I took myself in a solo date here and sat at the sushi bar - 11/10 recommend! The guy (very nice Colombian guy) was so helpful and basically helped me decide each course as the evening progressed. I had the nigiri and he even recommended which ones to order in what order based on the taste. The Wagyu nigiri was INSANELY good I’m still dreaming of it 🤤 and then I also had the flamed salmon one which was delicious. Cocktails were also really yummy! Didn’t make it to the speakeasy but they offered to take me in which was very nice.

Nicky Harrison was such an unexpected highlight. The speakeasy in the back is honestly incredible. Dimly lit, intimate, and full of character. It feels like you’re stepping into a completely different world once you walk through. The food was amazing. The nigiri sushi and the ceviche was fresh and delicious. Bright, balanced, and so well done. The cocktails were just as impressive, beautifully made and really elevated the whole experience. If you’re looking for a spot in Buenos Aires with great food, nice restaurant, and a hidden speakeasy vibe, Nicky Harrison is absolutely worth checking out. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Flawless experience. Sexy atmosphere for a date night, delicious food, and hospitable staff. Make sure you visit their “bodega” after dining. Coming from the US, their speakeasy experience exceeded our expectations.

No review needed - Just don’t go. My sister and I were recommended to their speakeasy by the owner of another restaurant. The man and woman at the door refused to look at us or even address us. Clearly their phones are more important than paying customers. There are so many better places to go in the area where the employees will treat you with respect. Go elsewhere.

Nicky Harrison was the best bar I visited in Buenos Aires, even though it’s not listed among the Top 50. The atmosphere was impeccable, with warm lighting at the perfect level, comfortable seating, and tasteful music at a volume that allowed conversation without shouting. The bar counter was small but well-lit, giving the space a stage-like character. The bartenders were dressed appropriately and delivered flawless work. The signature cocktail menu was excellent, and any off-menu classic was promptly prepared. High-quality glassware and a wide variety of glasses added personality to each drink. Unfortunately, I only had time for two cocktails, but I definitely plan to return and explore the menu further.

An amazing evening 1st in Nickys for wonderful sushi. Then the back bar with fantastic music. The DJ was brilliant, played all the music we asked for. Great cocktails. One of the best nights of holiday. An absolute must.

The experience was sublime. Our dear Ignacio guided us along the menu with extreme perfection, this was the first time we visited. We started with drinks from the cocktail menu and received an anniversary complementary drink, and to start we order a Peruvian ceviche which was excellent with the perfect touch of spice and bitterness. We moved ahead and ordered a Chardonnay to match our menu and followed by a Salmon Tiradito and Pink 2 Nigiri: the Tiradito was good but not different but the Pink 2 Nigiri was absolutely crazy good, the flavor explosion has no explanation. Our next and final decision was another Pink 2 because why not? And we order a 10 unit salmon sushi, it was perfect ! The ingredients are fresh, the food is excellent, Ignacio was great, the music was special and at the end we finished our Chardonnay inside the Harrison Bar :-) Thank you for the experience, it was great, we will return Andrea & Veronica

The Harrison is a New York prohibition themed speakeasy tucked behind the Nicky NY sushi. To enter, you must walk through the restaurant and a server will take you behind the wine cellar and a "Time Machine". It was a bit funny seeing another country's interpretation of "American culture" but I think Harrison nailed it - from the New York newspaper menus to the classy interior to the expertly made cocktails. I could not decide on the cocktail menu, so the bartender asked me what my preferences were. She whipped up a mint banana drink and it was SO AMAZINGLY GOOD. Like one of the best cocktails of my life. AND it was only $6!! (Granted, all the cocktails in Buenos Aires are $6 USD) During my visit to Buenos Aires I also tried two of the "world's top 50" bars: Tres Monos and Floreria Atlantico. Honestly, I think Harrison has them both beat in terms of ambiance and beverage. Wonderful experience and I will definitely come back the next time I'm in town.

Good ambiance and nice jazz music. Drinks are nice but might have to come really late as it was rather empty at 10pm.

To get to this speakeasy, you go thru the sushi restaurant and thru this submarine like door. It then opens up to large outdoor area then a smaller room with a bar and live music inside. It's interesting and makes for good ambience. Unfortunately, the drinks were just meh. I expected more considering the hype. The Lead to Saturn was a bit too sweet. The Nightshift was good due to the earl grey flavor, but the bourbon component didn't pack a punch. We were going to try more drinks but the service was also not great. We had to ask for water 3 times... and mind you, you pay for water so it was just annoying. Plus this is one of those places that always acts like they did you a favor by getting you in because they're "sooo busy" all the time, but we got that spiel and there were at least 6 tables around us that were empty. The hostess that gave us that talk was obviously just spouting off what they say to everyone and we rolled our eyes as we got sat outside with literally just 1 other couple and all the other tables were empty. Please. I know the story is Nicky Harrison was originally from NY and went to Argentina to open this place, but it's not a hotspot in Manhattan, so lose the attitude.

Great drinks (very cool and unusual "glasses"!) and awesome ambience. A must-see in BA behind Nicki Sushi.

So it's inside Nicky NY Sushi. We didn't have reservations and we didn't eat there either. We walked up and said we want in to Harrison's and they laughed at us. We were given a business card. And told make a reservation and come eat sushi. Lol!!!! Then the truth came out "we leave tomorrow, we're a crew with (bleep) airline and we were told you guys are legit." The guy looked at us and said hmmm please hold, checked with someone, and came back and said OK come this way. He led us through the sushi restaurant, then a hallway then we stopped in between a couple doors, the following door looked straight out of a submarine. We stopped in what looked like a foyer. We soon found out it was a foyer between two worlds the current time in Palermo, and The Harrison, New York 1930's. We walk in to the past to Nicky Harrison's speakeasy, where it's dimly lit. A charming waiter with the coolest mustache recommends a few libations and we transcend to a prohibition era were only a few know where to find booze.

Kind of tacky. Pre-bottled cocktails, which was strange. Trying way too hard to be American.

There's nothing better than grabbing a creative and delicious cocktail. What makes it even better, is when you can walk up to the bar and have a very cool pair of bartenders give you suggestions on some of their favorites, or on drinks that fit your taste in booze. The Harrison tops off the list, with its true "secret" entrance through the restaurant in front. The staff walk you through and give you a brief history on who Harrison was, and how and why he is infamous (not gonna ruin it, you should just go yourself). From there, you can sit at a table, or at the bar. This was the best option, since many bars don't have seating in BS AS. The creative menu gives you many options to choose from, and the bartenders will also give you a hand. This is definitely a great place for a date, or an intimate conversation. Sure, come with a group, but it's not a loud place.

Really cool speakeasy on par with speakeasy in the USA. Will recommend, usually they require you to eat before you are able to go to the speakeasy.

If you are even slightly interested in cocktails, Harrison's should be on your to do list. Like other speakeasy bars in BA, they also make you jump through hoops to get to the bar. There are basically two ways to get in: a) You're friends with someone who has a membership card or b) You have dinner at Nicky's NY sushi bar. After you finish your dinner, ask to visit the wine cellar. Tip: The sushi I had was ok, not great. I suggest you order something other than sushi, the grilled salmon with vegetables was looking good. The decoration in the bar was the best I've seen in BA. It really feels like you left Buenos Aires and went back to NY in the 20's during the prohibition era. I tried a bottled negroni and a 20's sazerac and both were amazing. If you can, I suggest sitting in the bar so you can watch bartenders Gon Cabado and Seba Garcia prepare the cocktails.

Adorable members only (or restaurant eaters') speakeasy. Bar flies are transported through a time machine and into the back of this place which features a fully decked out and lush bar from the 20's featuring artisanal cocktails and swing music. The menu is a newspaper... So rad!! Highly recommended.

I have traveled the world for work and when I go somewhere I'm always looking for a cool probation era styled bar and this place wins for Argentina I was impressed and I go to a lot ! If you want to get right to Buisiness and get some proper cocktails by mixologist go here !!!

Very refine and classic spot. The cocktails were great and the vibe was very good. Excellent service as well.

Super fun and cool. The drinks were very good and well themed. My first speakeasy was a success . The bartenders were very skilled and gave good advice on the drinks.

Awesome speakeasy. The ambiance is fantastic and the entry is something to experience without a doubt. After some sub-par cocktail experiences at other bars, I ordered a boulevardier with Maker's Mark. I will admit, I was shocked that I was charged more for this classic cocktail than my friends were for the fancy cocktails on the menu. Nonetheless, the bar ware was really lovely and the cocktails were great. Highly recommend this place. Once criticism is that it was very noisy. I'm not a native Spanish speaker and it was a tough conversation.

Wow. Fun, awesome slice of the past. Amazing cocktails! This place is absolutely amazing. My go to drink there is off the menu. I always get a pisco sour with a chili in it. Soooooo gooood!!!

Incredible time Wednesday night. The most laidback and relaxed bar in Palermo. For US expats, it's a nice oasis. Drinks are slow. Kick back, relax, and enjoy the company you are with the drinks are worth the wait. Ask for the train drink for some fun. Old fashions are great. Every drink is made perfectly and with love. Pro tip, sit at the bar and watch in amazement.

I didn't know that "speakeasy" themed bars were becoming popular around the world until we went here and found out there are several in BA alone, since then I have been recommended to go to them in several other places, including Shanghai! We ate sushi in the restaurant that leads into this place first, and then had some drinks with friends at the bar, it was all quite nice, the music, the service, the decor.

This place was great. I absolutely loved the decor, and the drinks were delicious and unique. Even the menu was adorable. We were seated at a table with comfy chairs, and we had a great time. The waitress also spoke Enlgish, which is always helpful. :)
