I was not expecting to find Italian food today. I am in India, furthermore, I am in Dharamshala which is a Tibetan enclave. But a friend lured me here. I ordered the Spinach Ravioli. The pasta was delicately soft, as only freshly made pasta can be. The spinach was fresh and green and delicious. The tomato sauce tasted like it came from an Italian grandmother, fresh and nutritious and made with great attention. The best pasta I’ve ever had in my life. Plus the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the view of the Himalayas—well, there are no words for that.

Homemade sauces, homemade bread, homemade Kombucha and lots more. Great vegetarian Italian food and really good service. Independently run by a Tibetan family for many years, and served the likes of Richard Gere and Demi Moore.

I had high expectations for Nick's Italian Kitchen, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The food was completely bland—even the pasta lacked any real flavor. Service was painfully slow and inattentive, making the whole experience frustrating. To make matters worse, even the desserts were subpar. The carrot cake with cream cheese, in particular, was just bad. The only saving grace was the ambiance, but that alone isn't enough to make me want to return. Definitely not worth the hype!

Suggested by a friend and i literally visited this place for the mind blowing view and their desserts and the teas. Great staff and lovely desserts. You can enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and some dessert while enjoying some breathtaking views and sunset. Really lovely place with some serene ambiance. Will definitely recommend.

The food was worth the hype.. you cannot expect the North Indian flavour in the authenticity of Italian food.. Their flavours are different. Desserts were unbelievable

This was a great cafe, had direct views of the hill but some of them obstructed with roofs of other buildings. But still very beautiful interiors and vibe. Good food with good view is there. I went for a breakfast with view and found it mostly empty just some foreigners were there. The cafe has good variety of food. I really liked their coffee. And its price is also justified. A cafe which is worth the time spent.

My friend and I on that particular day went in for dessert. They lot of different options and everything looked freshly baked. With such amazing mountain view my evening was made... We had some coffee and cakes and packed few cakes for friends. All flavours were amazing.. will definitely love to go back. They had lot of people coming in too.

We absolutely loved our experience at Nick’s Italian Kitchen in McLeod Ganj! I had already picked up some baked goods in the morning, and they were so fresh and delicious that we had to come back for lunch. We ordered pasta, pizza, bruschetta, momo, thupka, and lasagna — every dish was amazing. What we loved the most is that everything is homemade, with no additives or artificial flavors. Just pure, simple, authentic taste. You can really feel the love and care in their food. Highly recommend if you’re in McLeod Ganj!
