The restaurant is set in a beautiful hotel garden right next to a small, peaceful beach. I recommend coming around sunset, it’s the perfect time to enjoy the view. The cocktails and food were amazing, especially the Nick’s Sunset, a tropical fruit juice and rum blend. The seafood tower was also great, with a nice variety of fresh seafood. I wouldn’t recommend the scallops, they were overly salty. The strawberries Panzin dessert didn’t stand out in flavor, but it was creative and visually impressive, perfect for a date night.

This restaurant delivers an unforgettable dining experience, with truly unique dishes that showcase exceptional creativity. Every pairing on the menu, like the brulee with port wine, is thoughtfully curated and absolutely delightful. Trust the chef—there’s no need for modifications, as each dish is crafted to perfection. If you're looking for a place that knows exactly how to balance flavor, artistry, and innovation, this is it.

Excellent seafood and even the Filet Mignon was great. The steak had great flavor and was very tender. Staff had no issues substituting side dishes. The atmosphere is great and most seats have a view of the pool area and ocean.

I would say I’m a little disappointed in this place based on how much the bill was. The lamb chops were absolutely phenomenal, however, the filet was a little disappointing. The filet was a bit dry and simply nothing special. Also, the service was a bit too slow for my tastes. It was around 15 mins after we were seated that our server came over to greet us and there was a noticeable wait for food and drinks to arrive at the table. It’s not our servers fault as it seemed that he was running around all night with all of his different tables. But my last impression of this place was their macadamia nut brownie sunday and let me tell you that it made it all worth it!

We got a high top table but advantage was it was part of the lounge so we got to order from both menus. The Moroccan spiced salmon was perfectly done and the banana foster hit the spot. Our waiter was laid back and very chill - awesome waiter (Brandon)

By far my favorite restaurant I have eaten at in Maui. The views were impeccable, the food delicious and the service on point. Drinks were great as well. Highly recommend!!

I came for the Rack of Lamb and it didn’t disappoint. I had it for the first time in July 2024, and it was amazing. I booked Nick’s for this trip (March 2025) before I even booked a flight or hotel. I was craving the Lamb since July. I haven’t found a restaurant that makes it better. Everything about this dish is perfection!

Nick’s Fishmarket used to be one of my faves, but… ATMOSPHERE: It looks pretty much the same since we’ve first dined here. Still open-air with covered lanai seating overlooking the pool. MENU: I wish they change that horrible font they use on the menu. It’s very cheap-looking and contradicts the menu’s delightful selections - a stronghold of American dishes but now with less of a Hawaiian aspect. FOOD: Seafood Chowder Served warm but not searing hot, the white chowder was creamy and seasoned well, with a fair amount of protein and topped with a mini crab cake. Fresh Island Catch Picatta The fish was monchong, cooked nicely but with disproportionate seasoning as parts of the filet had no flavor. What looked like risotto was actually farrotto, a wheat that looks and tastes similar to the former, but wasn’t seasoned at all, akin to eating plain rice. The capers and sauce gave the dish some life but it was very disappointing and bland for $69. DESSERT: New York Style Cheesecake Drizzled with strawberry sauce and topped with fresh strawberries, the medium-density cake was good but a tad overly sweet for me. SERVICE: Host service was good. Entrees came out while we were still finishing up the appetizers which drives me crazy. Where’s the timing? The male server was very shy with no personality and seemed either inexperienced or anxious to leave work. When he presented himself, he just stood at the table’s side without any verbal communication. Peppering our dishes got maybe 3/4 of a twist from the grinder, not till we said “when”. He checked on us just once near the end of our entrees, not soon after they were presented. Bill drop off was accompanied by him muttering “check”? No “thank you” or even “have a pleasant evening”. Nothing. It felt like pay and get the hell out. OVERALL: A fall from grace. Substandard service with a downward turn in cuisine.

Yelp
Nick's Fish Market is our favorite spot for fine dining on Maui. Every visit is exceptional, and their lamb chops are a true standout--the most flavorful, tender, and perfectly cooked lamb I've ever had, and I've dined at top restaurants across the mainland, Australia, Canada, and Asia. The Maui pineapple jam and jalapeño mint vinaigrette elevate the dish to perfection. The service here consistently meets the high standards of fine dining, with staff who are professional. The atmosphere is beautiful, especially during sunset, with views that are almost beachfront, making it the ideal setting for a special evening. Beyond the lamb, we also love the escargot, which is garlicky and perfectly tender. Their oysters on the half shell are fresh and flavorful. This time, we tried the Kalua pork potstickers--crispy and perfectly complemented by a delicious sauce. We also enjoyed their special of the day, a rich and creamy lobster tail mac & cheese, and ended with a decadent chocolate macadamia nut brownie. For fine dining, Nick's offers reasonable prices, an unforgettable menu, and a perfect setting. It's a place we look forward to returning to every time!

Yelp
I first dined at Nick's over twenty years ago. For many years since then, I told friends this restaurant was hit or miss. Sometimes the meal was great and other times it was just okay. After having had terribly overcooked fish one night, I avoided going there. More recently, I gave them another chance and am glad I did. The setting and service have always been pleasant, but the current kitchen staff finally match those elements. I have had three consistently excellent meals at Nick's. Most recently, my husband and I shared the ahi sashimi appetizer, kalua pork potstickers, and we each had monchong in the nightly-special preparation. The sashimi was melt-in-your-mouth, with no tough fibers. The flavor of the kalua pork in the potstickers is classic. The monchong was perfectly cooked. Nick's is outside, so if you are eating early and the sun will be up I highly recommend asking for a shaded table. I am pleased to say that this restaurant is finally well worth a visit!

Yelp
Good ambiance and great service The Views are amazing we had a great time I ordered the scallops and were good My beer and strawberries salad was excellent but the strawberries desert were soooo good I would go back for that

Yelp
Our food was absolutely delicious and the service was too knotch. We would come again when visiting. The only thing keeping the review from being 5 stars was the overall ambience. The vibes wanted to be quiet and like an upscale restaurant, but it's in a hotel and there were kids screaming Marco Polo in the pool and it sort of throws it off.

Yelp
We were completely blown away by the people that work at this establishment - first and foremost. We were immaculately cared for and were completely swept off our feet by our waiter Aundre. His knowledge of the menu, hospitality and chivalry were unmatched and he made us feel like family. As if the service wasn't impressive enough, the food was perfectly cooked and beyond flavorful. It was so impressive, we had the best Greek salad we've ever tasted (and I am Greek). I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, it is such a special place. We spent the second to last honey moon evening here and we were just blown away. We will absolutely be back, the ingredients, food, ambiance, service, is beyond impressive.

Yelp
Ambience is beautiful, food delicious, and servers are kind with a friendly smile and full of aloha spirit. Brandon was patient with our whacky requests plus HH prices are 25% off from 4:30-6pm nightly. Absolutely enjoyed our dishes of Kalua Pig potstickers, Steakhouse sliders, mahi fish tacos and Parmesan Frittes. Great meals and decent prices! We will be back. Thank you Brandon for taking good care of us last night. We all had a good- fun night!

Yelp
We celebrated my BFF's Birthday tonight at Nick's Fishmarket and I am impressed with the service and food qualities. Our server Cyrus was excellent and the rest of the staff. Manager Chris has come to check in on us and such a wonderful man. My friends and I will definitely will go to dinner again. Thanks Cyrus, Chris and Staffs!

Yelp
Some of the best views in Maui, great food attentive service and amazing experience. Always the first call when I'm in Maui is Nicks
google avatar

Yelp
Among the finest seafood restaurants in Maui, with the ingredients coming right from the island, the fresh catch fish options available on the menu are caught just a day prior by local fisherman. Fresh Oysters and Escargot to start for appetizers, then Grilled Spiny Lobster Tail and Diver Scallops. Really couldn't beat that open air atmosphere for enjoying dinner on a nice tropical Hawaiian night.

Yelp
Nick's was one of the first restaurants we ate at on our trip to Maui. Our timing was a little off as there was a significant downpour, and it was a challenge getting into the restaurant. Once inside, the wind and rain kept going for a little while, but it let up, and the weather turned out ok. The service and food were great! The restaurant was filled with families, couples, small groups, and us (the bests part). From appetizer to dessert, you will not be disappointed. This is a great restaurant to try on your visit to Maui.

Yelp
Fantastic, all the way around! Searched high and low for the perfect place to take my mom out for her birthday and I'm so glad we came here. I can't remember our waiters name but he was probably one of the best waiters I've ever had (and we eat at high end restaurants a lot). He really stood out. The food was great! My only complaint is the scallops dish was tiny, it did not fill me up but it was delicious! The fish entrees and specials portions were huge though! Drinks were also great and they comped a drink and a dessert for my mom for her bday. I wish you could see more of the water from the restaurant but you really just see the pool FYI water view is pretty limited.

Yelp
Always Amazing!! The food, spirits, and service are top shelf! Oh, did I mention the view at sunset....SPECTACULAR! Never had a bad experience or meal here. See you again soon and thank you for the kindness and service every time we dine with you. Mahalo Nicks Staff! Keep up the great work! It not just the food and view that brings us back it's the special people on staff that take care of us while there!
google avatar

Yelp
This place was very fancy and the food was decent, I would say the fish was overpriced but the sweet potato mash was yummy with the butter sauce. My favorite over all was probably the seared ahi as the appetizer. Drinks were good too, I would come again for drinks and a view since it was great for sunset time

Yelp
My fiance and I came here based on a recommendation from some friends and Nick's was an EXCELLENT experience in an amazing location. Overlooking the beautiful Fairmont Kea Lani, the views are excellent. We were seated at an outdoor table, just in time to start watching the sun set. We started with the charred octopus an an appetizes, which was delicious. I had the Blood Orange Old Fashioned and she had the Mai Tai. For the main course, we both went with the special, the opakapaka. This is also recommended by our friend. It was AMAZING. Probably the best piece of fish I've ever had. Service was excellent from start to finish. This was the perfect spot for our fancy dinner while on Maui. It certainly wasn't cheap, but for a very special dinner, it was worth it.

Yelp
This is a tradition meal when we come to Maui. Nick's is great for sunset dining, good service, and great food. We try to get the same table every time and this time was no exception. The hostess accommodated our request. Service was good as the wait staff continually ensured we had filled glasses of water, our server went over the menu options, and checked in at the right moments. We started with the ahi sashimi which was delish as always. I tried the seafood chowder which had a crab cake in the middle and then the chowder was poured around it. My daughter who is not a seafood lover said it tasted great. My wife had the escargot and it was very cheesy but delish according to her. For main dishes, my daughter went with crab cakes. I had the filet mignon which came with mac & cheese and asparagus. It was cooked to my liking and tasted great. My wife ended up getting the mongchong special which she enjoyed. We normally go for the strawberry panzini, but given we've cut back on the dietary endulgences for weight and health sake, we passed. No one was ordering it either. It's now $27 and it's meant for 3-4 people even though they say 2. My daughter however, got their coconut dessert as a treat for celebrating straight A's in school. Thank you Nick's!

Robin K.

Yelp
Delicious pupus, wonderful service and beautiful views. Thank you Cyrus and Renaldo for the wonderful aloha.

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance and amazing food. Wasn't sure what to get since they don't have scallops anymore!!! However we started with the oysters and black and blue ahi. Oysters have truffle ahi on top with a lilikoi mignonette. I did not like the lilikoi mignonette and thought it did not match. However the truffle ahi and the oyster was so delicious! The black and blue ahi was delicious by itself without the avocado guac. For entree we got the colossal shrimp with goat cheese ravioli and the lobster tail with bacon Mac and cheese. Both were good. The shrimp paired well the goat cheese and the pomegranate seeds! For dessert we decided on the creme brulee which was soooo good. Kinda rich but amazing rich flavor. It was my birthday so they also gifted a panna cotta that i also wanted! Thank you so much! It was basically a haupia panna cotta which I loved. Definitely would come back!

Yelp
Had a great experience here and delicious meal. Our waiter was very upbeat and informational, the view was incredible and food delicious. Was not sure since it was a hotel restaurant, but really enjoyed it. The Octopus ap was so flavorful and both fish dishes were tasty and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend

Yelp
We have always gone to Nick's on every visit as we can walk from our condo AND the food is delicious. The food was on the whole very good. Started with Poke tacos. The polenta fries with the seared Ahi wasn't very good. An off choice to accompany the fish. Please reconsider this choice. The Moroccan spiced salmon was as good as I remembered it last time. Perfectly cooked and I replaced the forbidden rice with a Yukon gold mashed potato. We should have done that with the Ahi too. We also got the fish special which I think was Opah. Pretty good. The service was adequate but we did feel we were being rushed by our waiter Jack. Maybe it was a directive from the management but we are paying good money and want to enjoy our cocktails, appetizer, etc. the service as always top notch so we'll have to think carefully about returning in March
google avatar

Yelp
Wish we had a better experience since we were celebrating our honeymoon and especially because we are staying at the resort the restaurant is in. The waiter seemed to barely pay any attention to us, and strangely spent all of his time with the table next to us. It was odd. We felt like we were a bother or did something wrong? Took awhile to get food ordered, and even longer to get our check well after table was cleared, but table next to us had long conversations and extra treats taken to them. Food was good but not worth the experience and price tag, we preferred Ko's unique menu and service more.
google avatar

Norvel H.

Yelp
This upscale eatery in the upscale part of Maui should have been better. Food wax good and service was good but we were mismatched with drinks from the waiter - long story. I suggest you stay in your Kane with alcohol and don't mix it up too much!

Yelp
Surprisingly good dinner at nick's! We were staying at the fairmont this week and had a long day after exploring the road to Hana so decided to grab dinner at the hotel. I typically hate hotel restaurants but we really enjoyed our time here. The oysters with tuna and passion fruit were AMAZING. The tuna sashimi melted in your mouth. We got the mahi mahi and shrimp for mainS - good not great. The bananas foster dessert was incredible. Our server Cyrus was a delight! So friendly and knowledgeable. The views here are great and nice to watch the sunset. Would come back for a low key but nice dinner. Great wine selection too!

Jim S.

Yelp
We went for happy hour and sat at the bar. Bartenders were friendly and helpful. The specialty cocktails they made were great. We had a few Mangotinis and a Molokai' Monkey (my dessert). We ate the poke, chopped Maui salad, potstickers and the Parmesan fries. All were great except the fries. For me, these are the type that seem coated or air fried and abit overdressed. Just not my thing. All in all, great views, great staff, and we will be back for a full dinner.
google avatar

David E.

Yelp
One of the Fairmont Resort's restaurants. Excellent quality seafood and 'Maui-affordable" prices. Still pricey, but worth it. The bar is lovely and the bartenders and friendly and knowledgable. Casual atmosphere but high end options. A lovely dinner for those staying at the resort!

Yelp
We had dinner tonight at Nick' fish market very good food and service my husband had Greek Maui salad and Rack of lamb and I had B&B Ahi Can't wait to go back.

Brandon G.

Yelp
We went here for a birthday celebration. Our waiter Bill was awesome! Super kind and helpful and gave great recommendations. We had the whole lobster special and the mahi-mahi and both were absolutely delicious. The drinks came in really cool glasses too . Really cool atmosphere as well. Would definitely recommend. We may go back tonight!
google avatar

Amy W.

Yelp
My family and I had the most fantastic dining experience here last night. The service was outstanding thanks to Justin and the gentleman who always made sure to refill our waters. The lobster was juicy and sweet. I loved the Mac n Cheese side! The Maui Cosmo was very strong, but in an excellent way. We also ordered the NY Ribeye which isn't pictured, but was extremely tender and tasty. Our reservations were for around 6 which was perfect to catch the most incredible sunset. Everyone working at Nick's and in the hotel were extremely kind/hospitable. We will be recommending this spot to everyone. Make your sunset dinner reservations here - you will not be disappointed. FYI - Be sure to drop your car off at valet if you aren't staying at the hotel. They are having construction done at the front entrance, so parking and the walk is a bit far. The valet are incredibly kind and helpful too.

Yelp
Dinner was great at Nick's. Gorgeous setting and very friendly staff. I had the macadamia crusted mahi mahi and really enjoyed it. Others in my party had the ahi, heads up that if you want it rare you have to specifically ask for rare.
google avatar

Yelp
During our stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani, we had occasion to dine at both Nick's Fishmarket and the hotel's signature restaurant, Ko. My wife and I both much prefer Nick's Fishmarket. The food at both restaurants is superb. Everything else about Nick's is superior. The greeting and seating was flawless. Even though we had a party of six, the hostess showed us to our table and made sure that the table they had arranged for us would be satisfactory. Service was also spot on. Though the appetizers were served a tad before we finished cocktails, the remainder of the service was perfect. At every turn, the wait staff was available if needed, not at all intrusive, and made sure the timing of the service was appropriate. Nick's is the type of restaurant I could eat at regularly. If we return to Maui, Nick's will be a reservation we make again.
google avatar

Gioni R.

Yelp
We didn't feel like driving, so we grabbed dinner in our hotel. It's a dressy place but wasn't stuffy. Excellent service. For appetizers, we ordered crab cakes were just ok, escargots were fantastic & the oysters were fresh. Main meals, we had Mahi mahi, macadamia crusted fish that was prepared well by keeping it crunchy outside & flaky inside. The filet mignon & rib eye steaks were cooked to medium rare as requested. I just feel the vegetables were an afterthought. The carrots were a little undercooked. The best part was the desserts we ordered. Panacotta was so smooth & silky. The brownies were deep in chocolate heaven. My favorite banana foster was so amazing & expertly prepared.
google avatar

Shannah T.

Yelp
Always had great food and service in the past, but this time it was off. The Macadamia crusted Mahi was swimming in an overpoweringly sweet sauce with way too much on the plate and it gave everything that sweet flavor (fish, potato and asparagus). When I told the waiter I wasn't happy (Devin), he didn't offer any solution and said it just must be my personal taste. Then, we were celebrating my birthday, which was noted on the original reservation, as well as confirmed at the host stand at check in. Our waiter didn't acknowledge my birthday in any way, which was very disappointing.

Matthew E.

Yelp
Nicks has an outstanding view within the fairmont hotel. The service was great and food was well prepared. I took the chance on the scallops being fresh and they were decent. The bananas foster stole the show. Be advised this is still a family hotel so the crowd is loud and obnoxious.
google avatar

Nishanth P.

Yelp
An absolutely perfect experience. We ordered the Crab cakes, Oysters for appetizers and for main course the Monchong fish (catch of the day) and the Salmon. Every item we ordered were absolutely delicious but the Monchong with capers was the best, hands down ! The service, the views, as the sunsets over the pacific and the ambiance were all great. Special thanks to Bill who was our waiter for the evening, who was very energetic and al his recommendations were very helpful. Definitely we will be back whenever we return to Maui.

Yelp
While staying at the Fairmont in December we decided we'd like to host a dinner for some family and decided on Nicks. We had a party of 9, subject to automatic gratuities and we were treated just that way. Our server was a large gruff character that treated us like an automatic meal ticket and dismissed our family and my kids as if our $1000+ was not the same money as his other tables. We didn't receive the same care or attention as those around us, no pre bus, no proper check backs, no sharing of the menu properly. My eleven year old had to ask for oyster source, proper explanation on dishes and prompt for empty dishes to be pulled. The food was ok, maybe even good, but not great enough to offset the lack of care we received. It wasn't until the bill came that I realized why we were probably treated this way- automatic gratuity. Why provide something you don't have to. I originally thought it was because we were local and maybe didn't appear to have the same money the tourist next to us did, but I really think it was just because we were an automatic $200+ without the work. I love tipping and I love tipping for great service, it's how I made my living and paved my way through my early years but I also am very aware that TIPS are To Insure Proper Service. It is the first time in my life that I didn't add additional money to the gratuity and honestly it was enough of a let down to make me want to speak to management of the hotel. (I didn't because it wasn't appropriate for why I was there -too unwind after a very strenuous community reach out) but I look back on my time in Maui for that visit and the only black spot is Nicks Fish Market. Thank god for the good company, beautiful ambiance, acceptable plating, nice wine and cocktail options or I would've blew my lid. Celebrating a grueling 3 month long venture would've been completely lost if not for the space and the kitchen.

Yelp
Came her to celebrate an occasion with my hubby. It was such a lovely experience! First of all, the ambience was perfect with open air setting overlooking the pool, garden and ocean. We were greeted by lovely staff and felt welcomed as soon as we were seated. Our server Mike was the best part of our experience. He explained the specials and was so knowledgeable about the food they were serving. Mike obviously enjoys his job, he is pro active and polite. We had the seafood chowder which was served with lots of crab and Hawaiian fish. So perfect! Then we had crab cakes which had fresh crab taste served with tartar sauce and lovely lemon salad. The seared diver scallops was served with goat cheese tortellini (perfect combination) and the citrus butter sauce was just delectable! The strawberry cheesecake was ok. We were surprised by an anniversary dessert which was really sweet. Definitely recommend this restaurant. A bit pricey, but it's Maui. Good to have a treat once in a while. We'll be back!
google avatar

Eddie C.

Yelp
I went here for an early dinner with the kids while we stayed at the Fairmont Kei Lani. It was definitely fancier than any other place we went to and the food was the best we had in Maui. Mahi Mahi was really good and kids absolutely inhaled the the pork potstickers with pineapple curry. Service was top notch and the outdoor seating was beautiful overlooking the Fairmont garden.
google avatar

Dylan P.

Yelp
Highly recommended indeed. Every entree on this menu is just damn right good and different.
google avatar

Evelyn K.

Yelp
This setting was not what I had imagined when I heard "fish market," but the grounds blew me away! Before we were seated, we sampled some drinks and were not disappointed - the expresso martini and lava flow were favorites. Nick's served a four-course meal for my work team's celebration dinner. To start, we had crab cakes, seared bluefin tuna, and kalua pork dumplings. The Greek-style salad was so fresh! For entrees, I had to order the scallops with feta tortellini (decadent), but I heard great things from my table about the filet mignon, mahi mahi, and catch of the day. The strawberry panzini dessert might have been the most spectacular one I've seen in some time as the servers poured flames over the strawberries and chocolate.

Yelp
This was our last dinner in Maui, and I was looking for someplace special. When I saw this listing, I managed to snag a reservation and we drove quickly to make it. This is in the Fairmont Hotel - at the bottom of the stairs to the left past the entrance and fountain. Our server was Chevis, who was the best server we have had in all of Maui. Attentive, positive, and he knew every detail on the menu and the specials, and could talk about them with enthusiasm. The rest of the staff was also attentive - the water glasses never ran dry once. This was our anniversary trip. We started by splitting a Caesar salad, which had roasted garlic on top. No anchovies, but the garlic did help. The single salad was big enough for two. My wife went with their pan-seared Ahi Tuna, and I chose their fresh catch Opakapaka, which was served on a bed of carrots and broccolini, in a bed of barley and capers. The fish was topped with a healthy dollop of tomatoes which had been boiled down all night, and provided a smooth taste to the fish. The presentation on all the courses was outstanding. We wrapped things up with a piece of cheesecake and a scoop of their in house made raspberry sorbet, both of which were fantastic. The restaurant also included a flan dish for our anniversary. Better than Spago? Service? Yes Food? Yes Price? Yes This place is really good. Get a reservation, and give it a try.

Yelp
Don't waste your time or money. Terrible service, tasteless food. Ambiance and view is probably the only thing this restaurant has going for it, but you can get that for free from the resort grounds.

Yelp
The absolute best service ive ever had in my life. Ask for Aundre he was outstanding . They went absolutely way above and beyond for my family we were celebrating my brothers wedding and came here for dinner and i was absolutely stunned from how amazing they were we had my daughter and my sisters daughter fall asleep while we were trying to eat and they made our daughters basically a bassinet out of chairs i honestly wanted to cry ive never had anyone anywhere do something so generous for us i wanted to cry this place is the absolute best restaurant ever

Yelp
Had an outstanding dinner at Nick's Fish Market at the Fairmont Kea Lani. Seating was nice but not great ocean and sunset views- mostly obstructed Food was terrific We had the strawberry beet salad which was small but very tasty The poke bowl had large chunks of tender ahi tuna The mahi-mahi was encrusted with macadamia nuts and served with a coconut sauce that was out of this world The hidden shrimp was very good with 6 very large shrimp that actually tasted like shrimp The macadamia nut brownie with vanilla bean ice cream and caramel sauce was just perfect to top off the evening A nice experience with excellent food

Charles H.

Yelp
Our experience began with our seasoned server who grew up in Kona, Chris Lanis. He made some really awesome recommendations and we ordered different entrees and we shared samples with each other in our party of six. I ordered the Opakapaka which was great. Chris recommended the rack of lamb and that was outstanding as well. My wife ordered the filet mignon and it was tender and cooked to perfection. The restaurant wasn't busy due to the sharp reduction in visitors due to the Lahaina fire and the situation is having a negative impact on the businesses on the other side of the island such as Nick's. I encourage people to visit and support this wonderful restaurant. Chris Lanis will take good care of you! We were extremely happy with the ambience, food, and especially the service.

Scott G.

Yelp
Crusted Mahi was phenomenal along with the red snapper piccata. Views are second to none and all the cocktails were the same

Jon N.

Yelp
Kinda Old School feel place, but we loved it. Service was great; the food was delicious, and the drinks were good. Great wine menu, too. The starters we tried were the Kaluha Pork Potstickers ( I loved them, wife thought they were just thought okay ), and the Strawberry Beet Salad ( which they so nicely split for us and we both loved! ). Pesto is the magic component in the salad and dish is 100% recommended!! For entrees, we chose macadamia crusted mahi and scallips with ricotta tortellini. Both dishes were excellent!! Yelp
I don't easily give out 5 stars but I would say Nicks earned a repeat visit. The venue in the Fairmont is good - protected from the wind but open and airy. Seated on time and the service was prompt and courteous. Good advice from the server. Wine list was a bit light on the white side but sufficient. The Ahi tuna appetizer was great. Super tender. The macadamia nut mayo was done very well and they subbed out the purple yams for Jasmin rice which was appreciated. The majong catch of the day was excellent. Crème brûlée - would have preferred red berries with it vs blue, but tasty.

Yelp
We decided to do a late dinner and the hostess informed us of the wait which we understood because it was about 8:30 and by reservation. But she did indicate the bar seating was open. So we sat at the bar and actually had a great view of the patio. Our bartender Eric took care of us providing outstanding services. He provided recommendations for both entrées and drinks and they did not disappoint! We ordered the half shell oysters with tuna and truffle oil (omg the best I've ever had!!) escargot for appetizers and for the main course the seared ahi tuna. Seared just perfectly!! Highly recommend for couples who don't have reservations to sit at the bar you are able to access the full menu and Eric provides top notch services!

Yelp
Our waiter was great, friendly, able to explain ingredients and make suggestions. I had the black and blue margarita which was a perfect evening drink. We started with the pork potstickers. I had the spicy Prawns with fun Choi and crispy rice cracker. The chili sauce was just the right amount of spiciness. The menu includes fresh fish of the day, mahi, steak, rack of lamb, chicken, so there is something for everyone. For dessert we had the macadamia nut brownie with vanilla ice cream, creme brulee and a bowl of chocolate ice cream. They were all yummy! Loved the outdoor seating and the view of the sunset.

Yelp
"World class cuisine" with "impeccable service" is used to describe Nick's Fishmarket. However, I'd question the impeccable service part as our experience was inadequate to the Nick's Fishmarket brand based on other reviews. The food is great but our experience left a bad impression for me. Biggest miss for me was our server and his lack of attentiveness. Came here for an early dinner on a Wednesday with a party of 5. Our server was hard to locate so when we needed a few extra items we ended up asking other servers around us for them. Might've been a one off experience but that was enough for me to know I won't be back. There are plenty of other options with great food and comparable prices if you're in the area.
