Nidhra Lanna Hotel

Great location and even better staff. The room was spacious and way bigger and better than I expected. The bathrooms were clean but could use a deep clean as there was a slight odour of urine in the air. There is also loud music playing outside at night but the staff is happy to give earplugs. I absolutely loved this hotel. There is a laundromat next door and a really cute breakfast spot next door as well.

This will be a fun review! They are selling this in booking as a 4-star hotel and 3 star in Google. In all honesty, this is simply a guess house, and if it was a 20 euro, a night would be normal, but it isn't. We actually found 5 Star Hotel on the same price later on. Look, it is nice to be high in life, we all need that feeling once in a while, but the reality is completely different. The stuff were lovely, but in Thailand, all the people are, so this is given, and it's not the guest house privilege. The rate is totally misleading. No elevator, no lobby, no water for the weekend and If that's not enough for you, the mega noisy boulevard and the canal with the rats, directly right in front of the "hotel " will complete your joy. Seriously, don't pay more than 20-30 a night for that!

Clean, the room is beautiful and charming with style. Located in the heart of Chiang Mai. The staff provides excellent service, especially the one on the morning shift.

I had a wonderful stay here! The hotel is modern and in great condition. The mattress is very comfortable (no rock hard Thai bed!). Excellent location. The staff is very friendly and helped me with my questions. Plus there was netflix on tv! Yes there is no lift but it was easy to take the stairs, I don't mind.

We are totally disappointed with this hotel. In no way this is a 3 star or even less a 4 star hotel as stated in Booking. We had reserved the hotel for 3 nights, 2 of which we had no electricity and water. They had left some note that they would cut off the electricity on 8.03 and on 09.03 they had stuck the same note under the door that they would have no water again and they had not even bothered to change the date. The rooms smell terrible and imagine how at 35 degrees you are left without air conditioning and water for a whole day. I will just mention that because the hotel is next to the canal, rats run around in the evening and there are homeless people, there is no cafe or restaurant and there is no real reception, there is no elevator, and we were accommodated on the 4th floor. Since we are in Thailand for a month and a half, you can imagine how we carried 4 suitcases up to the 4th floor. The worst thing of all was that the rooms are so poorly insulated and the joinery is so cheap that you can even hear people talking in front on the street. There are bars and a park nearby and a lot of people gather there, shouting and drinking all night long, and adding to that the hotel is located right on the boulevard, it was absolutely impossible to sleep because of the noise of the cars and the loud street. A total disappointment, there are much better hotels in Chiang Mai even at a lower price. I recommend you think carefully before choosing Nidhra Lanna.

The only downside of this hotel is that there is no elevator—only stairs. The hotel is in an excellent location, with everything you need. If you turn left, you’ll find a great coffee shop in Soi Chang Moi, and there are plenty of massage places nearby. The room is very clean and spacious, with strong Wi-Fi. It has all the essentials you might need. The staff make this hotel even more special—they are extremely helpful, friendly, and always ready to provide great recommendations. This place is truly great value for money. The family room, in particular, comes with two large twin beds, each 6 feet wide. If you’re traveling with friends, you’ll sleep very comfortably. This might be the biggest bed size available in the area!

Truly a great hotel. I spent 7 nights here and it wasn’t enough! The rooms are spotless and spacious, the bed is so comfortable and the bathroom (and bathtub in particular) are so nice. Staff is really sweet. I felt like I could really relax. 10/10, just book.

STAY AWAY! We arrived and there was no one in the reception. The smell was weird from the outside, like some kind of strong glue. Our room was in the second floor, no elevator and no one offered to carry our luggage. But then, the worst part came! The smell in the room was unbearable, strong sewage smell, the kind you cannot withstand.. the receptionist came and immediately agreed the smell is awful, apologized and tried to move us to another room in another floor ) (We carried our luggage), and the smell there was the same. We just looked for a simple, nice place in a nice location, but ping ourselves looking for another hotel because we couldn’t stay there.. And even though the receptionist agreed with and did nothing but apologizing, we didn’t get our money back. Very bad experience and service
