The restaurant was recommended by my doctor in Boston, and I really enjoyed it. I liked the European-inspired interior decor, the background music was good, the staff was attentive and seemed happy to be working there. The food was delicious, the meat had that Argentinian touch that transported me back to Buenos Aires. The service was outstanding, and they even brought us things to sample. A place to remember.

If we want to get out of the house for a special occasion, this is our place. Small, cozy, and with a very warm atmosphere. The staff is always attentive, kind, and punctual with reservations. The menu is small — and we actually love that. It says a lot about the restaurant: quality before quantity. Every dish feels specially prepared and thoughtfully done. Don’t miss the margaritas or the great selection of Argentine wines. The octopus with huancaína is amazing, and the risotto is a must. To end the night, order the crepes (if available) — they’re a real treat. Highly recommend for a special night out!

Can I leave more than 5 stars? Everything about this place was incredible. The ambiance was everything - felt like a cozy speakeasy in upstate New York. The service was the best I’ve ever experienced. Everyone checked in on us constantly not in an anxious way but so kind and inquisitive. We received so many wonderful recommendations from the staff, honestly next time I won’t even make any decisions because I fully trust what they recommend will be amazing. We split the following: crispy, creamy, octo, amatriciana, filet and chocolate bread pudding. Absolutely perfect order. The chef offered a buffalo bites amuse bouche which was incredible. The cocktails were great. I can’t wait to come back! Bravo James and Nick and the entire team 🤗

Dinner at Nicholson Muir was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. We were welcomed with delicious complimentary bites to begin and end the meal, setting the tone for a thoughtful and elevated dining experience. We ordered the homemade sourdough bread, wagyu and tuna tartare crispy bites, and shared the porterhouse steak alongside mashed potatoes, truffle fries, and mac and cheese topped with duck fat crumbs—every dish was phenomenal. The dessert was just as impressive—absolutely delicious, the perfect ending to an incredible meal. One of the most unique touches was getting to choose your own steak knife from a curated selection, and even signing the check with a pen of your choice—small details that added to the charm and exclusivity. Can’t wait to go back. Would highly recommend!

It’s always a conundrum to share an outstanding restaurant with the masses, we would obviously prefer to keep it a bit of a secret, yet want them to thrive as well. Second visit, not nearly the last. Outstanding in every way. From the moment you walk in, with the welcoming smiles, you know you’re in a special place. The food speaks for itself. Not many places in PB County compare. I put it right up with Buccan.

From the moment I stepped into the charming, refurbished old house, I was impressed. The atmosphere is bright and airy with just the right blend of historical charm and modern warmth Every bite—from delightful appetizers to the flavorful entrée—was excellent, and the chef clearly knows what they’re doing. What truly stole the show was the Key Lime Delight. Tangy, creamy, and perfectly balanced—I regretted not saving room for more! The staff deserves applause for their attentive, gracious service. Their hospitality made the experience as memorable as the food. Palm Beach has serious competition—this gem shines brightly! I’ve been raving about this place for months, so I was excited to bring friends from out of town a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately the experience felt short. Our 8:00 reservation turned into a 25 minute wait. One of my guest wanted the Parm and the other two ordered Sea Bass- five minutes later the waiter came to our table to apologetically tell us that they were out of Sea Bass, the Parm and Wagyu. It was a disappointing evening!

This restaurant is excellent! The food was very good, and I attended a tasting where we were treated like royalty. The dishes were well prepared, and the service and the entire dining experience were outstanding. My only comment is that, given the Argentine ownership, I had hoped for more beef options and a greater focus on country-style asado (Argentine barbecue). Highly recommended.

A group of us dined at Nicholson Muir last night for their multi course Sabores Eternos event. Approaching the entrance was magical, the aroma of wood fired coals and simmering food felt as if one was wondering the streets of Spain. Beautiful restaurant once inside, with monitors playing 007 Thunderball from 1965. Pretty cool. Everyone was greeted with a refreshing cocktail, until all parties were escorted to their tables. Wine was poured, and the multiple courses began. Staff was amazing, flawless presentation, however the restaurant was insanely loud. The sommelier had to speak at the top of her voice while presenting the paired wines while at tables, and still inaudible. Without going into a lot details, because the menu was in-depth (posted below) it was a very lack luster meal. I am sure the quality of ingredients were superior, the wine was paired well, but one was lucky to even get half of a traditional pour, than the glass sat empty until the next course. The portions were incredibly small, more reminiscent of a tasting menu than meal. When the main entree arrived, Paella, it was maybe 3/4 cup of rice, and we all had just 1 shrimp and 1 scallop, and sadly it was burnt. Two tables got up and left, leaving the dessert course and sherry behind. It’s clear the event ran longer than expected, checks were presented after 10:00, and at 9:45 staff was clearing tables which was quite uncomfirtable. The one thing that stood out, there was a table of friends and family of the Chef. He even sat with them, and, I know many will criticize this, I also agree there should be perks knowing the owner. However, everyone at that table enjoyed double the experience as those not in that circle. Generous food portions, generous pours, and never an empty glass. It was noticeable, and not a good look. I’d like to mention that the bill for our party of 4, with tax and tip was over $1,100, and we had to stop and eat on the way home because we were all still starving. In reference to NM’s response to this review: First off, I didn’t realize I was paying for an “experience” had I known that I’d booked a trip to Disney World, not a restaurant. It also appears you have an issues and feel belittling those that stay at Day’s Inn or shop at Walmart are somehow below you and your clientele expectations. Well.. I travel with three dogs across the country, options are sometimes limited. As far as Walmart, maybe read the entire review. I would love to share my review profiles with you for Yelp, Trip Advisor, Facebook, and Open Table where typically my reviews are more positive, along with being truthful, as with my review of your establishment. That being said, you can rest assured, I’ve posted the exact same review on all of those as here on Google of my experience at Nicholson Muir. Oh BTW, a recent AI search of Nicholson Muir seems to show many, besides myself are trending with the exact same experience as I. I’ve attached it below for reference. Lose the attitude, it’s not a good look.

Nicholson Muir Distinguished Meats stands out as something extremely different in a world of luxury steak houses and gimmicky bars. From the outside this restaurant does not seem like but that is not the case once you walk in. With a very unique blend of decor, it seems to always draw the eye to something different, from the working disco ball that lights up the bar, James Bond Movies on the TV and the tasting bar made out of a meat display case, it is just something different and I could not be happier to see that. When it comes to the starters most mimic the restaurant, small in size but pack a very strong punch. We as a table had the Jamon, Bolo and empanadas. All of which were great. Jamon was fresh with the perfect level of salt. Bolo has crunch and a great tomato sauce for paring. Lastly the empanadas which were my personal favorite with tender juicy meat filling that would rival anything you would find in the best of Miami restaurants. On to the steaks, which where cooked perfectly, I had the weekly special 30oz bone in strip with a nice medium rare and char on top it was amazing to see how they get food out of such a small kitchen so effectively. I cannot recommend this place enough for someone looking for something different. I am already looking at when I can go back to try their Omakase 15 course tasting menu (and update my review)

Great food. Attentive service small space Our table was by the window it there were some inside trees right next to the table. The Mac and Cheese was outstanding. We don't mind giving the full order during busy times. Just don't forget one of the dishes that was ordered. The cocktails were interesting other than the Felix lighter which was outstanding the others were just okay. The me so creamy was done to perfection the carpaccio delicious We want to return to try the tasting menu. It will need to be ordered within the reservation.

The only con to this restaurant is the volume level. My party and I arrived at 5:15 p.m. on a Wednesday and had the entire restaurant to ourselves until we were halfway through our Porterhouse steak. By around 7 p.m., the restaurant was completely filled, and I had to scream across the table just to be heard. The person in front of me had to do the same. For me, this completely ruined the ambiance. I didn't even order dessert, and I always order dessert. I just wanted to run out of the restaurant. For the price point, they seriously need to consider expanding to a larger venue or stop placing tables so close together. I'm 24 years old, so I'm not a curmudgeon by any means. It truly was loud. Now for the positives: I loved the purse/leftover stool. Such a thoughtful touch. The service was phenomenal. Even when the restaurant was packed, our waiter was extremely attentive and ensured we were finished before each dish was served. I had the prickly cocktail on the summer menu and was blown away by how delicious it was. I could hardly taste the alcohol, which is my favorite way to drink. The wine selection was vast, and our waiter was relatively knowledgeable and gave solid recommendations. Duck Confit: Fabulous! Honestly, the star of my meal. Asparagus: Perfectly grilled and seasoned. Porterhouse: We ordered it medium, but I wish we had ordered medium-well. Toward the bone, the meat was definitely medium-rare. Thankfully, we couldn't finish the 40 oz, so I was able to reheat it at home and bring it to medium or medium-well. The meat was tender and flavorful, but not the best steak I've ever had. I honestly preferred the seasoning and searing at Cut 432 or even Novecento. This one was a bit underseasoned and underseared for my taste. Caesar & Wedge Salad: Delicious. The lettuce was fresh and easy to cut. They didn't use the ginormous wedge leaves that make you saw away at your plate forever. The avocado was creamy, and the eggs and bacon were fantastic. This restaurant has a lot of hype and a cool origin story. We came because it was mentioned by the Michelin Guide as a spot to check out in Palm Beach County. It also warms my heart that the chef/restaurateur brought his steakhouse to a developing Boynton Beach. But I would not return. When I go to a steakhouse, I expect to feel calm, relaxed, maybe hear some light background music. Instead, it felt like a packed bar.

What an absolutely amazing dinning gem in Boynton Beach. We had a wonderful meal here, the food was phenomenal and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Even with our two little ones. This is definitely elevated dining, with a meat-centric focus. We're looking forward to returning, this is our new date-night spot!

We dined at Nicholson Muir on a Saturday night, 815 reservation. We had been looking forward to trying NM for months and finally booked it and it met, if not exceeded, our expectations. We started off at the bar and tried a few excellently crafted cocktails - the Emilio Largo and the Dr. Julius No (inspired by James Bond 007 which was playing on the TV above the bar (the Roger Moore Bond)). The intimate restaurant has a small, almost cozy footprint with a stone fireplace in the middle of the floor and cute couch next to it. There's a small outdoor deck, a hi-top center table (for larger parties?), and a number of small tables For dinner, we tried the beef empanadas with a side of green chimichurri sauce and their version of a wedge salad (with meticulously sliced avocado), both delicious. The menu has many steaks and other items like fish and pasta to choose from. At the bar, the Argentinian gentleman next to us had the veal chop, which in a flash disappeared off his plate. We tried the 6oz Petit Prime Angus Center Cut Filet which was like butter and the Japanese A5 Wagyu Strip 4oz, which was next level from even a top tier steak; it was a unique experience for sure. You can order sides separately, and we tried the creamed spinach and the shrooms, plus the french fries. With all this, we kept the red wine flowing. The entire meal was a splurge to say the least, but you only live once, maybe twice (so I can go back).

Made reservations at this spot for a birthday boy who loves steak! On arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated. Our server, Marco, was kind enough to tell us about some of the popular items on the menu and helped guide us on what to order. Ambiance-wise, the restaurant is small but comfortable with nice ambient lighting and lots of interesting decor to admire. The Me So Crispy appetizer is small but they're good bites! We went with an order of the summer special and chose a carpaccio of aged wagyu beef, the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and the softest chocolate chip cookies for dessert. I selected "birthday" for the occasion and they brought the cookies out with a candle without me even asking! Very appreciated! We also ordered the smaller filet (cooked perfectly medium) and truffle fries as well. Both of these were very good. They also threw in an amuse bouche right from the start which was their take on a pig-in-a-blanket and an extra little dessert to try which included a refreshing citrus madeleine. These small touches made the experience even better. Overall, definitely on the pricey side but everything was delicious and the few extra touches made the experience feel special.

My local steakhouse with an amazing European feel (definitely not Ruth's Chris) Modern art prints adorn the wall of this historic cottage that was moved to this location about 10 years ago, when it opened as "The Little House" which didn't survive High end meats sold in a small butcher cabinet, aged in house and in view - reminiscent of Jeff Ruby's in Cincinnati... Summer time offers a 3 course prix fixe which is amazing value Our party all went for it: my empanadas were superb, followed by pork loin with key lime pie to round it off My dinner companions both went for the beef carpaccio starter which is a standout dish from an establishment with a very clear focus on beef The service is outstanding - none of that "are you enjoying your meal" nonsense which many American establishments feel is appropriate - it's not, and please don't disturb me while I'm enjoying your exquisite food You do get what you pay for, expect $100 per person including drinks...incredible value and comparable to a $250 ticket in NY Try it for a special or any other occasion and you will definitely NOT be disappointed

A must try for a high end dining experience in Boynton Beach! This place is definitely a hidden gem with cute decor in a historic cottage! With a fairly recent liquor license, they have a fantastic bar tender with a fully stocked bar and plenty of specialty cocktails to choose from! We enjoyed a margarita and a Huckleberry Mule (daily special menu)! Everything we ate was absolutely fantastic! We were offered a free little appetizer that was basically a mozzarella stick with vodka sauce, omg yum. They need to add this to the menu permanently! We also had the empanadas (3) for an appetizer. These were really delicious with extreme depth in flavor that we loved! I had the Veal Parm which was huge and definitely the favorite dish at the table. I was hesitant to get veal at a steakhouse but the waitress mentioned it's one of the most popular items. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who like Veal and Vodka sauce. The steaks were amazing. Unfortunately they did not have the market ribeye so we got a strip steak and it was great. The blue cheese topping is definitely more like a crust than anything I've had before. I would recommend describing how you like your meat cooked because it came out a little more rare than we were expecting. The staff gladly took it back to cook it a little more and the chef came out to make sure it was to our liking! Really great service!

Revisiting my review to repeat that these are the BEST steaks I've had in PBC. And I also want to tell you that they now have a bar with phenomenal drinks. While they can make your favorite, take a look at the signature drinks. The first is the 007 (you can guess what that might be--shaken of course), but the rest are all named after and influenced by James Bond villains! My Auric Goldginger had saffron infused Hendricks gin with tonic syrup and elderflower. Can you guess what Le Chifre or Dr. No might contain ? So delicious and so very creative !

Amazing place great food staff is top notch Small bar but a great place to sit and watch

Had dinner at Nicholson Muir this evening and my Delray/Boynton Beach "Top 5" officially has a new addition! Every bite at Nicholson Muir is a treat for the palate, from Amuse-bouche to appetizers through dessert. Add a lovely ambiance, comfortable seating, and wonderful wait staff, and you have a pretty terrific dining experience. The restaurant is warm and charming, with a cozy fireplace (for those cool So. FL nights!) and a butcher shop tucked away in the back. When I first got to the restaurant the General Manager, Nick, and Chef/Owner, James, were stoking a fire outside for s'mores. While casual, you still feel you are in for a fine dining experience, from the white cloth tablecloths to the ambient lighting. And of course, they start you out with a lovely Amuse-bouche. Ours was a tasty mushroom, truffle risotto which, in all honesty, needs to be added as a regular menu item ASAP. We also could not pass up what the General Manager, Nick, called the "holiday in a bowl"; A lovely rigatoni with turkey, butternut squash, and Iberico ham. The Me-So-Crispy and Me-So-Creamy Starters were a big hit with my Niece, and the Wedge Salad was delicious. Full disclosure, I'm not the biggest steak eater. BUT, if I'm going to have a steak in Palm Beach County, it will be here. The 16 oz rib eye, brought to our table sliced for easy sharing, was melt-in-your-mouth goodness, cooked the perfect medium rare. The accompanying creamed spinach was incredibly flavorable. That same creamed spinach accompanied my grilled salmon was served with a tomato-caper-olive compote and fried capers. A literal flavor explosion in your mouth! Lemon madeleines were provided as a treat while we waited for our main desserts of flourless chocolate cake and cookies and 'cream' (cookies are hot out of the oven!). The staff is lovely. Nick took care of our table and Chef James came out to check in on our meal. Nicholson Muir is a restaurant that I will be returning to. I am especially excited to try the Lunch menu (served Friday and Saturday only) so I can work my way through the sandwich options.

Nicholson Muir Distinguished was such a great find! The service was amazing, and we loved that the chef sent out little bites throughout the meal before our main dishes--it made the experience feel extra special. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with the cozy feel of a small historic house adding so much charm. We went on a rare cold Florida night and were so happy to find a fireplace--we definitely made good use of it while waiting for our table. Definitely a hidden gem in Boynton Beach. A small, quaint, upscale without the extra, corner restaurant on Ocean Ave. We normally love ordering sandwiches for lunch but decided to dine in for dinner. I almost felt like I was in Aspen for some reason. Mind you we dined in early January, Christmas lights were still up, and guests were roasting s'mores at the wood burning fireplace inside. The service was delightful and the menu was refined and delicious. My favorites included the special Duck Pasta, cuts of Beef, and Veal Parmesan. Overall loved it and can't wait to return. Order the Espresso Martini- it includes Grappa, which was an awesome twist!

Somehow, four of us managed a bill of over $900 with tip. We ordered high end steaks, bluefin tuna app, lots of cocktails. The drinks were great as was the atmosphere- you feel like you're in a small ski house with a wood burning fire. Steaks were poorly cooked- no sear. No crust. Rare- not medium rare as ordered. Way too expensive to not be cooked perfectly.

As a Boynton beach local, I've never been to a restaurant like this in our area. It's such a cozy, intimate, and inviting restaurant. The service is unmatched! They are attentive and very helpful. The food was phenomenal. We felt like it was a real dinner experience we haven't had in a long time. So happy we found this gem!

One of the best Steakhouse Restaurants we have in South Florida. Food was excellent,Service was very professional, ambience can be cozy and romantic or large center table for a small group .

Outstanding steakhouse. We each had a filet mignon and they were perfectly prepared-medium rare. The accompanying sauces added tremendous flavor to the dish. Started with the wedge salad and the sourdough bread. Both excellent. Service was very professional and added greatly to the experience.Definitely highly recommend this restaurant. We'll be returning soon.

The food was outstanding. The service was excellent and the ambiance was very pleasant. Overall it was a wonderful evening.

If you want to enjoy a cafe style lunch in a serene atmosphere with delicious food, this is the place to dine. The service was also friendly and quick. I ordered their Ronnie Raccoon sandwich, and though I did not ask why it was called that, it was very good. It had an ample amount of fresh shaved ham with melted cheese and a wonderful aoli with pickle pieces mixed it. My sandwich cost was $11.00, and it came with a bag of kettle chips. Perfect to go lunch if you are not able to dine in. From order to exit, it was less than 10 minutes. The people dining inside had delicious food in front of them, and I am looking forward to returning to try other menu items. Parking is easy as they have a private lot. Inside, they have a few large communal tables to dine with friends or meet people while you are there. I will definitely be back!

Went here to continue celebrating my wife's bday in Florida and OMG this place just does everything so damn well. Food was amazing (beef carpaccio in my opinion a must as well as the dry aged by strip and splurge for the truffles on top and for fish lovers the bass is perfect!! ) my steak had a just a small hint of smokiness which I was told was part of their cooking technique as well as grilling it. So good!! Service was extremely attentive and helpful (Seth our server was great) Nick the chef was also so awesome. He came over Introduced himself to us and him and I had some good talks later about meats. The decor of the place was so light and pretty and had an elegant beach feel to it. Kudos to the entire staff for making it a perfect night. FYI the restaurant is tiny and I highly recommend a reservation. They serve beer and wines (no full bar).

One of the best restaurants in south Florida. Service is incredible, food is outstanding and the ambience is just something you don't find these days. An absolute staple and must try. Nothing like it in the palm beach area.

Like another Yelp reviewer I also found the menu to be overpriced (especially for lunch), but the food and service are VERY good. I knew there was attitude (not from any employees, but the place in general) when I discovered you must put down $25 per person to make a LUNCH reservation! Then when I ate there on a Friday at 12:45, there was only one other table of guests. Now for the good parts: Walking in, it's very charming and lovely ... small, with limited seating. Our server told us that the dining room is full during dinners. I can believe that as the food critic for The Palm Beach Post named it the best new restaurant of 2023 for the entire PB County. We first ordered the [ME-SO-CRISPY] Crispy Potato Pave, American Wagyu Steak Tartare, Sriracha Aioli and Crispy Rice, Spicy Tuna Tartare, Avocado, Jalapeño. They were beautifully presented, but just four bites between the two of us took care of that plate! Small, but mighty in flavor! The steak tartare was my favorite, but honestly they were both fresh and bright. (I stupidly ate my half before taking photos, but I got photos of the remainder of the meal.) I wish bread had been offered as I was still so hungry after those two delightful bites. For my main meal I ordered the appetizer of foie gras torchons on crispy wafers. They were lovely to look at, and the figs served alongside were wonderful. Really good. Such a smart combination. I also had the crispy shoestring fries that came with lime aioli. I like most any French fry if it comes with aioli, but these were crispy as advertised and well seasoned. I immediately asked for salt as is my custom (none was on table), and server Nick told me to taste them first. Lesson learned! My friend's "rare to medium rare" ribeye steak ($58 with not so much as a leaf served alongside) came out medium to medium well. I insisted he send it back ($58 after all!). Nick agreed and was so professional, and huge props to a restaurant that allows you to keep the overcooked steak while awaiting the new one. Just because it wasn't how you wanted it for your meal that day doesn't mean it won't make a super steak sub with mayo and melted cheese the next day (or for your dogs). The asparagus my friend ordered was way better than I expected. I made a face when he ordered asparagus, but I was stupid. Possibly the best asparagus I've ever had, especially dipped into my aioli! The new rarer steak came to the table and all was well. For dessert they offer three choices. The flourless chocolate cake was as good as it looked -- like rich, deep, dark chocolate. Not too sweet at all, which was nice. Lastly, I ordered the empanadas to take home. The food critic for The PB Post had mentioned how they're made there and are excellent. I was pleasantly surprised that they were $14 for three of them! Creamed spinach too. Wow, I thought! Well, although they were crispy and flavorful, they are the smallest empanadas you've ever seen. I went to eat just one in the car and ate all three -- on the way home from lunch. Yep, I did. Someone on here mentions a steak sandwich for lunch, but that wasn't on my menu. No specials were mentioned when I was there. I wish they had a few offerings at lower prices. It's way out of reach for most people (certainly me!), and that's a shame. Nick (our server but also a manager) couldn't have been more professional and accommodating. Bringing the bill inside a marrow bone is a cute touch, too. Oh, and there are beautiful dry-aged steaks in a display case. Not too many markets have Japanese A5 Wagyu available. If you're well off, race down to Nicholson Muir! Otherwise, peek in the windows and weep.

Absolutely the best steaks in Boynton and Delray. We don't want it to get too crowded in there, but they absolutely deserve to be recognized. My husband is very picky and even pickier with how his steaks are. If he says it's great, you can bet it's great. We've come here a few times and have never been disappointed with the food and experience. My husband has tried a lot of the steaks and have never been disappointed. I've had the nigiri and sea bass, absolutely perfect every time. I daresay, the seabass has been one of the best I've had in the area. We are both such big fans of Muir. They know their meats, service is impeccable, the chef is out of this world! We can't wait to come back again and again. It's our perfect place for date nights!

Hidden Gem! Food, service and ambiance top notch. Quiet place for meetings and love the oak wood high top table to dine at. Has good parking and if you value what you pay for and receive, this is the place to dine and hang at. Been coming here since they opened and Hope they keep their standards as is for years to come.

You deserve this. If you can score a reservation you owe it to yourself to experience this gem. This restaurant does not have a bad item. The steaks are superior to anything on Palm Beach or NYC. The fish is perfection, great crust, not overdone, tender and plentiful filet. If you are deciding between the French fries and mashed potatoes choose fries, the oil us suoer clean and they are crispy and great portion. Burrata salad with fresh sliced prosciutto is life changing. Splurge on the chocolate chip cookies for dessert. The staff and owner/chef are delightful, knowledgeable people. They serve lunch and dinner, you have no excuse, put thus on you list.

Returned after 1 year and still fabulous. Three of us shared wedge salad (delicious), crispy fries (excellent), creamed spinach (too spicy) and a 16 oz prime rib eye which they kindly sliced for us. Steak cooked perfect medium rare and the most tender steak I have ever eaten!! Also served us 2 amuse bouches. Service good but could have been better. Would have liked a Mai Tai or Painkiller cocktail but they could not make any Caribbean style cocktail.

I've have been coming here since they opened. Beautiful decor and phenomenal food. Everything I've eaten there is off the charts great. It is a must for anyone in South Florida that appreciates good food.

The restaurant is nice and uniquely decorated and the service was very good and I was really looking forward to dining here but just found everything to be way below average or simply awful and with the favorable reviews I was just expecting better. The small thinly sliced two piece Waygu nigiri appetizer was overkill with too much sauce covering the Waygu and does good steak really need to be covered up and have the flavor hidden like it was served here? Empanada appetizers reminded me of frozen food and what was interesting was how burning hot they were and they arrived at the table very soon after ordering. I'm not sure if they were microwaved but I am sure that they were not freshly prepared. An expensive steak was forgettable and I didn't bother eating much and at the price charged I thought I would get an excellent or at least good steak but unfortunately it wasn't. The steak was tough and chewy and after a few bites I just stopped eating it. We tried other items and they were also disappointing and perhaps we had the misfortune of dining on an off night. A very off night. A bottle of wine was good and as mentioned so was the service (and for that reason it's two stars not one) but those are the only favorable things I can say about this restaurant.

Hidden gem. I had no idea what I was walking into. I had always thought this place was a permanently closed butcher. The ambiance was intimate, with a cozy charm that made it feel like a well-kept secret. It reminded me of a restaurant in Comporta Portugal The attention to detail in the decor and table settings added an extra layer of elegance. Service was perfect. Every interaction felt sincere and genuine. Mgr had vast knowledge of wine and it was apparent wines were curated to complement dishes. Food was fantastic. This would be a perfect date night location. Once people realize this place is here... it's going to take off. Which makes me hesitant to post this.

It's a really nice setting with a unique decor and a Menu that keeps improving in diversity. Service is impeccable. I enjoyed Lunch there and opted for their Burger Special featuring two aged beef perfectly cooked burgers and fries. The staff was attentive and very concerned that I was pleased with my meal. I will return for dinner to try one of their specially aged streaks which are available from the in-house butcher shop if you're interested in purchasing.

First time here . Was greeted with a smile and was told to sit anywhere we wanted. Our server was pleasant friendly and very attentive. We ordered some wine. We ordered the grilled scallops and we ordered the ribeye with french fries and brussels sprouts. everything was just amazing and it had a different flavor that just popped. Love the whole experience love the vibe everybody there was actually kind of singing to the casual music they had playing. It wasn't loud or too crowded. It was just perfect. I highly recommend checking out this place. A+

If you're not paying attention you could easily pass by this charming little restaurant. My wife and I stopped in to look at this little restaurant / butcher shop a week prior and had a nice conversation with the owner. He was very kind, and took a few minutes to tell us about the restaurant and the meats that are available to purchase. We were so impressed with the our conversation and the general vibe of this hidden gem of a restaurant, that my wife insisted we come back to sit and eat the following week. We returned as promised this week and we were pleased with the experience we had. First we selected a very nice bottle of chardonnay and the charcuterie board for two to start. The wine paired very well with the mixed board of meats, cheeses, and candied walnuts. For our meal, we ordered the steak and frites. We selected a nice market price 16 ounce American wagyu ribeye steak. When the steak arrived everything was cooked to perfection. The steak was delicious, and the frites were so good my wife and I thought they were cooked old school style in beef fat, but we were wrong, they were in fact cooked in vegetable oil. The whole thing was accompanied with a nice arugula salad. For the money, Nicholson Muir Distinguished Meats is hard to beat. You have a choice of several types and cuts of fine beef to choose from, along with fish and chicken options that also sounded worthy of a return meal in the future. If you're in Boynton Beach and you're hungry for good food my wife and I highly recommend Nicholson Muir...

My boyfriend invited his family and me for an early Father's Day dinner here tonight. Let me tell you- everything we ate had spectacular flavors! It is very pricey but for a special occasion it is worth every penny! The steaks were fabulous and cooked to perfection! We had several appetizers- each more amazing than the next, their sauces for the steaks are an explosion of yumminess in Your mouth! We highly recommend this restaurant!!

Great service, nice atmosphere, ridiculously overpriced dinner items that are poorly prepared. Japanese Wagyu was blackened when ordering rare/medium rare and the fish tasted frozen and microwaved. Appetizers are insultingly small for the price (which would be fine if they had any flavor or other noteworthy qualities).

Adorable house like feel with the best steaks and service. We had the provolone appetizer, caesar salad, waygu NY strip and the flourless chocolate cake. If I were to rate it-- 10/10. Would highly recommend!

I've been here for dinner and lunch. Steak was good for dinner, but I can't stop thinking about the cheesesteak sandwich for lunch. Wow, it was something special. Friendly service and convenient location. Looking forward to our next visit.

Went there for age steak They didn't have any. It only had six bottles of red wine to pick from. It's definitely not a true steakhouse. Would not recommend this place.

Tasty tasty tasty! Besides the excellent range of meat available at this butcher shop, varying from dry aged strip to A5 Wagyu ribeye, their menu options are great. I had their cutlet sandwich and their steak sandwich and have vowed to make this place a new habit of mine.

I was a little disappointed with the $22 burger at Sunday lunch. The salt level was off the charts, the bun went instantly soggy, and the fries were horrible--hard and not hot. And no, I don't mean "crisp but tender on the inside," they were hard through and through. I probably would have been happier with a simple cold sandwich. I think the others enjoyed their salads. Everyone who works here is exceptionally friendly and nice, and the renovation of the building is beautiful.

You might easily pass this one by...but you shouldn't. Excellent food, attentive waitstaff, all in an unassumingly elegant interior. Just a lovely night out.

I had lunch there two times. I had the pastrami sandwich which was the best pastrami I've ever had. Extremely tender and the french fries were fantastic too. The second time I had the empanadas and the shishito peppers. Once again they were fantastic. The place is extremely clean and the decor is welcoming. Service was great too. Can't wait to go back for dinner next week!

Very very nicely done dining experience. Started with extra cold sparkling wine, empanadas, foi gras and then had the most remarkable bacon, frites, and a top tier steak sandwich and wonderful strip steak Everything was just right to our taste and among the best ever for us. Panquques for dessert hit a light note. We had a wonderful time. Back soon.

Beautiful interior, very tasty food, and friendly staff. We had the salad, the waygu nigiri, and a chicken sandwich, all delicious. Definitely recommend!
