We have worked our way through the menu at Nido and every dish is amazing. The cocktails are interesting and well balanced, and the servers are friendly and helpful. It’s a date night favorite for us.

Very hip. I should like the place more than I actually did—the drinks pack a punch, the vibe is cool (I was shazaming every other song playing)—but the value and taste of the food itself was subpar. Maybe I was expecting the food to be as flavorful as the drinks, but their $25 special with one mole chick leg left me hangry. Service was also a bit weird. It felt like we had at least three servers and had to constantly relay what we had just discussed with the last.

Food and drinks were amazing as well as the service! We tried two of their vegan tacos and a pulled pork one. My fave of all three was the Sope De Calabaza Al Pastor (vegan) — it was so darn flavorful! I left four stars because the place had a slight dirty mop water smell.

This place was amazing and delicious. It's Mexican fare, but it's neither traditional Mexican, more traditional Americanized Mexican. They use inventive ingredients and all the flavors pop in an exciting way. It's little bit of a hike from other areas in Oakland, but it was worth the trek. The mezcal is good too!

Delicious, Delicious, Delicious!! If you enjoy homemade everything than this place is a must. The chicken mole quesadilla is a good representation of a Oaxaca style mole. Yummy!! According to my man, The pork belly Gordita is AH-MAZE-ING!! The michelada was spicy. The decor is a bonus! This place is super cute.

Nice Sunday dinner at this restaurant. No long queue and open sitting. Fixed $5 tacos 🌮 and $11 cocktails 🍹. Their vegetarian tacos tasted really great. You can feel good quality ingredients like 🧀 cheese and other stuffing.

Let’s start with ambience, really cool Decour and dimly lit. The server was cool she had a tendency to you know what we needed the drinks were just OK nothing special one drink was actually really good the “Sierra Norte”. The reason why I gave this restaurant four stars instead of five, was because the food doesn’t live up to the price point. The food was just OK it’s food that you can make at your house but it’s pretty expensive and I’m not sure that’s because it’s in Jack London Square or what it is but for the price point they should definitely add some type of zest to the food make it stand out it was just a basic meal that you could’ve created yourself. The salad was substantial but still, not worth a second try for me.

Very cute trendy restaurant. The entire place was packed for Saturday brunch. The bar was full with a lively crowd. The food was very flavorful and the cocktails had a great kick
