Nice Port

Very nice walking area !! See the colorful little boats then go up the steps and star the walk at Promenade Englais, beautiful view of the "mer"!

Nice Pier is arguably the most picturesque part of Nice, making it an ideal starting point for your tour of the city. Paid parking lots are available nearby, and they usually have space even during busy times. Across the street from the Maria Sine church, you'll find a free water refill point, as well as an elevator for convenience. Additionally, the old town is just a short walk away from the port, making it easy to explore other charming areas of the city.

Amazing port (harbour) so much to see, to do or to eat. We spend an hour or 2 in the surroundings. We also took a boatride to see the whole coast. Tram (line 2) stops here. Its a great place to watch some fish, luxoury ships and much more!

Great, clean, lots of terraces, quiet!

An incredible quaint Port, with a tram stop on its doorstep and the hustle and bustle of a modern city interlaced with the grandeur of super rich yachts.

Review: Make sure to enjoy the picturesque landscape on a boat. The scenery of the colourful buildings next to the blue Cote d'Azure is breathtaking. Boat tours start from 1h tour for 20€ per person. Making a reservation in advance is mandatory and payment can be done 30min prior to take off. Alternatively, you can also take a stroll from the port to castle hill.

The Port of Nice is a fantastic destination for any visit to the city. Regardless of the season, weather, or time of day, you can always enjoy all that the port has to offer. It serves not only as a place for boats to dock, but also as a leisure space and tram stop. The area boasts numerous cafes and bars, and is situated at the base of Castle Hill. One of the unique features of the Port of Nice is the vibrant wooden boats, which are kept in good condition by their owners in exchange for free mooring. The port of Nice although small is very beautiful. It is very nice to walk around it, or in the summer to take Lou passaging a free ride boat that connects one side of the port to the other. There are plenty of restaurants around if you get hungry, and don't forget to visit the castle hill and the old town if you haven't.
