Nicole's Table - Caribbean Cooking Classes

Thank you, Nicole and Adam, for the best cooking class experience that Buddy and I have ever participated in! Your home is beautiful, the event was so well organized and you and Adam were the perfect hosts and knowledgeable guides about the local foods and the Caribbean rums (thumbs up for the rum tasting as well)! The food and drink (Rum Punch, 1-2-3-4) were delicious! If anyone visits Antigua, Nicole’s Table is an event not to miss!

Initially, I booked the cooking with rum class, recognizing that, as a solo participant, I might need to be reassigned to another class, as outlined in the booking instructions. Adam and Nicole seamlessly accommodated me in the curry class, and I was thrilled to have adjusted my planned excursion itinerary to participate. The experience was outstanding! Nicole demonstrated remarkable chef teaching skills, providing detailed explanations, suggesting alternative ingredients based on our regional considerations, and instructing us on how to be amazing home (or sou-chefs)! I intend to recreate the curry menu at home shortly. I highly recommend booking without hesitation, as you will not regret the experience! P.S. our group was the best curry class to do it 😊

My family had a wonderful experience with Nicole. She is an excellent cook and an even better instructor. She is wonderful with children as well, kind but firm. Nicole's Table was one of our best experiences in Antigua and my children are still talking about it.

Other than being away from work, Nicoles Table “cooking with rum class” has been the highlight of our trip. Very laid back,informative, interactive, and door opening to other cultures and the food that bonds people together. Nicole and her husband were very hospitable and we felt like we were at home in no time. The view and their abode were added highlights. Could have spent all day there. Book your excursion with them and explore your palate and local cuisine. Definitely the best meal yet and the food has been good at our resort. Beautiful people! Get ya some!

Nicole's Kitchen was amazing. This excursion was the best part of my trip. The part I will never forget. So much so, I came home and used her recipe for my family. So welcoming and beautiful.

We had such a lovely time at this class. Nicole is wonderful and welcomed us into her beautiful home. The class was fun - and for those of us who are not great cooks, easy to understand so we can take the recipes home and try ourselves! Our classmates - 3 other couples were such fun, we were an excellent mix. The end product for lunch was AMAZING!! Sitting in Nicole's back area for lunch with the view - perfect ending. What a fun day! Nicole's table is in a beautiful home located up a secluded drive. We were happily greeted upon arrival and offered a delicious passion fruit juice to drink. Two other couples joined us and we got to know them as Nicole and her assistant Iana got everything ready. At 11am, Nicole began explaining the origins of jerk cooking and all the spices we were going to be using. We all took turns participating in creating the delicious meal. We made fried plantains and yucca with pineapple salsa and a zesty, creamy dip. Of course there was jerk chicken which was marinated in a flavorful concoction that just tasted amazing. We also made rice and beans and pumpkin fritters. We also had a yummy salad, and the dessert we prepared were these wonderful coconut custard tarts. After the knives were put away, she offered us some delectable rum punch to drink with our lunch that we enjoyed outside on the gorgeous veranda. It was an outstanding experience that I would highly recommend to all! Thanks Nicole and Iana!

Cooking class at Nicole’s is an absolute treasure of an experience. We had an absolutely brilliant time learning the history of island spices and methods of preparing local food and vegetables. Nicole and her family are generous with their time, resources and knowledge. Also, their house sits up high with an expansive veranda and a constant breeze so when it’s time to enjoy the fruit of your labor you get an outstanding view! Highly recommended for families and anyone who loves to cook.
