We arrived an hour before the restaurant officially opened, but decided to wait – and we don’t regret it for a second! The food was absolutely fantastic – fresh seafood prepared with great care, perfectly complemented by excellent wine. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. Great staff, especially the amazing young waitress with short black hair, who was very kind to the children, which we really appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful experience during our holiday!

We had a wonderful evening! The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, especially with the seaside view. The mezes, mussels, and especially the stuffed calamari were delicious. We also loved the meat-topped fava. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Kos! Ευχαριστούμε πολύ!

In a city full of tourist traps and aggressive waiters, I finally found a hidden gem — a psarotaverna serving fresh fish! Greek music playing softly in the background, the scent of the sea, and a perfectly grilled catch of the day — what more could you want from a Greek holiday? This little restaurant is tucked away just outside the center of Kos, between cocktail bars. I had almost given up hope of finding real fish here, but this place proved me wrong. The waiter will recommend the fresh fish available that day, and you’re served delicious spreads for the bread — everything is full of authentic flavor. It’s also one of the few places where you can get genuine boiled greens (horta), which were amazing. The fish was simply delicious, and even the beer was local. Pure joy! 🇬🇷🐟 I’ll definitely be back. The only tiny downside: even after such a lovely feast, we didn’t receive a complimentary dessert or a shot of ouzo, which is something we’ve come to expect in Greece. Still, it’s absolutely worth visiting. And it’s not that expensive!

All the dishes we ordered were fantastic, except for the fried calamari, which was a bit rubbery, and it took 45 minutes just to get a salad on the table. The atmosphere was amazing, right by the sea—easily the best spot I visited during my Kos vacation. Although it was the most expensive restaurant among the ones we tried, it was totally worth it. The only downside was that most of the staff could have been more polite, as their attitude felt a bit off. That said, I’d like to set the owner apart from the rest—he was attentive and cheerful, and really made a difference in our experience.

When I wasn't satisfied with the seafood at the hotel, I started looking into the famous seafood restaurants in Kos, and based on many reviews, I chose Nick’s Place. It’s a charming tavern with flawless service. The octopus is prepared using the traditional Greek island method of sun-drying, which, if you're not accustomed to, can feel quite chewy and salty. It was made according to tradition, but perhaps they could consider a marinade before serving. The tuna tartare, in my opinion, could use a bit more refinement. Using specific cuts suitable for tartare when filleting the tuna ensures it doesn’t become chewy. The sardines were well-cooked but felt slightly overdone inside, which could possibly be due to the October season. The calamari was also something I expected to be a bit more varied on the grill; it came off a bit plain to me. However, their fish soup was excellent. I highly recommend trying it when you visit.

Good seafood and even better appetizers. First time visited this place. It has a good location and traditional cuisine. Service was good and even we needed to wait and it felt slow in the beginning, once we were seated and made our order they were taking good care of us. My favorites were smoked herring and zucchini staffed flower. Staffed calamari was also delicious but after all food maybe it was too much, should be ordered separately as a main dish. I can’t comment on the main courses, didn’t order it. Also to go with the traditional dishes maybe would be better to have different traditional baked bread. And I would like to highlight the prices (very good) and the bill presentation (coming in a ship).

Service is very good. I especially liked the shrimp with garlic and sardines, they were fresh and deliciously cooked. Not very much the zucchini balls as they were deeply fried. The staff is friendly and the service is quick.

The food was good, the presentation was also. The waiters were frendly but the service was a little slow. When you go there you should not plan to eat and takeoff in 45 min. But if u have enough time than it would be enjoyable. The place is next to beach you can hear the music of two beaches at the same time which might be a little annoying. Overall it is a place that must be sern
