Had a taste for some good Maryland crabs, any my brother recommend Nicks! Hands down the best crabs I have had in a long time. I got the half dozen large crabs, they were well seasoned, juicy, and full of succulent meat. Shout out to Sam, awesome waiter. I highly recommend this spot to any crab and seafood lovers.

Carried out steamed crabs from Nick’s Crab Market last weekend and they were excellent. Unlike others, Nick’s opens at 11 am which gives a head start on the planning for the day. The crabs were nice and heavy and they asked if we wanted regular or heavy spice which is nice and did not disappoint. It’s easy to get to with plenty of parking and easy in easy out. Staff taking the order and behind the counter are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

I've bought crabs from Nicks 3X every time they've been delicious. All the crabs were full of meat and mustard, even the smalls are meaty. Definitely going to be my go to for crabs from now on.

Nicks Crabs is now my favorite Maryland steamed blue crab place. Crabs were very fresh, but it's their seasoning that really set them apart. It's not overpoweringly salty but very very flavorful. I'm assuming they are using their own proprietary blend of spices mixed with either Old Bay or J.O. seasoning, but whatever they're doing, they're doing it RIGHT!

This is a neighborhood takeout only Seafood Place. From the outside as driving up, it looks like an old farmer’s Stan or could have been a previous gas station. Inside is a large counter and the woman running the orders are very nice. Even when you call ahead, they took my order, although it took a few try’s to get through. They told me exactly what time the first pot was coming off and was spot on. Now the CRABS WERE OUTSTANDING. THEY SAID JUMBOS. And I was not disappointed. They are aligned with the market price and I was not disappointed. Final note, I drive from Delaware on a Saturday before noon, hour out and a hour back! WELL WORTH THE TRIP!!!

The crabs are delicious it reminds me of the way crab use to taste years ago. The seasoning is excellent.

Ordered a bushel for a surprise party. They delivered in flavor and quality. The steamed corn was amazing and sweet. We paid in advance and picked up the next day. Everything was ready at the appointed time. Ladies were helpful and efficient at the counter. The market is located off of Southwestern Blvd, behind the Dunkin donuts. I never knew it was there until I was looking for a place to get crabs this season. Prices were fair for this time of the summer but a tad disappointed that we got some dud crabs (empty/super light ) in the mix. Even with that, I am ready for my next batch of crabs!

Good and fast service, good food. We order seafood platters, fried oyster platters, and crab cake sandwich. All were good and tasty.

Came here 'cause I need my crab fix even during the winter holiday! The crabs were good as usual. They provide the paper to hold the messy goodness too! The staff are pleasant and always ask for your crabs HOT and wait if you have to. It'll be so worth it! All in all, my go to spot (it is less than a mile from me...lol) for hot, steamed crabs yearlong!

The crabs here was good! I called in to get an order and they were prepared with what we needed and they were so friendly. The crabs were meaty and seasoned exactly how I wanted them to be. It went well with the sides we got. I would go back here to get crabs in the future.

There's two words to describe my experience and that is BOMB DIGGITY! Jumbo crabs were absolutely scrumptious.

My bf introduced me to this crab place when we drove pass Baltimore and it was very delicious! Their crabs are sold differently based on crab size and portion size. They didn't have the jumbo ones so we got a dozen of XL crabs, steamed with normal old bay seasoning. They were $105 for a dozen and I think they only take cash! There were a couple of legs missing from some crabs but they gave us 15 total (to compensate). To my surprise, the XL crabs had a good amount of meat on them! The old bay seasoning was tasty but a little too salty so I had to be careful with how much seasoning I paired with my meat. They also have other crab options and shrimp too I believe. It was super easy to call and order. It was easy to find the shop and service was pretty quick.

Jason and the team accommodated a special request we have and we are so grateful! The crabs and corn were outstanding. The place is clean , staff is friendly and the order was ready on time. We couldn't ask for anything more! Thank you!

yes definitely recommend, I followed the reviews of others and purchased the small crabs only because I'm really allergic and didn't want to waste money. they were heavy very meaty and as I was told they would allow me to feel them...they were heavy and very tasty so was the corn. the young laddies at the counter were amazing and displayed excellent knowledge and great great great customer service skills. I would definitely go back and definitely recommend them.

Perfectly steamed crabs and cooked corn. We asked for extra seasoning and smothered the corn with it. Got there pretty late in the day so only small and medium crabs were available but even the small crabs were bursting with delicious flavor. Novices may find the small crabs hard to pick the meat but experienced crab foodies should have no problem. I liked Nick's Cajun seasoning. Service was decent at the counter. No frills, pretty straightforward ordering at a humble counter. I would go back to Nick's any time for expertly prepared crab.

The crabs are cooked to order and if you order corn on the cob they cook them in with your crabs . The crabs are meaty and seasoned to perfection.

The crabs and shrimp salad were good. Crabs are expensive everywhere but this place had the least expensive of all the places I checked in the area. The crabs were well seasoned. Although, a bit spicy for ordering mild seasoning.

We called around to various crab places and no one would commit to a bushel of crabs for Labor Day Monday. Not only did Nick's Crab Market step up to the plate to assure the Volunteers would be take care of, but they are also providing the winner of our Bushel of Crabs Raffle to be used for much needed repairs to the VFW. Not cheap, definitely not cheap, but oh, so worth it. We were only going to eat half and save the rest for the next day, but the crabs were just too good, and we ate every one in a single sitting. I'm not ashamed. Just fat and satisfied.

I really like Nick's. Their softshell sandwich (when they have it) is pretty good. Their crab cake is very good. They also have some fun drinks and their location and aesthetic are great. That being said, it is really expensive for what it is. Additionally, we had to ask for everything when we were there including: napkins, silverware, ketchup for fries, any condiments for raw oysters (they came plain with no lemons or sauce). It was a little ridiculous and we felt like we were being annoying for asking for very normal things... like silverware.

Some of the best crabs I have had. 2 dozen mediums led to 26 or so crabs about half medium and half larger. Most were heavy with only one really light crab. We had half the night we got them, still hot 30 minutes after pickup. The rest we ate the next day cold. Meaty crab, not too much spice. Nice people. Good price.

My co worker told me to check out this crab place. The people who work there was so nice and when I told the lady it was my first time buying their crabs she gave me a crab Mallett. The crabs was so good. I will buy from them again. Thank you

Awesome and great! Employee were very helpful and knowledgeable of the craft as well as very polite. I bought the extra large male crabs and everyone that ate them were extremely happy and pleased! It also was not a long wait the order I placed.

Always good service and Maryland true blues. The only place I good for crabs and corn on the Cobb.

Superb and worth every penny. I haven't tried Maryland blue crabs yet but if this how they taste, i don't wanna get my crab anywhere else. They answer queries from customers on all social media platforms and they give generously old bay seasoning. One of the best. Grew up eating local crabs and md crabs definitely is up with them in taste, texture and saltiness!

What can I say other than I absolutely love this place! They are one of the best crab locations in Maryland! I personally tend to crave crabs right after I get a fresh manicure. Weird I know. I decided Thursday evening I would treat myself to some as a pre-birthday situation and they did not disappoint! If you want great crabs, corn, shrimp and customer service I highly recommend Nicks!

Passing by this place, price is good, you get your money's worth. We are from California and truly enjoyed the crabs. We even bought the spices. Very pleasant and I ordered via Facebook messenger. Thank you! Highly recommended.

Very nice staff and very accommodating. Went to Baltimore for the day from VA and it was a sudden order and they made it happen. Crab's were fresh. Only thing that kind of bothered me was that the crab isn't cleaned by scrubbing so you see dirt left on the body but it's fine.

I recently decided to visit this establishment because of the social media media buzz. This staff is deceiving and dishonest. We ask to see the crabs ahead of ordering and they claimed the staff in the back were too busy to bring up some crabs. Well apparently that how they bait people into buying the crabs. I ordered 2 dozens of large females and 1 dozen of large males. They were small and the seasoning was wet. I'm use to dry seasoning with coarse salt. I was very disappointed, what a waste of money and a 25 minute drive. The establishment was clean, that's the only upside of this experience.

Customer service A1 sooo helpful and pleasant even though they were busy I just come in for crab seasoning to steam my own. I often travel across the bridge for crabs but I will be back.

The one star is for the crab seasoning. Not sure why all the good reviews. When I got close about 8 minutes away, I called before they closed, drove all the way from DC. Waste of money, gas, and 2.5 hours of time. Where are all these good reviews coming from?? Geeze do Baltimore folk really think these crabs are the bees knees? I only went here based on reviews. If your reading this save your money. I was told they only has 2 dz mediums left. I was getting them for a small birthday gathering hence my drive out to Baltimore. My friends know I eat crabs at least once a week and usually get good crabs (by my house). So I told him I would take the last 2 dz. Got to the party dump all the crabs out on the table and they were extra small! The meat in the legs were non existent. A lot were mushy, cuz they probably had already been steamed and left in the pot because when I got there from 8 minutes away they were already sitting behind the counter ready. The one star is for the seasoning, wish I had of purchased that while there because I won't be ever going back. $110!down the crab pot Will post this on GOOGLE also.

Heavy, meaty and fresh crabs. The best crab homemade seasoning. Add corns to your oder. Reasonable price. Nice and friendly people's at the front desk. Will definitely be coming regularly after ordering from here from here a couple times. A must stop for all crab lovers!

Crabs were heavy and meat was fresh, sweet, and delicious. Seasoning mix is on point. If you want good Maryland crabs, you won't be disappointed.

Peace I've been faithful to nicks for quite awhile. I recently brought from them on Saturday and was very disappointed, first for a dozen and a half for large the bag was very light and I should have question it before I left. They were priced 50.00 which I found odd upon inspection they really were on the medium size. I normally put nicks up against other crab houses and this time I lost to Conrad's large for 67.00. Those crabs were huge but they were dirty with black lungs . The taste of both was bland and not sweet. I understand the season is just starting but this was unacceptable. I'll still give them another chance but rest assured I will check them beforehand.

We ordered one dozen and a half crabs and they actually gave us over two and a half dozen. They were excellent too, very full and the spice they use is great.

Ordered 2 dozen extra large crabs carry out for 6:00 pickup got there at 6:00 crabs were ready . Crabs lived up to extra large label we'll seasoned heavy and very tasty . Friendly staff also . Give them a try you won't be sorry.

Best crabs ever. Always heavy, always seasoned. Call early though - they sell out. Cash only and no call waiting so be prepared. If you can't take no for an answer, I would go in person to order.

NEVERR disappointed by Nick's. The owner is a very honorable guy. He does not lie when he says EVERY crab has a good weight to it! I have gone back at least once a week this summer and gotten sizes from their "small" $38's (which are more like the market mediums to me) to their Large's (which are like the market "Jumbo's"). Nick's has found a life long customer in me. Also, do NOT miss out on the corn! It is DELISH!!! They steam it with old bay. Before you shuck it wipe the old bay off of the outside and save it to rub on the corn itself. You will not be sorry! Be mindful, this place is CASH ONLY and they take orders beginning at 11am. They do take in person orders before they begin to answer the phone so if you are really wanting crabs that day you should take the time, go when they open, and place your order there. They DO SELL OUT on the weekends!

Never again! Picked up dozen "Large" and dozen corn today. The crabs are light, medium at best. The corn were old, over cooked and gummy! What a scam!

So my friend got some crabs from here yesterday for her Fourth of July cookout and I just want to say they were the best crabs I ever had in my life! I can not wait to go back for myself! They were seasoned so well! I could still taste them after I was done eating them. They melt in your mouth!

Best crabs I've had in a long time. Was hoping for XL but had to settle for M half bushel. The mediums were still incredibly meaty. No complaints!

Definitely deserve a FIVE star. I have purchased blue crabs here for more than ten times. The quality is really good. I always get fresh and tasty crabs. Their small crabs sometimes are even bigger than other stores' medium crabs. I hope they can have delivery service so that I do not need to drive half hour every Sunday to get crabs.

Best crabs I have had in a very long time. I called first because they were sold out on my first try. Found out that calling is the best way, as they let you place an order over the phone. There was only small size available and for that reason they were offering a great sale. The gentleman on the phone recognized that this was my first time and was very patient and very informative. Cash is preferred, but they accept cards with a 4% charge. The crabs were hot. There were no mushy or tasteless crabs. They were worth the picking.

Wow-the crabs and corn came highly recommended so I figured the shrimp would be excellent too. Everybody was stoked when I revealed all the seafood and corn. Repeat for July 5th!

I have lived in baltimore for 17 years and this place has the best crabs hands down! Old school, go get them yourself kind of place with great seasoning! Keep up the outstanding work!

Let me start out by saying that I have lived here in Bmore for 20 years and I still don't see the point in picking my own crabs. There are friendly restaurants all around town that will do the work for you and package them into an easy to eat cake. That being said, my sister was in town and wanted to hit defenseless steamed crustaceans with a mallet so I made some inquiries and Nick's name kept coming up. I checked the old Yelp and saw a rare solid five so I knew I was on the right track. Called in my order for 2.5 dozen and headed out a few hours later to pick the up. The crabs came out fresh and hot and when we tore into them at home they were heavy with meat and fresh with a nice sprinkling of Old Bay. A couple things to note; cash only, reserve ahead and grab some Boh and your good to go.

Went here yesterday and got a half bushel for a get together with some family and friends. The charge was $120 and the crabs varied between med and large, but mostly on the largish side. The crabs were male, super good, fresh, heavy crabs with lots of meat and everyone was happy! Got the regular instead of spicy and they had more than enough flavor and spice. Have tried the spicy here before and they can sometimes have too much seasoning. Then if you have leftovers for the next day the spicy has ended up being too salty. A little hard to order from sometimes cause they only take call in orders during open hours the day of, or walkins for ordering. So yesterday I started calling around 12:30ish and had to keep calling back for about 10 straight because the line was busy. But that's the cost of quality steamed crabs. Always love going to Nick's, they have been on point every time
