Nicholaston Farm Caravan & Camp Site

A wonderful campsite with great facilities. The toilet and wash rooms are immaculate clean. There is a great, on-site shop, with all the essentials and some wonderful treats. The pitches are well maintained, and the views are amazing. The beach is a short walk (approx 10 minutes), but it is down a fairly steep hill, so coming back takes a bit longer. The site is dog friendly, and clearly a family orientated campsite. Really helpful and friendly staff. All in all, it's a lovely site. Will definitely come here again.

This site really is excellent. The staff running it are friendly, helpful and very organised. The site doesn’t feel too big, yet delivers across the board. The pitches in the caravan and motorhome field are all you need, with lovely views. The facilities are clean and modern, in fact the showers are state of the art and better than most homes I suspect :-). The shop is well stocked and staff have really thought carefully about what is important to those that stay there. The fresh pastries and bread is a extra lovely addition. For us, the position of the site was the cherry on top. A short walk down to a beautiful, quiet beach, through some lovely woods and dunes is just a delight particularly when you have great weather which we did. It is hard coming back up as people have referred to, but do-able. Those with mobility issues need to take more care and make sure they are with somebody to help them down and back up safely. From the quiet beach, you can walk round to Oxwich Bay which was busy. I really can’t fault this site and highly recommend it.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had the best time. We would have loved to have stayed longer but it was a last minute booking so limited availability, ours was a very reluctant pack up on the last day :(|Fantastic sea views from our pitch, friendly staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we booked in, good size pitches, picnic bench on every one (great addition) immaculately clean facilites, the bathrooms were 5 star, the best we've ever experienced. |We loved navigating the various routes down through the woods and over the dunes to get to the beach. The tide went out quite a distance which opened up other bays for us to explore. By far, the best beaches we've ever been on, and so quiet, perfect for dogs to run around on without fear of disturbing other beach goers.|We'll definitely be back for a longer stay *****

Amazing campsite - probably our favourite in England and Wales (we haven't been further afield yet)! The facilities are impressive - showers and toilets cleaned very regularly, lots of useful hooks in both, lots of hot water and a separate dry area for each shower, great washing up area and fridge/freezer with helpful touches like providing labels and pencils to identify your fridge bag. The shop was fabulous and the prices were good, they weren't unreasonable like you can get at some places and so we were very happy to spend our money there. A morning coffee and a pastry was a fine treat too! The pitches are on fields that are on a slope but they've been levelled off so you can pitch flat. This is very helpful, but one slight disadvantage was that (at least for the pitches around us) there is a layer of hardcore about 3 inches under the surface, leading to a lot of bent pegs - would recommend taking stronger than usual pegs if you have them. That said, the views from the site were beautiful, overlooking the bay, the nearby peninsula and distant Devon. Our kids and the dog had the best time ever on the beach which is easily accessible 10 mins walk from the camp. The path back is harder as you're pushing against the sand so expect to take longer and perhaps have a break for little ones. Our first time staying here, we were camping with a group of four families (8 adults, 6 children (aged 6-12) in total).|Absolutely brilliant start to finish. Booking was easy and they said they’d try to get us all camped near each other, even though we had electric hookup and the other three families didn’t.|Really friendly and helpful on arrival. We were able to camp near each other. Facilities are great. Location is great. Walk back up from the beach is a bit of a beast but the beach itself is massive, beautiful and quiet. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay. We will be back 👍👍

We had a wonderful 4 night stay here. |The customer service was fantastic, they were really accommodating of some of our requests and the pre arrival service and information was excellent. ||The site is spacious and it doesn’t feel crowded. Access down to the beach is straight out the bottom field. ||The site facilities are exceptional, the wash block was always immaculate no matter the time and we never had to wait for a shower. The best site facilities we have seen. ||Definitely recommend and will definitely be back! Thank you!

I stayed at Nicholaston farm campsite in July 2025 with my hubby, golden retriever and 3 boys. |This was only our 4th time camping but this campsite is the best one we have ever stayed at, to the point when we stay at a campsite that isn't as good we miss Nicholaston farm!|It's sooo clean! The facilities are brilliant and plenty of them, someone is always cleaning them and they are spotless.|The fridge and freezers are amazing! Loads of space for storing your food, and loads of washing up areas. The only bad thing I can say (and it's not the campsite fault lol) someone stole our freezer blocks and we couldn't take our food home. |The campshop is brilliant, loads available, the pizza 👌 highly recommend its lush! And the croissants! |Their ice cream is gorgeous, creamy and lovely on a hot day we even got a doggy ice cream from there for honey. |Stunning views and lovely walk to the beach (was a bit of a hike up the sand bunes lol but was a lovely day out). At the end of our beach day they had a dog wash for us to be able to wash our Honey who was covered in sand 😂 |There is a lovely walk from the other field (we stayed in the shop field) at the bottom along the tops of the cliffs by the beaches. |The staff were so friendly and helpful they were amazing. |We enjoyed it so much we asked to extend our trip but sadly they were fully booked.|We stayed right at the top by the Bushes along the top, we were made aware it can be noisy at times due to traffic, it can be but the views are worth it! And you get used to the noise to be far. |We don't have anything bad to say about this campsite at all and we miss it, definitely go back next year! |Also love theres a farm shop not far away that sells all sorts from local farms |Thank you so much Nicholaston farm it was a pleasure and we look forward to seeing you next year 😁

Wonderful stay at this five star campsite. Excellent check in, friendly, warm welcome from the staff. Excellent facilities. Toilets spotless and cleaned very regularly. Pitches were spacious and well marked out. I can only say positive things, thank you Nicholaston Farm for a lovely stay, we will be back.
