Had a great experience at Nick’s Shoe Repair! I went in to get a strap fixed on my Birkenstocks, and while they were working on it, they noticed the sole needed to be replaced to do the repair properly. They ended up replacing the soles on both shoes — for free. Super friendly, timely, and went above and beyond. Really appreciate their service!

Google
Fabulous experience. Nick repaired a pair of vintage Channel ballet flats and scotch guarded some white suede designer sneakers. Fast turnaround and super nice family business. I was recommended to him by Mahdi in the Nordstrom designer shoe department and she was right - he’s the best!

This was my first time going to Nick's Shoe Repair. He is knowledgeable, nice and courteous. Excellent craftsmanship. Fast and friendly service. All of these things describe their services. My toddler destroyed his brand new dress shoes within 3 wears. Nick's Shoe Repair restored my toddlers dress shoes to like new condition. Definitely recommend Nick's for your repair needs.

I only gave nicks two stars because he had done acceptable work in the last. However, I will never go back. He yelled at my husband to repair the shoe himself. We have returned four times to get a shoe repaired.and it never was completed. Arrogance such as this was unacceptable. There are too many other good shoe repair places to go to. Sorry Nick, you should be courteous to your customers.

Need shoe, luggage, any leather goods repair? Go to Nicks Shoe Repair. Enthusiastic recommendation. Nicks been in business for over 4 decades. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 20 years. Great quality work, very fair pricing and good people. Re-soled/heals shoes come out better than new. Nick just repaired my high quality leather weekend bag..and now it’s better than new. Highly recommended! You won’t go elsewhere, once you try Nicks.

They were really nice to me. Family business. I am happy with the service that they did on my shoes.

My wife took a pair of my son's Johnston and Murphy loafers in to get repaired. She had a connversation with Nic and he asked her if our son was on the east coast because the shoes had mud on them. My wife replied "No, he was just at a local party". She lost her ticket, and now Nic and staff can't find his shoes. I went in, after my wife went in 3 times, and the service was shocking. Almost obstinate. The lesson is if you have a very busy life, and lose your ticket.... good luck!

This place called called Nick’s boot and shoe repair in San Ramon is an awesome and amazing family owned business. They are very professional and very compassionate. I brought some belts that needed some opening. They opened them without charging me . Again today I brought my daughters sandals for repair, I asked for an express service to pick it up the same day, the owner granted it without extra charge. Thank you Nicks and family for all you do to serve our community. You are showing the light of God in you . I appreciate you. Thank you again. I will be supporting your business because you deserve it . God’s blessings always.

Yelp
Nick's talent has continued to amaze me for over 15 years. He repaired my vantage purses and exceeded my expectations on bringing them back to life. I didn't fully realize the amazing hand tooling on these purses. Over the years I have asked him to repair and/or add features, like inside zipper pockets, and he has always been able to fulfill my challenging requests. Thank you Nick and your wonderful team.

Yelp
Fabulous experience. Nick repaired a pair of vintage Channel ballet flats and scotch guarded some white suede designer sneakers. Fast turnaround and super nice family business. I was recommended to him by Mahdi in the Nordstrom designer shoe department and she was right - he's the best! His prices are also very reasonable.

Yelp
Great service with fast turn around and friendly family that always has very fair prices. I've had everything from leather shoes to luggage zippers fixed there and always so happy with the work. This kind of family business is becoming more rare. Let's give them our business! Doesn't hurt that they love to talk Disney too.

Yelp
I had my mothers shoes fixed at Nick's Shoe repair, the dedication to the repair was wonderful. My mother is in her 90s and buying her new shoes is not as good as getting the old ones fixed. She loved these shoes and really appreciated the repair was done beautifully. Thank you Nick.

Yelp
I broke a strap on my leather miu miu sandals last month when somebody stepped on the back portion of my shoe and it snapped while I was raising my foot. When I was mourning, the beautiful and overpriced shoe, my partner recommended Nick's shoe repair. I didn't bother looking at Yelp because he said that he went there before. Since I was going, I brought another pair of shoes to get resoled. Are usually go to a Alamo to get my shoes fixed but this was a recommendation from my partner so I thought that I could believe him. At the shoe repair store, I was quoted $70 to fix both shoes $45 for the strap and resold and $25 to resole just the back heel for my wedges that had a very tiny back sole. Today, I pick up my shoes and noticed that the wedge is damaged on the inside part near the toe and that damage wasn't there when I dropped it off. Also, when I get my shoes fixed in Alamo or in Walnut Creek at A-1 shoe repair, they always do a better job than this place in San Ramon. Unfortunately, I am not going to get another pair of shoes repaired here. I wish I read the yelp reviews before hand.

Yelp
Nick's saved my Tory Burch bag. The last time I took it on vacation, the buckle broke off. I got the matching buckle replaced, along with the snap, very impressed. I've had this bag lying around to be repaired for months and I'm relieved to finally have it done so I can use it! I have also taken shoes here to get repaired or stretched out. No issues!

Yelp
Went in to get the leather on the zipper of my bag repaired. The man asked me if I wanted the color loss on the bag fixed for an extra fee. I said sure. He said it would be ready for pick up in six days. I came back to pick it up and it wasn't ready. I waited six more days and when I came to pick up they hadn't fixed the leather piece that fell off, they replaced it with a dirty pen marked uneven scrap. The bag looked exactly the same, no color difference. The lady was very rude and said she conditioned it. I told her it would have been nice if they let me know, it wasn't even my idea to do that service and then they couldn't do it. She said she did her best and charged me anyway and was unapologetic.

Yelp
Nick is friendly, professional, does great work and was on time! He has been in business for a very long time and his level of professionalism shows.

Yelp
I love Nick's Shoe Repair for his excellent work. I have shoes that are over 40 years old that I baby because I wear a woman's shoes sized 3.5 or 4. Since extra small shoes are becoming harder to find, I have to preserve my shoes. Nick has saved so many of the old shoes I still love. He was a great recommendation from a friend of mine. So happy to have a skilled craftman who has saved many of my precious shoes.

Yelp
Where do I even begin from. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE I'VE COME ACROSS!!!!! If you're reading this please don't waste your time and money to go to this store. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED! I really wish I would have read the reviews on here before going. I took a pair of my Christian Louboutin to fix. To be exact one pair of my suede boots had a broken zipper. I took the boots to the owner and he said he will be able to fix and to come back on Saturday and pick them up. I thought great! Local business near my house, no problem! Saturday comes around I go to pick up my boots, and there was this man working there, (not the owner) he brings the boots and nothing is fixed. Let me remind you, I needed my boots for the thanksgiving weekend. I ask why it's not fixed he says I don't know the owner isn't here and he can only tell you. At this point I'm thinking ok, I've given them 5 days to fix the boots, here I am standing looking at my brand new boots damaged like it was just thrown in the back somewhere. I asked the guy working why do my boots have all this dirty materials on it and he decides to yelling and giving me attitude. At this point I'm just in shock! I'm looking at this guy and he's giving me attitude and being rude while I'm the customer standing there with my $1200 boots not fixed and treated like absolute garbage. I finally take a step back and ask the guy to calm down and to tone down his attitude. I asked for the owners number and this point he's not giving me the number nor his name. I literally had to stand there and waste 20 mins of my time to explain to him what customer service should be like. He's still standing there yelling and making it seem like I'm at fault! So he finally gives me the number and not his name. I call and leave a voicemail and of course never get a call back. Monday comes around I call and the owners wife picks up and she hands over the phone to her husband ( the owner) and oh boy! Was I in for a surprise. He goes yeah well we can't fix your boots and yeah it's my fault for not grabbing your number but we can't fix it. I go ok, well you could have let a note with the boots for when I came on Saturday to know why my boots were not fixed. Also your employee treated me very disrespectfully. The owner goes, do not talk about my employee he's been working here for 20 years and he knows how to deal with people like you! People like me?! Excuse me?! At the point he's just going on and on about his business and he goes you know what why don't you come and pick up your boots and just hangs up the phone on me! I was in ABSOLUTE SHOCK!! I can't believe that there are people like him running a business for this long! He is a miserable man, definitely not enjoying what he does for living because if he did he would never speak to a client who's paying HIM to run his business. Not only that, but is that how you speak to a woman?! No respect nor decency at all. I picked up my boots from him today and made sure he knew that he will be getting this lovely review from me! I will make sure everyone knows how you treat customers that come and support you! Please, I request you not to support this man. Thanks to him my $1200 boots are damaged and also ruined my holiday weekend.

Yelp
Great service every single time. I've been going to this place for over 20 years and they are so reliable. They go above and beyond and my shoes come out looking brand spanking new every time. I honestly think they work some magic there! Seriously just when I think a pair of designer shoes is kaput, they breathe new life back into them.

Yelp
The woman behind the counter, which I assume is the owners wife, has absolutely no "People" skills ! She looks as though she's not happy to be there. Very matter-of-fact and when they did take my shoes in to have them stretched and went to pick them up they weren't stretched enough so they kept them and tried again. When I went to pick them up because I needed them for an occasion that evening, there was a sign on the door saying they were closed for a period of time!? so I called day after day and no call back. I encountered other people that were there also to pick up shoes and were very frustrated because they needed multiple pairs of shoes for a soccer game that evening ! So the two of us were calling the owner trying to find out what's going on because it is past the date that they were going to be closed and yet no one's answering a phone...!? So I was without said shoes for weeks! When I finally picked them up, she had absolutely nothing to say about the delay and \or miscommunication about their hours! She acted like she couldn't care less. Plus the charge for stretching shoes was pretty ridiculous! I can't imagine what a repair would cost!? Used to be a good business. The woman behind the counter leaves a very poor first impression!

Yelp
Save yourself the time and your product from getting totally damaged. When I took my LV cabin suitcase to get its handle fixed, the repairman said he will evaluate and call me with an estimate, after 10 days I called to check on and was told I can come and get it in 4 days on Friday. When I showed up he had not done anything to the bag and said he ordered special screws to attach the handle and that he'd get back to us when it was done. Another 10 days go by and we didn't hear, so went by again to check on it and I could not believe my eyes. His fix was to drill a screw through the handle. My expensive bag is totally destroyed, looks like trash. This guy has no regard for his work or the quality of it. On top of it all he charged me $40 for the dispicible work he did. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else.

Yelp
Nick just repaired 2 pairs of shoes plus a 100 year old leather jacket and did BEAUTIFUL work on all!! Could not have asked for more - nor trusted anyone else with the jacket my grandma's brothers had made for her in 1924 for her 16th birthday. His patch work of a tear and repairs were amazing!! It's being passed to my daughter on its 100 year anniversary in March. Cannot thank him enough for the care and suggestions he made to preserve it. 5 stars are not enough imo.

Yelp
I had two pairs of red bottoms that needed repair - one had a broken strap and Nick was able to fix them both without any issues! Thanks for such great service!

Jeff S.

Yelp
Great service! I took my motorcycle boots to them since one of them had about a 3 inch tear in the seam above the heel. The other one had the inside plastic heel piece coming loose. They double stitched the one boot and repaired the plastic heel piece in the other, along with polishing both boots. I picked them up and the boots looked brand new, with both repaired to the point I couldn't tell they had ever been "broken". And the total cost was only $35! He said the insoles were pretty worn and that I could return sometime later to have that done, but I went ahead and had them replace both insoles. That was an extra $25. Any ways, I am very happy with their service and the results.

Yelp
I've gone to Nick's for many years. If you deal directly with Nick, and he personally works on your shoes, it's fantastic. But, the woman in the front is not customer friendly. She cleaned a pair of sandals and did a poor job. Next time I'll deal directly with Nick.

Yelp
We found a shoe repair shop that survived the Pandemic. I assume the friendly gentleman that greeted us in was Mr. V the owner. He asked how he could help us and I explained that I had on a synthetic belt that needed one more hole drilled because I bought it a little too big for my high waisted jeans. He agreed and asked if I wanted maybe one more and hubbs agreed, he promptly took it behind the counter less than a minute and reappeared with it perfectly spaced. He stated "no charge". Thank God there was a tip jar, which we happily contributed to. We have some goods that need repaired: hubbs Italian dress shoes resoled, 2 synthetic hand purses w/weak loops attached to the straps, a leather wallet needing re-stitching near the seam rip, and possibly luggage. I am so thankful that this family kept its doors open. We are grateful customers and will become regulars. Thank you Mr. V!!

Reema D.

Yelp
I did not check the Yelp reviews, but wanted to give this place a chance because it's a small business and I wanted to support it. Downright rude service, the owner was rude to my teen daughter. Not only that, we went to get the shoe on Tuesday when it was supposed to be ready the day before, and they still hadn't started fixing the sole. They had the shoe for a few days already. They asked us to come back in an hour. We went two hours later and the shoe was still not ready! On top of that, the lady behind the counter was rude also. Not many shoe repair places around but next time I'd rather drive further and get better service.

Yelp
Nick's Shoe Repair is the best! He repairs all of my shoes and the quality is excellent and his prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Nick's Shoe Repair!

Yelp
Good work, reasonably priced and a great turnaround time. I'd have them work with us again on shoes and more luggage.

Yelp
I love Nick's. They have repaired so many of my shoes and jackets over the years. Always reliable and timely.

Kelly P.

Yelp
My husband has been going to this place for years to get his shoes repaired. I came in with a question on repairing my shoe for Nick, the owner was extremely rude, even talking down to me. The owner's wife is polite but he is extremely rude. No one should ever be talked to that way, especially a customer. Shame on you!!! Talking down to women. I don't care he's been in business 40 years. Awful. Time to retire. My husband and I will never come back to this shoe repair store again! Plenty of other shoe repair places we can use besides they have terrible hours and they overcharge their customers.

Karen K.

Yelp
I'm surprised this man is still in business. Not only did he ruin my shoes but he was verbally abusive. Don't go here. Try Alamo Shoe repair or A-1 in Walnut Creek.

Rachel L.

Yelp
Believe the negative reviews as I didn't unfortunately. Nick was confrontational and snapped when you asked questions. He did not take the time to explain any processes and was rude, condescending and arrogant. As others have stated, he raises his voice to try to intimate when you question his tactic. It's true. Either way, he didn't provide good customer service and lacked respect for others. Don't let him try to hold your items unnecessarily. Came in for a quote and he tried to hold on to my item saying it would take days for a quote. Hard pass.

Diana T.

Yelp
Horrible service - broke my shoe while repairing and still wanted to charge me! He kept arguing and wouldn't budge.

Jack A.

Yelp
I love this place and I have been going there for more than 20 years. Nick and Debbie are great, and most importantly they do a great job. Now I recently have moved from San Ramon to Concord, but I will still take my shoes (or whatever) Nick. While I am Basque, I always feel Italian when I go in and talk to Nick. By the way, probably like many people I am missing Rolls, which was in the same shopping center.
google avatar

Jack C.

Yelp
I've had a few pairs of shoe soles replaced here. I when in and ask if they could re-glue the bottom of a pair that stated to come apart. Owner said no, needs a new some. Soles are not wore out. I will take a business elsewhere from now on. He was also very rude.
google avatar

Kevin G.

Yelp
Nick did a great job fixing expensive women's shoes and was able to repair an LV purse when the LV store refused to do it. You won't find better craftmanship in this area, and his prices are very fair. Wish I had found him years ago.

Kathleen N.

Yelp
Oh my goodness. I have had the worst experience that I've ever had at any establishment. Nick raised his voice and yelled at me. I mean truly yelled at me. I brought a pair of shoes in last week to have them lowered from 100 mm to 85 mm. Nick said he could do it. When I came back to pick them up, I was given the shoes and I gave them two other pair of shoes to have the same thing done. When I got home at open the bag I see that the shoes were only lowered one quarter of an inch. They were 3 and 3/4 inch. They were supposed to be lowered from 4 in to 3 in. No one told me that at the time that he could not do it. When I pick the shoes up, I also gave them two more of my other shoes to have the same thing done. No one told me they could not do that, instead they took the other two pair and I paid for all three pair at that time. I brought the shoes back on Tuesday and pointed out that they were 3 and 3/4 in high Not 3 inches. Nick said to me well I didn't see you last time and I can't do it because there is metal in the heel. The red portion of the bottom of the heel was also cut. I asked Nick if he had to cut that to lower the heel. He said he didn't cut it. He said You cut it you brought it in cut. I told him I've never cut the heel of my shoes. He got very irate and yelled at me. I asked him if I could have my other shoes back. I would never use his establishment. I would even say stay away from this man. He has a terrible, volatile temper. He's just ruined a very nice pair of shoes, Christian Louboutin. Believe other reviewers. Nick's work is subpar. But the worst thing about his business is just what others have experienced, Nick is confrontational, and snaps before thinking. Very frightening. I wonder if he would act the same way if I were a man? He is a bully.

Nina S.

Yelp
Do not recommend for any high price items as a pair of brand new $500 boots are ruined and the damage done by the shoemaker was ignored. Also very rude. I took a pair of brand new leather boots here to put on a protective sole. I warned the shoe repairman ahead of time that the leather on the boots was very soft and to be careful. He acknowledged that. When I came to pick up my boots and started to inspect when in front of him, I noticed some scratches and the front of one of the boots the leather was no longer smooth, but tough and different textured as if they were rubbed with something. Mind you the boots were brand new out of the box never worn. I pointed it out to him he said that I brought the boots to him like that. I reminded him that they are brand new boots that were never worn before and that I asked him to be careful with them. He was very rude as I was also upset since my boots were ruined. They did not look the same anymore when all I came in for was protective soles... the leather was not supposed to be any different. When I asked for a refund or something done he told me that they are cheap boots and that I brought them to him like that and no refund will be issued.

Samantha P.

Yelp
I brought my cowgirl boots to Nick after thrashing them. He made them look brand new! It was like my own personal Christma!

Yelp
I needed to get my work boots shined and resurfaced. I had some Danner boots which had a full finish but needed shining. The woman in front was extremely helpful and nice with accommodating my timeframe. Went in on a Tuesday and my shoes were available on Friday. Pricing was very reasonable and the shoes turned out really nice. I would highly recommend this business and would use them again for my shoe repair needs!
google avatar

Johnny T.

Yelp
Always the best. I am surprised by the people who have left negative reviews. I suppose in this world of disposable goods, the quality and craftsmanship found at Nick's is lost upon the 'entitled' 'right now' consumer base. There is nothing fancy or exciting about Nick's. There is no substitute for him and his work is rapidly becoming a lost art. For those of us that own quality shoes or take pride in whatever garments we own, we know that there is no finer place than Nick's for a sound repair or a first rate shine.

Yelp
Overall 3.5 out of 5 stars (rounded up to 4 stars), I would have given this place a higher rating only because I had to come by multiple times to see if my item was done yet. The item in question was a leather produce knife holster which only needed to be resewn. I originally dropped my item on Friday and the quote was under $20 and he said it'll be done the next day Saturday. I actually stopped by the following Monday to see if it was done, it wasn't. He then said it'll be done later that afternoon, but I opted to try pick it on Tuesday and again it wasn't done. He then said the same thing stating it'll be done later that afternoon, I still opted to pick it the next day. Wednesday comes by, I stop by mid/late morning and he says sorry and says it isn't done, but stops what he's doing and then re-sew my leather holster. He apologizes and then offers to put on a leather moisturizer for free. When he's done, he says it's free for my inconvenience!! While I love free stuff, a lot of time was wasted just by driving out back and forth but I did appreciate the effort in making me happy and the repair looks great!!

Yelp
BEST SERVICE EVER!!!!! I COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS ENOUGH! I have been coming here for over 10 years and every time I have come no matter if it's for a belt, purse, shoe or even suitcase. Nick has handled my request with the utmost professionalism, kindness and care!
google avatar

Yelp
Love Nick's shoe repair. Very reliable Honest too - they tell you when a shoe can't be repaired rather than just taking it & slapping on an extra sole & more glue.

Torres F.

Yelp
Baseball Glove Relacing I found my 30+ year old high school baseball glove and it was in desperate need of being relaced. I dropped it off and it was done within the week for $45. The kit alone if I dared to relace it myself would have run $15, so this was a great deal for me.

Sanam G.

Yelp
I've dropped off a couple of items (shoes and purse) at Nick's shop. He is super friendly, courteous, and accommodating. I'm very satisfied with how professionally he repaired my stuff at such reasonable costs.
google avatar

Laura H.

Yelp
I've been bringing my shoes to Nick's for a number of years, and the quality of the repairs are always amazing. I currently live in Washington, DC, and I actually save my shoe repairs for when I travel home to CA to see my parents because I can't find a better place to take my shoes. I recently received back two pairs of boots that I had beat up pretty bad. One even had nicks in the heel of the boot, which they were able to fill in, and the boot looks brand new. I wish I had taken before and after pictures, but needless to say, I don't take my shoes anywhere else.

Frederick F.

Yelp
Tried picking up shoe 3xs after original pick up date. Just to recieve shoes that looked like my 7 year old daughter fixed with Elmer's glue. Glue was left all over the shoe and didnt even offer discount after ruining the priceless Kobe Zoom I

Yelp
These boots are almost 15 years old. And Nick has been keeping them like new since I've owned them! They are my most favorite pair of boots, and my work boots as well. Anyone that has a favorite pair of shoes they want to keep, you owe it to yourself to visit Nick and have him help you take care of them!

Yelp
I have been going to this place for about 15 years and have always been happy with the service. I will have to say as of late I have noticed they have become extremely unfriendly, but I continued to use their services. My most recent experience however ended that. They just lost a loyal customer. I took a Prada bag to them because of a small tear on the bottom of the purse. They also offered to recondition the leather. While I was there I explained to them that I had sent my bag to Prada for some repairs, however out of the 5 things requested, they didn't fix the tear. They said they could fix it and recondition the leather and it would be ready in about a week. When I got there and I saw my bag, I was so happy with the job and was telling Nick's wife how they do such a great job there and how happy I have been with their service. After she ran my credit card, I noticed the Prada emblem was no longer gold like the rest of the hardware but had turned silver. He went to the back and tried to clean it but it didn't make a difference. Next thing you know, Nick the owner comes, with a raised voice telling me that he knew I was going to be a problem when I told them "I was unhappy with Prada" and that he should have listened to his gut feeling and not take the purse. I said to him, I just got finished saying how nice of a job you guys do, I was unhappy with Prada because they failed to do repair all requested items. I continued to insist that the emblem was not silver when I brought it in and he continued to raise his voice and told me to go back to Prada for them to fix it. I was utterly shocked at his unnecessary rudeness. He was clearly being defensive which in my mind tells me right away he knew he scuffed the gold off of the emblem. His anger and rudeness just earned him this review. I will not go to them ever again. If you need a purse repaired that has hardware on it, I suggest you take a picture before you give it to him as he will not take responsibility for any damage he causes. Next time sir, you listen to that "gut feeling". That gut feeling will make you broke!

Rich G.

Yelp
I took in a pair of brand new (Uggs light brown) (for my wife) she spilled oil on them. 3 saturated spots. I came back a couple weeks later and they were spotless and just like new! Amazing and impressed as always. After 20yrs coming to Nick he's incredible.

Vince P.

Yelp
Nick is a reliable old school shoe maker who has been in business for over 30 years. He is a delight and easy to work with.

Bill G.

Yelp
Nick does shoddy work and then blames his customer. Ruined my leather duffel bag. Stay away from this place.

Yelp
Most of their business is shoe repair. The work on my shoes was okay but I was really disappointed in the work on my black leather purse. The zipper needed to be replaced, and I figured I might as well get the purse conditioned and polished. They charged $50 (zipper replacement and purse polish). Upon pick up, I checked the purse zipper and it was fixed, but I questioned the polish and conditioning. The purse leather didn't look any better. I asked if they really did the work and they said they did but it really didn't look like they did any work on the leather - I think they just changed the zipper. This was my first visit here, and it will be my last. I've paid less at other places and gotten better results. I just decided to try this place for location convenience.

Yelp
I took a suitcase that had the locks cut off by TSA. took it to Nicks to get repaired. after 6 weeks they called and said they needed the lock code which I had already given them. I gave it to them again and he said he would fix it. I followed up a few weeks later and he said it still was not fixed and apologized. I said fine. He then called me a few weeks later to say that it could not be fixed and that it needed a whole new zipper. I said fine do the zipper. I called 2 more times over a period of about 4-5 weeks and he said I'm so sorry I will have it by Monday. I just went to pick it up and it is sill not repaired. please note that I gave them another week past Monday. I said this is ridiculous and Nick started yelling at me and telling me that I am ridiculous. Who does business like this. If they could not do the job he just had to tell me. He tried to say that I waited to return his calls for 2 months. So not true. I have given him more than enough time. I try to support small business like this. But I will have to go elsewhere now and they whole thing is delayed by months. AND the suit lease is filthy. Buyer beware this place is a hot mess

Yelp
I asked to have my shoes done by a certain date because I was leaving the next day and they agreed to it. Day comes and with no response i call them and they say they wont be ready. I ignore it, I can pick them up cause im leaving later in the day anyway. Next day they dont have my shoes ready til 30 minutes before closing. When I pick them up they have glue stains everywhere, random scratches and marks that weren't there before, and what looks like sandpaper that was taken to the side of my shoes. All of this just for a vibram sole at a place that is more expensive than any other place ive been to that has not given me any of these issues
