Niedermairhof - Boutique & Breakfast Hotel

This place is an absolute gem! The whole place is so beautifully renovated, with a mix of old and new with excellent taste. The room was spacious and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, with all the little details that make a stay memorable. The host went the extra mile and was such a kind and friendly person. We would highly recommend and will definitely come back!

We were really looking forward to staying here after having to cancel our trip in 2020 due to travel restrictions and we were not disappointed. |This beautiful old building has been lovingly restored and updated in the most charming way honouring its past while updating it to reflect today’s standards and conveniences. |Our room/ suite “In Der Kehr” was very spacious and comfortable with lovely views out over the garden.|Breakfast each morning was varied and fresh with something different each morning to try. The lovely young lady serving was delightful as well. |The attic conversion into a lounge area was the perfect use of what is usually wasted space, the views out over Brunico are just gorgeous. |There is a lovely big garden to the rear of the property as well as secure parking if you are driving. |It is only a short flat walk to the township of Brunico where you will find plenty of dining options. |Finally, Kathrin the owner was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations, she obviously has a passion for what she does as it shines through and this is what makes this B&B so exceptional.

We had a fantastic time in Bruneck, and part of the positive experience was thanks to our stay in Nidermaierhof. Good breakfast, very clean and modern rooms, fantastic personal attention from the owner and the staff. 100% recommendable!

I’m not sure if I will find the right words to describe this. It is outstanding what Kathrin and Helmut did out of the old guesthouse. To have a lovely, delicious breakfast in such an ambient is just the tip of the iceberg! Wait until you see the sauna! |We went there with our children aged 3 and 5 for our ski vacation and arrived late because of a car problem and Kathrin avaited us despite late hours.|The property is just shy 10 min with the car from the Kronplatz ski resort and 5 min to the Brunico city center.|A must see , fully renovated and restored guesthouse, where lots of attention was paid to details and materials. If you are a architect lover, ask Kathrin for the diary book of the renovation process. Oh! They pulled this off with two little children.

The best B&B (or small inn?) we have ever stayed in, this building was where the current owner grew up. She was the driving force behind its modernization and complete renovation as a bed and breakfast. The "design interventions" very much keep the form of the original but create new and unusual spaces within. Since we displayed a keen interest, the owner was happy to give us a tour of the unoccupied rooms, all of which have extraordinary details, such as hidden TV's, recurring motifs, and gorgeous color choices. We had a "standard" room which far exceeded anything "standard" I've experienced elsewhere. The breakfast was also wonderful, with a buffet laid out and other items (eggs, etc) cooked to your liking. I only wish we had been able to spend more time here! If arriving by train, this is a short walk from the Brunico NORD station. It is also a very short walk to the South Tyrollean Folklore Museum - an open air museum with many structures moved to the site from across the region. The owner gives great advice on places to eat, transportation, etc.

We were so fortunate to find this amazing old manor house, with architecturally stunning contemporary rooms. Bathroom - the best we have found anywhere in the world. Breakfasts - brilliant. Anyone travelling in Northern Italy - or Austria, Germany - this place is absolutely - worth a detour. Really lovely hosts - Kathrin and Helmuth - who cannot do enough for guests.

Beautiful hotel, recently completely renovated. Very near the ski piste with ample of possibilities for dining and outdoor activities. Parking is available as well as storage for ski's and ski shoe warming. Rooms are very spacious and modern with very cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended for a weekend getaway.

We absolutely adored this place and it’s proprietor! The rooms are spacious, immaculate and so tastefully decorated. Conveniently located and surrounded by beautiful landscaping and wildflowers. Khirsten is delightful and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants in town. I didn’t want to leave!
