Nicora is a MUST STOP on a trip to Paso Robles! They have a beautiful tasting room and their wine is SO DELICIOUS!!! My husband and I hosted about 20 people in their tasting room recently, and everyone greatly enjoyed the wine and overall experience. Nick & Elissa have something so special in this winery and I highly recommend anyone gives it a try.

We had a tasting with Nic, and absolutely loved the experience. Like any great chef, Nic is using top notch ingredients to make incredible wines. My favorite stand out was a very plush 100% Grenache but everything on this menu was beautiful. Nice work Nicora!

I love bold, complex reds and I have never tried such perfect wines. Nick is an artist for sure and truly was humble and approachable as a person as well. The service was phenomenal and we were able to get an enjoyable experience and learn a lot about their processes. We weren’t planning on getting a membership but with a small producer with such incredible wines, we had to do it.

Nicora is always an absolute delight! I HIGHLY recommend visiting for top tier wines, and excellent service in an incredibly beautiful tasting room.

What a GEM in Tin City. We had the pleasure of visiting the Nicora tasting room and it did not disappoint. Sara was so knowledgeable as she lead us through our tasting and nibbled on some snacks. Not only is the wine fantastic, but we had the distinct pleasure of meeting the owner and wine maker himself. Nick shared more about his wine journey, powered by a small but mighty team of four. Nick - you are a talent. We can't wait to see what you come out with in the years to come!

The tasting room is quite simple but the wines are absolutely delicious. On our latest trip to Paso Robles, we were afforded the opportunity of a private wine tasting experience with the winemaker Nick. We found him very knowledgeable, simple, chill, and down to earth. His wines were absolutely fantastic, including both the Syrah and the GSM. I could drink those wines all day long. Really appreciated the opportunity to chill at Nicora for a bit and appreciated Nick's passion for wine. Check him out next time you're in Tin City!

Our tasting was such a fun experience and the wines are amazing. Truly a hidden gem in Tin City. Plus, dog friendly!

Came to Paso for a girls weekend and did a tasting at Nicora in Tin City. The wine was excellent. Sarah was the host for our tasting and she was terrific. She was very knowledgeable and shared great stories about the winery. She also gave us recommendations for restaurants and other spots to visit during our stay. I'd highly recommend checking it out.

The wines were exceptional, only topped by the service we received from Sara. The whole experience was delightful, wines are great, we of course, bought a couple of bottles. We will definitely be back!! Thanks Sara for a perfect ending to our trip.

Delicious wines that never disappoint! We visited Nicora Winery yesterday for a tasting and to pick up our Fall shipment. It is always a special treat to visit Nicora! They are a small boutique winery located in Tim City area of Paso Robles, CA. Nick and Elissa have a tasting room that is quaint, warm and inviting! Evan took excellent care of us! Evan (Tasting Room Manager and Sommelier), is very knowledgeable about the wines, vineyards and the process of making each wine. Nick (owner and winemaker) puts his heart and soul into each bottle that is produced. This is evident in each sip! Super yummy, outstanding, multi-dimensional with a satin smooth finish. Nick specializes in Syrah, Grenache and other Rhone varieties. Nicora is a must visit in Paso Robles. Appointment only... so plan ahead and book on line. It is a privilege to be part of the Nicora Winery family!

The best kept secret in Paso Robles! If you like reds, this is the place!! I didn't know it was possible, but they actually have a 100 point red:) Tasting room located in Tin City-make a reservation in advance. Evan, the tasting host, is very knowledgeable and we enjoyed our overall experience so much we ended up leaving with a case of wine-but not before joining the wine club. We just got our first wine club shipment, and will savor every sip of our Nicora wine Cheers!

The wines are OUTSTANDING! Glenn, Evan and Shea treated us like family from the first impromptu drop in visit to the Tasting Room to the very end of our tasting. It was the most enjoyable tasting I've ever experienced. If you like big, beautiful, elegant 100% Syrahs, or SGMs this boutique winery will not disappoint! Loyal wine club member for ever.

This was our first time in Paso Robles, so we were unfamiliar with Tin City, which is an area with multiple tasting rooms in walking distance. It's a neat area and I would definitely recommend checking it out. We had a great time at Nicora and ended up purchasing several of their wines. Bonus - they were trying out cheese pairings and we got to be the guinea pigs. It did not disappoint!

Friendly staff, good wines, great experience The price point is a little on the high side. We generally buy at least 1 bottle from each winery we go to. But after paying for each tasting fee it was too much $$.

Turning out some tremendous wines .... highly rated, but even more important, truly excellent tasting varieties to choose amongst. Nick Elliot is one of Paso's most talented winemakers and he's offering great value AND superior quality. Simply stated, you never get an ordinary bottle from Nicora. His single varietals are outstanding and the blends are out of this world. These are all showing very well, and will only get better with a little time. Evan, the tasting room manager, spent almost 2 hours with us. We also got a chance to meet Nick, the owner, and was thoroughly impressed with their wines in the tasting room. We learned a lot about the history of the winery as well as the different grapes they grow. We will definitely be back!

We came to Nicora Winery by a referral from some friends.... thank god for friends! We had the BEST wine and the BEST service! I made my reservation with Evan on the phone and immediately felt that this guy knows his wine! Well, that was only surpassed by the actual visit and tasting of their fantastic wines. Evan gave us our tasting accompanied by the lovely Elissa and we felt so special and came away with and amazing hour of education about the wines and wonderful conversation from some truly nice people. Of course we bought some wine and we will make sure to come back to Tin City and we will be visiting Nicora again and again!!!

We had not visited Nicora before and were quite impressed! The friendly and knowledgeable staff, especially the on-site Sommelier Evan, was great for starters. But the wine. . . my, my, my! The Bien Nacido Syrah was absolutely riveting. Gorgeous texture, astonishingly rich dark fruit on the mid-palate, and a long finish just leaves one wanting more! We also tried a GSM blend that was very, very nice. Thanks Nick!!!

First things... this is an appointment only tasting room. I'd been hearing good things about Nicora, so I made an appointment. My recollection is we tasted 4 wines. GSM, Euphoric, Buxom and Shadow Canyon (Syrah). Our host (I believe it was the winemaker's wife) also open a white wine for us to try. All 4 wines were impressive. It's rare to taste at a winery, where every wine you try you like. I mean really LIKE. Ended up joining the wine club on the spot. Shadow Canyon was my favorite, but I'm really a Syrah fan. Excellent service, excellent wines, highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time, tasting some excellent wines outside. We can't wait to come back to Tin City (Paso Robles). Dan H

The tasting room is small but worth the time to enjoy these beautiful full bodied wine presented by Evan the tasting room manager. He is knowledgeable and made the experience. He gave us a lead in a few other wineries to try. I will be back.

Nicora was recommended by a friend and it was simply amazing! Evan and Jax were fun, knowledgeable and attentive. The wines were superb, my favorite was the GSM 2016 but it was a tough competition! They have a small selection of carefully crafted vineyard designated wines. The wines were delicious, and show how much Nick loves his job! My friends from out of town were very impressed and overall it was a great experience. Thank you Nicora for an amazing time!

When visiting Paso Robles we always try to include a stop in Tin City to visit with Nick and Evan at Nicora Winery! All of their wine is top notch. The Buxom Blend never disappoints and is one our overall favorites from the region.

Amazing wines and a great experience! For our first time in Tin City, it was amazing to get to sit down and discuss the wines we were tasting. Took home the SGM, but loved the four we did try. I will definitely be back for another wonderful experience!

This was our first wine tasting experience in Tin City and I have a feeling anything after will be hard to top. First they were very quick to respond via email to set up the appointment and were very accommodating with tasting times. We actually showed up to our appointment earlier than expected. I thought we might have to wait but they got a table set up very quickly for us. Their wines are big, bold reds that did not disappoint. We never felt rushed and the experience felt very personable. I would highly recommend Nicora to anyone who loves reds and wants to check out Tin City. I cant wait to open the GSM we purchased! We will definitely be back.

We had such a wonderful time at Nicora! The wines are fantastic! Evan is absolutely wonderful, as well! From the phone call to book our tasting to sitting down and enjoying this wonderful wine, our experience was fantastic and we will come back each time we are in Tin City!

Excellent hospitality, noteworthy wines, and contemporary location. We ended up at Nicora mostly by chance, as one of our original wine tasting plans cancelled last minute. I found Nicora by searching on maps and read some great reviews. We made a phone call, and got a reservation right away. It's a small tasting room, and primarily staffed by one person, Evan, who does a great job. By the time we arrived he had everything already set up for us, and we sat down outside to start tasting right away. One of my favorite things with wine tasting is actually learning the history of the winery, and their unique stories. Evan did a great job filling us in on everything. We learned about the history, the wines, local geography and harvesting, and more. Evan was informative and conversational, which he balanced very well with giving us our own time with the wines as well. The wines were excellent, and are well worth bringing some home. Located in Tin City, it is a perfect starting ground to walk to other tasting rooms. This seems like a relatively new area of Paso, built around the idea of tasting rooms being in close distance. It has a modern farm feel, and seems like a community of its own. We would definitely return here in the future and would love to check out more of Tin City.

This is one of our favorite wineries in Paso Robles. Nick makes such great wines and is such a wonderful guy. We always stop by whenever we visit and get a few bottles. The wine tasting is a personal and fun experience. This time we met with Evan the tasting room manager and really enjoyed ourselves. Sorry we missed Nick who was traveling at the time.

Nicora is simply amazing and is a must-do if you are in the Paso / Tin City area. This is the "hidden gem" of Paso. Every wine we tasted kept us wanting more and all of them were so so incredible!! Evan was AWESOME - so knowledgeable and what my husband and I like to say is "good people." Definitely worth the visit and we will be back!

We have been frequent visitors to Paso over the years and have had the opportunity to visit many of the great wineries in the area. This was our first time tasting at Nicora and we are so glad we did. Nick is definitely a winemaker to know. He is very passionate about what he is doing and has the gift, knowledge and skills to create exceptional wines. If you enjoy Syrah and Rhone Blends Nicora is not to be missed. Nicora is a pretty unknown winery but they are amazing and have the best Syrah I have had in some time! We had a really nice time tasting their wines !!!

Wine like you've never tasted so good. What a mouthful of flavor well rounded and a joy from the beginning to the finish. Then the fact they're nice people makes it a complete enjoyable experience. If you like reds hold on to your hats!

We enjoyed a wonderful tasting experience hosted by Jax. The wines were outstanding and the accompaniment of the cheese, dried fruit, crackers and olives were a delicious treat. Evan and Glenn also offered friendly, warm and welcoming conversation and information during our relaxing visit on the patio. During our last trip to Paso we visited 12 different wineries and Nicora was by far probably our favorite. The wines were delicious and Evan, the Tasting Room Manager was amazing. We became members right away not just because of what we tasted but because Of what we were excited to receive in the future knowing their passion for their vineyard and their reputation. This is a delightful winery in Tin City with an indoor and outdoor tasting area. We had a wonderful tasting experience and have since joining their wine club a few years back always enjoyed their Buxom and GSM wines. Nick is never one to disappoint and we look forward to visiting and enjoying their wines.

Have bought multiple Nicora blends regularly since nearly their start. Quality and consistency is superb. A boutique that is unique and thoughtful in their approach to Rhone wines.

As frequent visitors to Paso Robles since 2007 we tend to be very discerning when it comes to wine producers in this region. Nicora is ranked among the very best in our experience.

I've watched Nicora grow from a fledgling winery to a successful, but still small botique winery with the tasting room in Tin City. The wines are always great and the 2019 Grenache ("Euphoric") is truly a world class wine. Nicora is the best small winery in the Paso area.

The wine was terrific - every glass was enjoyable. Both of the folks working there were friendly and knowledgeable. We recommend to anyone who enjoys good wine in a more intimate setting!
