Cheap and clean. Showers are very nice (high pressure water) and more up to date than the rest of the room and toilet facilities. Comfortable mattresses and good Windows for avoiding unwanted noise. Excellent location. Welcoming staff. It needs a refurbishment but can't complain for the price (50 euros for a 3-bed room on a Saturday right in the city centre)

Not the most luxurious hotel but fantastic staff. Very friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and well maintained and the bed was unusually comfortable. By no means luxurious but really good value for money and within fairly easy walking distance of just about everything

We were booked into this hotel by others. Our fifth floor room was small and dark, though clean, as was the small bathroom. However, the sound-proofing was poor - we could hear our neighbours talking and coughing -, and the doors have to be slammed shut. The breakfast room is tiny and on the days we were there it was fully occupied by a large group, so it was almost impossible even to squeeze into the room. The breakfast choice was very limited and the coffee was from an automat - this seems to be standard now but the coffee is terrible. We were able to get a decent cup of coffee at the cafe over the road at 8am but it does not open on Sundays. The staff were friendly and helpful, but I would not recommend this hotel for comfort - I realise it is very cheap and so might be considered good value.

I have been coming to A Coruna for just over a year now and I always stay at The Nido. The staff are very friendly and always on hand to give advice. The hotel is small but the rooms are clean and the wifi is good and free. There are two balcony rooms on the 5th floor which are brighter than some of the other rooms but they are also a bit noisier with the sound of the traffic below. I still like to stay in them as it's nice to watch people bustling about and nice to sit with a supermarket picnic on the rare dry days! It is not a 5 star hotel and it is quite dated but it is in a great location and I always feel safe staying here. The breakfast is very basic but freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and toast is enough to keep the hunger pangs at bay until lunchtime.

I stayed at many accommodations over the course of my visit to Italy late August 2020, but none could top the amazingly attentive service and beautiful standards of cleanliness/care of Il Nido. (Actually one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in and should honestly be rated higher than a 3-star, in my opinion.) ||||Family owned and operated, I received a warm introduction to Sorrento by Dino when I arrived, who I believe is part of the family. All of the staff wore face masks, were very helpful/knowledgeable about Sorrento, and were exceptionally polite. I visited for my birthday and they made the day so, so special...||||The rooms look to be newly renovated, were attentively cleaned by the housekeeping every day, included mint-on-the-pillow service, and had absolutely incredible views of all of sorrento/Vesuvius. Everything I tried at the restaurant was exceptional, freshly made, and very affordable considering the high quality. (Truly of the best meals I had in Italy was their lemon risotto!)||||It’s clear that these owners put an extreme amount of heart and care into what they do and hoping they see the light at the end of this pandemic. They are a small business that really deserves the demand and I will be returning again one day/will be recommending Nido to all my friends and family visiting Sorrento!

I stayed at this hotel on a solo trip to La Coruna and Santiago de Compostela. It was a very basic hotel, good for a brief stay. The bed was an old spring mattress, not the most comfortable, but not terrible. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the staff was very friendly, answering any questions I had about the city. The location was OK, right by the beach, if that's what you're there for. However, I wanted to see the sites and had to do a bit of walking. Same went for getting to the bus or train stations- it's about a twenty-five minute walk, but it's only 15 minutes by bus, 10 by taxi. I would recommend it to those who aren't spending much time in the city, or in the hotel itself either.

I made the mistake of waiting until the last minute when flying out of A Coruña to Sevilla, and needed a place to stay the night before my flight. Little did I know that the Copa de Rey was happening, and almost everywhere was booked, or prices were insanely high. This place was very centrally located, and the room was basic and served its purpose. There was some noise, but it didn't bother me too much. I will say that the people working at reception were extremely friendly and took the time to give me a map and explain where the bus stop for the airport was. Also there is free wifi and it did work in my room on the third floor which is not always the case in my experience in Spain! A good basic place for a good price.
