed to take strollers with us, because of the sign (attached). It literally says cabin not the plane by itself. We have never taken any stroller to the cabin. The two ladies were extremely rude and unprofessional, cheatchatting behind my back that we are using stroller for carryon baggage. NOT YOUR DAMN BUSINESS! I have two small kids and right for two strollers. There is no regular strollers inside of airport, just the once on the picture. I hope, these two olds get cuff on the nape! A small airport, we took Paris to Nice flight, landed here. The exit was very quick and fast. The taxi pickup area is a little confusing with multiple lifts and floors. Otherwise it is well managed overall. We also left from Nice, had an early morning flight, the shops/stalls were majorly not even open. The airport felt very deserted.
