Nicholaston Farm Caravan & Camp Site

What a great place. The welcome on arrival is a great start to your holiday. Everything is explained and you are shown to you camping area. The facilities here are first class better than some hotels ive stayed in. They really have thought of everything. Huge fridges and freezers, great hot showers spotlessly clean. Great washing up areas drying rooms. Really nothing to improve or suggest. Thanks Nicholston farm you have a gem of a campsite and wonderful staff.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay here. |The customer service was fantastic, they were really accommodating of some of our requests and the pre arrival service and information was excellent. ||The site is spacious and it doesn’t feel crowded. Access down to the beach is straight out the bottom field. ||The site facilities are exceptional, the wash block was always immaculate no matter the time and we never had to wait for a shower. The best site facilities we have seen. ||Definitely recommend and will definitely be back! Thank you!

This site really is excellent. The staff running it are friendly, helpful and very organised. The site doesn’t feel too big, yet delivers across the board. The pitches in the caravan and motorhome field are all you need, with lovely views. The facilities are clean and modern, in fact the showers are state of the art and better than most homes I suspect :-). The shop is well stocked and staff have really thought carefully about what is important to those that stay there. The fresh pastries and bread is a extra lovely addition. For us, the position of the site was the cherry on top. A short walk down to a beautiful, quiet beach, through some lovely woods and dunes is just a delight particularly when you have great weather which we did. It is hard coming back up as people have referred to, but do-able. Those with mobility issues need to take more care and make sure they are with somebody to help them down and back up safely. From the quiet beach, you can walk round to Oxwich Bay which was busy. I really can’t fault this site and highly recommend it.

A wonderful campsite with great facilities. The toilet and wash rooms are immaculate clean. There is a great, on-site shop, with all the essentials and some wonderful treats. The pitches are well maintained, and the views are amazing. The beach is a short walk (approx 10 minutes), but it is down a fairly steep hill, so coming back takes a bit longer. The site is dog friendly, and clearly a family orientated campsite. Really helpful and friendly staff. All in all, it's a lovely site. Will definitely come here again.

We had a really nice stay! Staff was super lovely, and made great coffee!! You have a nice little shop with fresh bread and viennoiseries every morning, pizza at night, and some camping essentials. All the facilities are great, and very clean. The pitch was a bit more on a slope than we expected though maybe we didn't choose right I don't know, but the electric pitches looked very leveled. I think it should be really great if you are staying with kids as well! The showers are huge for example,and it is very safe. Can only recommend!

What a great campsite ! The toilets and showers were immaculate!! The shop was well stocked with everything you could need . The fresh bread was amazing, all the staff were friendly and helpful..loved it , didn’t want to go home . We were there with a two year old who had the time of her life,.. she especially loved the animal chairs .😂 . The beaches are beautiful . The fridges, freezers and, well, pretty much all of it was great.We hope to return .. would recommend booking early to get the good pitches. Thanks , loved it .

First class campsite in a great location. We camped in the field with power points. The pitches are terraced with good drainage, which is great. Fantastic views down along Oxwich from your tent. ||Facilities wise, there are plenty of regularly cleaned showers and toilets. Most of them are in a single, unisex block that also had the washing up area and plenty of freezers to use. Indeed, I wouldn't bother taking a cool box.||And then there's the shop. It's a step up from any other campsite shop I've seen. Pretty much all the essentials are there, plus fantastic ice cream, a bakery for fresh croissants in the morning, and pizzas for evening meals. ||It's a steep path down to the beach, and a bit of a slog to get over the dunes at the bottom, but this end of Oxwich is beautiful and a lot less crowded. There's also the coastal path that takes you to Tor Bay and then over the headland to the spectacular Three Cliffs.||We will be going again.

Just back from a weekend at Nicolaston Campsite. I've been camping for almost 40 years and this is one of the most well thought out and clean campsites I've ever stayed at. Lots of electric hook ups (if needed), washing up, fridge/freezer, laundry rooms and spacious shower rooms which all have a little bench and plenty of hooks. The little shop selling essentials and takeaway hot drinks and pizzas was a real bonus. Many of the pitches have sea views and a 10 minute wander through the trees will take you to the stunning Oxwich beach. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. An absolute gem of campsite.
