High quality art for a very affordable price. These are unique pieces crafted by 5 local artisan families. Really enjoyed the historic building that housed all the art. We purchased some ceramics and face masks that we are sure to enjoy for years to come.

I think we all wish we had a home with this kind of art everywhere. This is such a fun place to visit. A great selection of tasteful art and trinkets. The location is beautiful and the staff are very helpful.

I love Nidart! They have some truly amazing items in this store. My favorite pieces of art they sell are these pieces that are made from discarded beach materials (see photos). The artist (FB: Arte0222) uses seashells, driftwood, sea glass, stones, sticks, and feathers to create them.

Incredible! I don't know what more I can say about the gorgeous, hand-crafted leather art here. We bought a couple of pieces that were beautiful and my mind races at all of the possibilities for future custom designs. We are definitely going to work with them again!

This is a beautiful little gallery. The work is uniquely beautiful and reasonable. The handmade leather masks are like nothing I've ever seen. If you are looking for a unique gift or keepsake, this is your place. I wish I would have purchased more.

A gem of an art gallery. Beautiful art in an amazing setting. If in Mazatlan, get there! Love my leather art that is now hanging on my wall in Oregon.

Yelp
Nidart is a gorgeous art gallery/shop that really makes the most out of its space in creative and beautiful ways and will have its visitors wanting to discover every nook and cranny of its two floors of varied, eclectic, and handcrafted art. I think what stood out to me about this shop was also the thoughtful way it was able to integrate its pieces with its surroundings, whether it meant showcasing a small fountain that pops out of the floor, or its outdoor staircase blanked with greenery in the courtyard. So if you're ever in Mazatlán and looking for things to do in its historic and artsy downtown, put Nidart as one of the things you should do high on your list!

Yelp
I travel to Mexico quite a bit, and Mazatlan is a friendly little coastal city that gets a bad rap. One of my favorite things to do when I'm there is to browse the small art galleries that pepper the area around the historic district, and Nidart is one of the best. Featuring handmade art, pottery, and more, this is a great place to not only buy some very unique souvenirs, but to also support the local economy and the hardworking artists that call it home. Nidart has a huge gallery space (it's a working gallery, so you may see mom, dad, or their daughter creating when you visit -- and say "hi" to their resident tortie cat, too). Visitors are always welcome when the doors are open. We visited around the holidays and were able to pick up a half dozen handmade tin ornaments that were a huge hit as gifts for family and friends. I also purchased a gorgeous handmade bowl that's sitting on my kitchen table. If you love art, you should make a point to stop in. They accept pesos, U.S. dollars, debit cards, and credit cards. No games, no tricks with pricing like some of the big touristy stores. Look for the bright yellow and blue building. They allow photos, and the interior of the shop is perfect for unique photo ops.

Yelp
Every web site indicated they were open. We took a cab over and it was locked up. It's a shame that yelp and other sites can be so unreliable.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful gallery! Highly recommend seeking it out when visiting Mazaltan.

Yelp
Found this little gallery while walking around old Mazatlan. It has some very nice, affordable pieces. A lot of souvenir-type things, but also some beautiful displays. They have a small water feature of a girl spinning with butterflies around her. The water trickles from the ruffles in her dress and the slowly spins. I could go on describing, but I posted a picture of her instead. Just so much to loom at and want to purchase. The store is part of the family home, expanded to two buildings and renovated to include an archway between the two. There is a lovely courtyard with a very old, viney tree in the middle. The young lady working the counter told us that the buildings are over a hundred years old. She spoke. Other Spanish and English, which helped us as my Spanish is no bueno! The store is located close to the Teatro Angela Peralta, on the corner of Calle Carnaval and Calle Libertad. We will definitely go back on our next visit. If you are in Mazatlan, I highly recommend a visit.

Yelp
Very nice small gallery featuring local art and crafts. Some unusual items. Right in the old section of Mazatlán.

Yelp
Beautiful, hand made, leather art you will want to display on wall. Not the typical "souvenir shop". Reasonably priced. A must visit while in Mazatlan, Mexico.
