Nicole's Table - Caribbean Cooking Classes

Other than being away from work, Nicoles Table “cooking with rum class” has been the highlight of our trip. Very laid back,informative, interactive, and door opening to other cultures and the food that bonds people together. Nicole and her husband were very hospitable and we felt like we were at home in no time. The view and their abode were added highlights. Could have spent all day there. Book your excursion with them and explore your palate and local cuisine. Definitely the best meal yet and the food has been good at our resort. Beautiful people! Get ya some!

Warren and I attended the Cooking from the Sea class in January. When you attend one of Nicole's classes you are warmly greeted by not only Nicole but also Adam (Nicole's husband). You are offered a refreshing passion fruit juice while getting acquainted with Nicole and any other guests. The classes are interactive, which is great, informative and conducted in a very professional yet welcoming environment. After the meal is prepared everyone, including Nicole and Adam enjoy the fruits of your labour on their beautiful.deck with an amazing view, while sipping on Nicole's wonderful rum punch. We have attended several classes and have never been disappointed. The meal is made using top quality ingredients and is always absolutely delicious! We had an amazing experience at the jerk chicken cooking class! Nicole was incredibly thoughtful and made the class enjoyable for everyone, especially our toddler. She paid special attention to him, involving him in every step of the cooking process, which made the experience even more memorable for our family. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We also really enjoyed the company of the other participants. Overall, it was a fun, educational, and delicious experience that we won’t forget! Highly recommend this class for anyone looking to learn some great cooking skills while having a fantastic time.

What a fun day! Nicole's table is in a beautiful home located up a secluded drive. We were happily greeted upon arrival and offered a delicious passion fruit juice to drink. Two other couples joined us and we got to know them as Nicole and her assistant Iana got everything ready. At 11am, Nicole began explaining the origins of jerk cooking and all the spices we were going to be using. We all took turns participating in creating the delicious meal. We made fried plantains and yucca with pineapple salsa and a zesty, creamy dip. Of course there was jerk chicken which was marinated in a flavorful concoction that just tasted amazing. We also made rice and beans and pumpkin fritters. We also had a yummy salad, and the dessert we prepared were these wonderful coconut custard tarts. After the knives were put away, she offered us some delectable rum punch to drink with our lunch that we enjoyed outside on the gorgeous veranda. It was an outstanding experience that I would highly recommend to all! Thanks Nicole and Iana!

What a fantastic day with Nicole and her family. If you are visiting Antigua, you absolutely must book a day to cook with Nicole. She is very knowledgeable in culinary crafts, she definitely knows her stuff! Super nice and personable family. Not only do you get to eat amazing food that’s mostly prepared by you but there are gorgeous views that overlook St. John’s. Wonderful, intimate experience and would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Thank you Nicole and family for making St. John’s extra memorable.

Where do we begin? My husband and I selected the Curry option. I must say, my husband is West Indian and the purpose of taking the Curry class was to see differences in the styles of cooking curry. The menu we were preparing was long - 7 items including rice - does rice count? We started with a beverage - which is always nice! Then we prepared a healthy snack that we could nosh on during our time prepping the meal. From the main dish to the sides to the dessert - time flew by! Nicole was warm and welcoming and the conversation and laughs never ended. Nicole was patient and funny. Finally, being able to sit down and share the meal with Nicole and Adam and one of their daughters was the cherry on top of the outing. I can't forget to mention the view from the veranda, the flowers in the garden and welcoming atmosphere, we truly enjoyed ourselves, definitely enjoyed the food and the company was top notch. So much so - we forgot to take pictures of the food we prepared! Not to mention, you get to take the recipes home with you! We will definitely visit Nicole's table again when we are back in Antigua! We had a blast cooking our 3 course lunch at Nicole’s with another couple. I don’t cook at all whereas my wife is quite proficient, both of us enjoyed the experience. The rum punch started to flow freely and Nicole’s husband Adam took us through an interesting array of rums from the region whilst it was all baking. A yummy then followed. Expensive but not unreasonably, food at the supermarkets is fearsomely dear on the island.

Our first experience cooking with Nicole and Adam was on our honeymoon to Antigua in 2018. We had a great time! Since joining Nicole's Table online Caribbean cooking classes, we have really enjoyed the cooking lessons, food and people. It's a great way to learn and try new foods. The menu/recipes are always fantastic! It's super fun and a great date night. Nicole and Adam are the best!
