This place has the best milkshakes! I really love the spicy cheese fries as well. Also it’s an aesthetic with neon signs/ lights and just a fun place to go (it’s 1950s themed restaurant with a menu of Philly favorites)

Places Epik high should eat at when they come to Philly

Took my niece and nephew here after going to "Otherworldly" across the street. We enjoyed it, the kids realllllly did. There are a plethora of milkshake options to choose from. Some of which were very unique. We sat at the counter because it was available immediately. Nice choice of seating. The milkshake portions are quite large so our server suggested I get one for the kids to split. I appreciated that! Food was tasty and satisfying. Will be back!

Nifty Fifty is a great spot—especially since it’s open late at night. It definitely surprised us with its charming 50s-style diner vibe, but what really stood out were the milkshake options. We tried the Brownie Cookie Batter milkshake and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough milkshake—both were delicious. We also ordered cheese fries and a small chicken nuggets, and just a heads-up—the portions are huge! We got smalls and still couldn’t finish everything, even while splitting it. The staff was friendly, though it did take a bit to get water and place our order. I’d definitely go back when a solid milkshake craving hits. The fries were decent—nothing mind-blowing—but the seasoning on the chicken nuggets was a little odd and might catch some people off guard. I personally liked it.

I had dinner here a few weeks ago with my sisters because we noticed it right across the street as we were leaving Otherworld and loved the classic theme and aesthetic from the outside. When we got inside we were in no way disappointed. Despite being a very busy holiday weekend we waited no more than 10 minutes to be seated because the entire staff stayed attentive and productive. Our waitress, (maybe named Kylee, it was a few weeks ago, I don't remember for certain) was so sweet and helpful and made sure we wanted for nothing. Though the food itself wasn't anything amazing, it certainly wasn't bad, especially considering the price and how quickly it was served. There is an enormous selection of milkshakes, and each of the three flavors my sisters and tried were so good that we'll definitely stop back to try more flavors the next time we're in the area.

Our server Riley was incredibly nice, polite, and patient. I ordered chicken fingers and a milkshake, and both were 10/10 in terms of both flavor and price. Will definitely visit again, and would recommend

Nifty Fifty's has been one of, if not my favorite restaurant. After the location in Bensalem burned down, I was distraught, but luckily this location is just how I remember the other one being. Let's start with the food, my beloved Nifty Fifty's cheese wiz. If it's your first time coming, I'd recommend the fries no matter what. They're well-seasoned, almost always fresh, and go perfectly with their cheese wiz. As far as sandwiches, I'd recommend their fried chicken cutlet. It comes on a kaiser roll with cheese wiz and pickles, and that's all it needs. Everything (from my experience) is always fresh, and tastes just as good as the last time I had it. There's also a mountain of soda and milkshake options, which makes me believe that they're using some sort of spells behind the kitchen. I'm a little mixed on the atmosphere. On one hand, it's clean, it looks like a diner from the 50s, and it's comfortable. But on the other, when it's busy the seating can get quite uncomfortable. One time, there was a large party that was loud and disrespectful, and the seating didn't help as we were practically sitting WITH them. Wasn't fun. Other than the seating, I believe Nifty Fifty's is the best place around for 'junk food'. I've never had bad service here, and I will be looking forward to any new locations. I love this place with all my tiny little putrid heart.

This place offers excellent customer service. You are greeted and taken to your table. With a suggestion to enjoy your meal. The quality of the food and the wide variety of selections is top notch. They offer over 100 selections of milk shakes. Their loaded fries are like no other. The onion rings are so large until you will wonder where did they get these onions. Our sever Riley made sure we were satisfied. She made suggestions and delivered timely. The servings are plentiful and the food is delicious. It was so good until I’m looking forward to going back soon. Although at times it may appear crowded. They will get you in and served efficiently with great food and service.

Google
Yeah, you should eat here. Around 11 on a Saturday it’s not too busy and you’ll get a seat. The service is quick and the burgers come out steaming hot. Breakfast is served until 12 in the afternoon. ⭐️🍪You may want to wait to get the milkshakes, to go. They are big and will fight for a spot in your belly with the food. Enjoy your time there 👍🏽

Google
Came all the way from nyc .Milkshakes are hands down the best I've ever tasted in my life. I ordered the salted Carmel, and my partner had the Almond joy, which was also a delight. For dinner, we ordered the filet mignon with bacon burger and chicken and waffles. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly. The sandwich was delicious. My partner enjoyed his chicken and waffles, which were breaded, seasoned, and cooked perfectly. If ur thinking of going here, don't think and just go, u won't regret it . The customer service is 10 out of 10. I believe my waiter's name was Daniel. Thanks again. That french toast milkshake was mind-blowing

Yelp
Came here for breakfast. Got the fresh OJ, egg whites, turkey sausage. All delicious and the service outstanding! Such nice people!

Yelp
We came here for lunch. It was such a great experience. The prices are great for what you get. They offer milkshakes, burgers, chicken and more.

Yelp
I liked milkshakes here, nice spot for visiting. Friendly stuff and very polite. nice food too.

Yelp
I love this staple of "bar food" in the Philadelphia area. The service here was pretty terrible. We had to ask multiple times for seating and had to call our waitress a couple times to our table. The spicy cheese nuggets were ok. I didn't think they were too spicy and the cheese definitely didn't add to the chicken nuggets like I thought it would. The salted caramel cheesecake was delicious. There was some kind of biscuit consistency that really added an amazing taste to the shake.

Yelp
This place is disgusting. It's never clean and the food is always soggy when I pick it up tossed together with no care. The girls on the phone aways have an attitude with you like they are doing you a favor. They leave you on hold for 20+ minutes then forget about you. Just wanted to place a simple order however the girl on the phone would transfer me every time without communication and being aware that I was just on hold for 20 minutes two separate times prior. She had time to laugh in the background every time though. Been coming here since the early 90's and I will never again come back to a nifty fifty's anywhere. Unprofessional, unclean and rotten attitude towards customers.

Yelp
It's your typical diner esque decor. Very busy but they get you seated right away and service is fast. Royal Filet Burger: 3.5/5 love love love the bun on this burger. The onion rings were good too. Nice melty American cheese. The filet had a good cook but overall it can't beat good ground beef. There isn't much flavor to the beef. If it was a chargrilled filet mignon then this would've been a great idea. Chicken and Waffle: 5/5 amazing waffles with a great fried chicken. It was crispy and juicy and surprisingly most of time you get dry chicken with this kind of order. Spicy Cheese Fries: 5/5 can't go wrong with hot fries and cheese topped with spices. Overall 4/5 pretty good place to come and try their food especially when you are craving some burgers

Yelp
Being in NF makes me feel transported back into qn old timey diner. The decor and food definitely fit the vibe. The cod sandwich was a little dry and they didn't give me tar tar sauce until I asked. Milkshakes were LARGE and phenomenal tasting (although sweet) and highly recommend the apple pie milkshake since the chunks were delicious. Service was slow as the whole restaurant was packed. It was loud and crowded but I was at a seat-yourself counter seat so service was a bit faster.

Yelp
The atmosphere is very welcoming if you like old school music. It great when you want large portions for a bargain go! Great food and good for family gatherings!

Yelp
Nifty spot! Must return for Milkshakes! Stopped into the Nifty Fifty's in Northeast Philly, seems like they have about 8 or so places throughout the Philly area. It's an absolute gem for breakfast & classic diner lovers. I had stopped in recently for a delightful morning feast and the place was quaint and charming, to say the least. To kickstart my day, I had a steaming cup of black coffee to spark my neurons and paired that with the very hearty & meaty Cheese Steak Omelet. Boy, that was a flavor-packed delight, keeping it simple on ingredients with American cheese, steak slices, and eggs accompanied by hash browns with fried onions in the mix. It was a heavenly breakfast pairing, alongside a side of crispy rye toast to give it all a bit more crunch in each bite. The ambiance takes you back to a bygone era, with its 1950s-style diner setting and the nostalgic doo-wop music playing on their speaker system, with a friendly staff and clean environment. Parking was a breeze as it was surrounded by a bunch of shops. I'm already planning my return visit to dive into their extensive milkshake menu with categories like "exotic" and "dessert," I can only imagine the tantalizing options awaiting me!

Yelp
The food was good I had a turkey burger with fries and my daughter had veggie burger with cheese fries I would recommend this place it a 10 out of 10 for me

Yelp
Ordered 5 milkshakes , only got 4 of them. Didn't realize til it was too late. Ordered Smothered Buffalo Chicken Fries, got a potato instead of fries in my order and the chicken breast's were cut into 4s instead of chunks. Spicy Cheese Nuggets were slightly overcooked but not a huge deal. I swear everytime I order from this place it is worse and worse. Not sure who's in charge but they need to reevaluate their life.

Andru R.

Yelp
The food was extremely good. It had lots of flavor. It was warm. The hash browns were cooked very well. The eggs were done to perfection. They were not dry at all which is hard to do in an omelette. The atmosphere is a nice 1950s got the old school music going. Nice booze, clean restaurant. It was very comfortable to sit and eat in. Wasn't busy. The service every time I've been there has been incredibly good. They have always been extremely friendly. Extremely helpful and want to make your experiences nice as possible.

Yelp
The service was the best part about our experience. Our server (I think her name was Erin?) was friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself had a cool 50s vibe. It was busy, but we were seated immediately. The milkshakes and soda fountain were incredible. The cheesesteaks were perfectly fine, but there are better options if you are only interested in food. The menu had enough variety that even my picky kids found meals they liked.

Yelp
Met up with my boyfriend and his daughters for some dinner on a Friday night. The line was out the door which we anticipated. Wound up only waiting about 15 minutes when they had a table for four available! We enjoyed milk shakes, a burger, chicken sandwich, cheese steak and chicken tenders. Everything was great!

John H.

Yelp
This place is hit or miss. Sometimes the food is amazing and sometimes it's terrible. You get what you get.
google avatar

Michael L.

Yelp
When entering there is a line to order. Finished ordering paid and then when we went to sit we were told since we ordered when we came in that's to go only and we could not sure at a C table only the counter. Counter was noisy and they refused to seat us elsewhere. Company policy, which lost them a$35 check They were busy I doubt they missed us. Refund received and went down the road and had a wonderful meal elsewhere.
google avatar

Yelp
I am not a big fan of tremendously huge cheese tarps covering my food, it mostly makes me suspicious of what it is covering up. The fries are very fresh and really need no cheese at all. But during those moments when you just want to dip, it's best ordering the orange cheese sauce on the side. The issue with the fries though is the amount of salt on them. It is extreme and unnecessary. The burgers are okay....I want to like them, have even tried getting them with different toppings...but they still taste rather bland. We stopped dining inside due to the noise level and chaos and utilized pick up in the past, but there are just too many excellent burger joints nearby to merely settle.

Yelp
It's hit or miss in Nifty's the last few years but we went last night and it was excellent. Kori was our waitress and she brought us waters as we were seated. Came back a few minutes later for our order. Let us know that my milkshake would be out shortly and then shortly after, let us know our food was coming. A little attention goes a long way. She did everything right and she's the best server we've had in years. The manager, Paul, was also attentive and did a great job with a minor issue. Food was hot and delicious and served exactly as requested. Wanted to commend them both for a great job!

Yelp
Yum! I love coming here when I don't feel like cooking dinner lol the service is usually prompt, the staff are always pleasant and the food is always good. Of course I have to get my impossible burger every time I'm here but my boyfriend says their traditional burgers are delicious as well. The spicy fries and cotton candy soda are my go to... Still haven't had a shake yet as I never have room for it when I leave--Might have to stop here just for a shake someday!

Yelp
If you are craving a basic "cheap" juicy burger OR a good hearty milkshake OR both, Nifty Fifty's is definitely your spot. They are usually packed at this location during lunch and dinner hours so do expect anywhere from a 10 to 45 minute wait if you're going during those hours. Their burgers are good. It's your standard burger (they do cook them a bit well so if you like your burgers a bit pinker make sure to ask for medium/medium rare). I would skip the fries for onion rings, esp. if you like your fries crispy. The picture shows a buffalo chicken loaded fries but even the fries that weren't over in the sauce were limp and borderline soggy. BUT their onion ring! OMG! Amazing! Crunchy outside, fried to perfection and you can actually see/taste the onion ring on the inside. Always order a milkshake if you go. It's the best part! :D Definitely my go-to date spot if we're craving a cheap juicy burger or a speciality milkshake but don't want to travel all the way to Center City.

Yelp
I got home late last night and did not feel like cooking and wanted to find something different to eat. I decided to order from Nifty Fifty's and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the spicy chicken nuggets for my husband and the regular nuggets for myself. The barbecue sauce was really good!! I wish that they filled up the container just a little bit more (I went through my sauce pretty quickly since it was not all the way full and definitely could have used more). My husband and I both really liked our nuggets! We also both ordered drinks - he got the Sprite and I got a vanilla Coke. The Sprite ended up being a green color (I believe it is because the syrups are made from scratch, isn't ACTUAL Sprite). It tasted really sweet, almost like a sweet tea (it didn't really taste like Sprite) so my husband wasn't a huge fan of it. I didn't mind my vanilla Coke, but it didn't have a strong vanilla flavor and it almost tasted like a Diet Coke. In addition, we both ordered milkshakes - he got the Chocolate Oreo Exotic (I'm not sure what the Exotic means, as there were a few milkshakes with this term), and I ordered the Black Raspberry. The milkshake was DELICIOUS and came in a super cute cup that appeared to be slightly insulated (so the milkshake wouldn't melt). Super genius and very much appreciated! I will definitely order again!!

Yelp
This is my 3rd time going here i ordered a triple burger and they served it to me on a Kaiser roll the fries were like wood chips for your Smoker and the sweet tea had absolutely no sugar in it...The wait staff is always pleasant my Server was a sweetheart despite me not being please with the food at all i still tipped her nicely
google avatar

Yelp
Best milkshakes around! I go to Nifty Fifties with my parents whenever I'm back in town. This time we got milkshakes to-go, and I love that they put them in aluminum cups to keep the milkshakes cold on the drive! Mom and dad always go for the staple extra thick vanilla and chocolate shake, and I went for the Reese's milkshake this time

Yelp
I absolutely love Nifty Fifty's. This place is by far one of the most nostalgic places that brings back so many memories. I use to go to this place all the time in college and it's just one of those cheap places that has good quick food. They have such a good veggie burger that is fresh and I had their burgers pre vegetarian and can attest they are also good. But the winners are the loaded fries ranking from cheesesteak fries and buffalo chicken fries. My all time favorite is the cheesy onion rings... I DREAM about these things. You cannot pass them out, they are addicting. The milkshakes are the thing most people go for. It's the top thing you need to go for. They have so many options ranging from cannoli, to peanut butter & jelly, to butterscotch krimpets!!! It's absolutely amazing, must stop in Philadelphia, but it is addicting.

Zakee R.

Yelp
Terrible. Waiter messed up my beyond burger 3 times. He even had the nerve to sit a turkey burger in front of my face the 2nd time. I asked him directly, "is this a beyond burger?" he looked me right in my face and respond "Yes." Third time around, he simply forgot the cheese on my cheeseburger. I was simply fed up. Spoke to the manager, told him the situation and demanded a free burger for my numerous times of inconvenience. He tells me no because they've already wasted 3 burgers. As a customer, that isn't my fault. I have to take medicine before I eat and I took medicine for a burger that wasn't even given to me. Went home hungry and frustrated. Don't go here.

Dan M.

Yelp
We went to the one on Grant Ave in Phila, near US1. The chipped beef on toast was sub-par. Not as much creamed beef on the toast. The potatoes looked like frozen ones. Stringy, not sliced as they usually are. Food quality took a nose dive. Don't know if it was a new cook or is their food doing downhill. I may not go back for a comparasion. Tiffany's Diner up the road would be my next go to.

Susan T.

Yelp
this is the first time I've been to nifty 50, and my last. I ordered my favorite chicken cheesesteak, the chicken came not shaved or sliced, but in chunks that were overcooked and crunchy and I did try to eat some, but gave the rest to my dog. He doesn't care what he eats. The onion rings were OK but they don't give you enough petal sauce to go with the amount of onion rings. The milkshake was good. The service was excellent.

Yelp
We've been coming here for decades - pretty much any time we drive from New York to Philadelphia. The look and overall ambience of the place is a treat for weary travelers. Muic from the fifties and sixties. The main draw though is the food. When you order organge juice, they go and squeeze an orange on the spot. I always get the scrapple instead of sausage, and whatever you order comes out great. Service is uniformly excellent. Plenty of parking. It's all good.
google avatar

Yelp
My wife and I came here a few evenings ago for dinner. We stood there at the front of a crowded store, where it is nothing but GrubHub, DoorDash, and Uber eats drivers standing around, waiting for their orders. Compounding the overcrowding at the front of the store entry is the fact that there is no room to leave incoming guests standing around while departing guests are trying to exit through this very same crowded space. It becomes gridlock there at the front of the store. We stood there at the sign that said "please wait here to be seated" and after about seven or eight minutes had passed and at least five different employees looking at us without so much a saying "I'll be right with you" or even making effort to acknowledge us, we just left. This is not a staff problem... This is a management problem and this location is being poorly managed. Hopefully this is advice is well received and you can rectify the problem that you don't seem to be cognizant of. For what it's worth, we simply went to Friendly's and spent our money there.

Yelp
The Goat!!! I love this original location the best. It has a cool 1950s vibe with the booths, jukeboxes and soda fountain. Plexiglass partitions are between each booth. We were seated right away. It wasn't crowded around 530 but was when we left. It took about 15 min and asking for our waitress to come over though. She was very nice but kind of slow. We aired awhile for our food too but other people around us who came after had their food. The food is sooo good! They make the best milkshakes! Perfectly mixed. The fries are also excellent-hot and crispy! The chicken nuggets are all meat and crisply fried. The filet mug in sandwich is an excellent piece of meat with no fat, cooked perfectly medium served on a Kaiser bun. I had mine with Swiss cheese and mushrooms. My husband loved his bacon cheeseburger. Such a fun place with delicious food!

Yelp
Changing my review based solely on the food- the food is always so fresh and tastes so good whenever I come, but the service is where they fall short. I came in on a Sunday with a party of 7 and the line to wait was out the door- with us at the front waiting to be seated. We waited about 30-40 mins just to get a table. While you wait there isn't much space between the dine in and take out lines so you are constantly in someone's way. The building needs more organization when it comes to waiting- I know the area is small but there has to be a way around it other then being in a crowd in the way of people who are taking out. Maybe they need to expand the building or there needs to be another building on another location- because the amount of people waiting in line to eat was insane! Philly needs another Nifty Fifty location, who can we write to, to make this happen? anyway the food was great- by the time we sat down I was in full beast mode cause I was so hungry- so I ordered a royal burger- a cheese burger topped with a fresh from scratch onion ring. I also ordered 6 chicken nuggets but they didn't taste like anything I remember- they breading lacked flavor so I ended up not eating them and giving them to my niece and nephew. We also ordered cheese fries and they were smothered in cheese! Just the way we like them. Everyone was chomping on their meals, and my niece and nephew were verbally expressing with mmm sounds as they ate. We were stuffed by the time we finished but we all ordered milkshakes- I got the mint Oreo which is my favorite, someone ordered a strawberry one, a birthday cake one and a plain Oreo milkshake. There was nothing but compliments about the food and how good it was. The only down fall like my previous reviews is the service. Waiting in the lines to just sit down was terrible, and our waitress kept forgetting about us and took forever to get us refills or anything else we needed. But since the food tasted so good I'm eating it 4 stars and for the fact that a table of 7 all ate and were stuffed and had dessert for only $115 I think it was an awesome deal!

Jennifer W.

Yelp
service was so slow...20 mins for someone to take our order and waitress was not friendly to us but were jolly to others. Order the loaded fries and fries were definitely old or sitting out before handed over. burgers were dry. milkshake was the only decent thing deserving stars.

Yelp
All ways a good stop when I'm in the mood. Just finished a Texas ringer burger and black and white shake

David D.

Yelp
This is for takeout only! Every time my work orders from this place there are always things missing. Today 7 people ordered most getting more than one item. So 3 of us were missing an item. I got both of mine the burger was good but cold. My spicy cheese fries were ice cold hard and barely any cheese or spices $6 fries in the trash and this happens often. I'm done as far as eating there I never really have a problem!

Ben B.

Yelp
One of the best old school diner burgers you can ask for! They have great service and the old 50s decor is the best. Don't forget to get a milkshake with that burger! The BEST milkshakes around!

Bigg M.

Yelp
food was terrible this new nifty fifties on old York rd food does not taste like the other niftie fifties stay away
google avatar

G M.

Yelp
Well above average food quality. Most items are made with fresh (never frozen) ingredients, even the burgers and fries. The perpetual crowds are strong evidence that the food is great. Two stars removed for the extremely slow service, sky-high prices, and heavy traffic. But it is definitely worth coming here just for the bacon cheeseburgers and vanilla shakes. Yummy!

Yelp
Nifty Fifty's is junk food heaven! It is every kid dream restaurant. I think they love it cause they are familiar with all the food items especially the 100 different flavors of sodas and like 50 flavors of milkshakes! I came to nifty fifty's with my nephew to celebrate his 9 year old birthday! When we arrived at the restaurant we noticed the long line that was literally out the door. We decided to continue to wait and before we knew it the line begin to pick up and our overall wait was around 20 minutes. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. While looking through our menus we had the option to order burgers, chicken nuggets, salads, breakfast etc. I choose the cheesesteak fries and my nephew ordered a cheesesteak. I also ordered the banana foster milkshake and my nephew had of course the birthday cake milkshake cause it's a celebration of his 9 years on Earth lol! Overall we both enjoyed our food. My fav was the banana foster milkshake it was creamy and thick. It had chunks of bananas inside yum! I tried the birthday cake shake which was equally good with sprinkles, cake pieces and and strawberry ice cream. Will I visit Nifty Fifty's again- of course especially if I'm going with children 18 and under!

Yelp
A Philadelphia favorite! A classic. I'd miss Nifty's if I moved to a different state. This place is always packed for a reason: best milkshakes and fries. Walked in around 2:30 this afternoon. Looked crowded, but there wasn't a wait AND we got a booth! Winning. Our server was John. He was an older gentleman, very courteous and polite though. We started off with milkshakes and waters. I ordered the banana fudge dream milkshake and John said that I had made an excellent choice. My boyfriend got the strawberry cheesecake milkshake. There's a new Beyond Meat burger on their menu now, which replaces the old veggie burger they were serving for years. For those that don't know, Beyond Burgers are plant-based and suitable for vegans and vegetarians. I ordered the Beyond Burger with cheese and mayo on the side. There was no cheese on my burger when it arrived at the table. My boyfriend ordered the Double Bacon Cheeseburger. His came out with all the toppings he requested on it. Spicy cheese fries -- no regrets, just love. French fries smothered in cheese and old bay seasoning. That's the tea. The inside of the establishment was clean. I noticed other waiters and waitresses wiping down tables so I know they take cleanliness seriously and don't wait until the bus boys come out to take care of it. Pretty cheap food and good service. You can't beat it!

Yelp
It's all about the shakes! This visit I skipped the ice cream and had chicken tenders with the bacon ranch fries. I liked that the bacon was cut into fairly large pieces and not like bacon bits. My nephew ordered the holy cannoli shake and he was excited to see/taste the pieces of chocolate chips. It really did taste like a cannoli! Our server, Tony, was very patient and kind. He answered our questions and was sure to let us know of different options on the menu.

Yelp
Took 55 minutes for a cheeseburger, cheesesteak, a fry, and 2 milkshakes. The cheeseburger was the size of a toddler's fist, cold, burnt, no toppings even though we asked for lettuce and tomato. The cheesesteak was burnt and cold as well, with not much meat. Not to mention the fact that they forgot the fry even after 55 minutes. It also seemed that most if not all of the staff was doing nothing but standing around and chatting.

Yelp
Wow I don't think I've ever had such an unpleasant experience. I arrived with a table of three, we were seated by a host.. we sat waiting a whiiiiile, then a 6 top was seated right next to us... still waiting the waitress walked right past us to the 6 top who was just seated and took their order.... whe walked by us saying I'll he right back and then didn't come back for a very long time.. so long the 6 top ALREADY GOT THEIR FOOD before we ordered.. the table seated after us. Finally she comes over and tells us some story about a customer getting their retainer stuck in a napkin (like that really means anything- did all the waitress' need to attend to this) and we order but the food took foooorever.. we just watched this huge table eat and sat there irritated that she was so inattentive. The food fell FLAT we liked the sodas and KINDA liked the cheese steak fries- the burger was really boring and the parm sauced chicken tenders were way over sauced, so salty and wet. Will not go back or suggest to anyone.

Yelp
I went there yesterday for SOS (creamed chipped beef on toast for you non Veteran type folks). It tasted great. Excellent amount of meat with tasty gravy. The Hash Browns where also excellent. I only wish there had been more of it. It was fine for the price, but perhaps a "Big Boy" upgrade option is in order. Whatever... I will be coming back anyway because the Burgers are also great. Did I mention the Fries are hot and crispy.

Yelp
I got the Philly cheesesteak, it was dry over cooked beef with a sliver of cheese. Onion rings were flavorLESS. One of the cheese burgers came without cheese. The best thing about our meals were the milk shakes and soda. Poor representation of Philly food

Yelp
Done ordering from here. Let me explain why. I've ordered from this place about a dozen times. Food is inconsistent. Sometimes it's very good and sometimes it's been awful. Orders are sometimes not correct, indicating confusion or apathy on the part of the staff. We've received moldy buns before. Food often arrives cold, which I realize is one of the perils of having it delivered, but sometimes it's not cold so it's just another inconsistency. Last order, which was two weeks ago was my last. About 2-3 hours after finishing my burger I got very sick. Nausea, headache, followed by the runs. Oh my did I have the runs. For three whole days. With stabbing abdominal pain and blood. My doctor agreed with my suspicion that I had bacterial food poisoning. Never had gastroenteritis like this in my life. Can I be 100% sure it was the burger? No, I can't, as I didn't have my food cultured. But based on what I ate in the period before I got sick (safe stuff I made at home), my previous experiences with this place, and that I noticed when I was in the restaurant it seems to be entirely run by teenagers who seemed like they just might not have any idea about food safety and sanitation, I'm going to place my bet on it being the food I ate from here. Bye bye, Nifty Fiftys.

Yelp
I personally loved this place. Their service was quick although I wouldn't recommend going on a Saturday due to it being their busiest day. I always get the cheesesteak with cheese fries and one of their delicious milkshakes. The place reminds me of a nice fifty's setting which is why I loved it.

Yelp
This is, hands down, the best bacon cheeseburger I have ever had in my life. Make that the best cheeseburger I have ever had, period. Believe me, I do not say that lightly, as I am a fan of Fuddrucker's, Habit Burger Grill, Smashburger and several others. This burger was light and the patty wasn't overly thick, the bacon was perfectly crispy, they added mayo and a ton of pickles, it wasn't greasy, it hit the spot and didn't weigh me down at all and was completely freaking tasty and delicious. What more could you possibly ask for? Five Guys is across the street and they could learn a lot from the way Nifty Fifty's makes their burgers. The spicy fries were the absolute coup de grace - perfectly seasoned, nice and spicy, crisp, plentiful and pitch perfect with ketchup. My chocolate chip cookie dough milkshake was thick, creamy and delicious. Honestly, everything was perfect. I tried some of my husband's vanilla cola and it was yummy so, next time I go back (and I am definitely going back), I am getting the cherry bomb cola. Although we had to sit outside due to Covid-19 measures, I couldn't get enough of the ambiance - I loved the glowing neon signs, Christmas decorations and amazing oldies music. One of my favorite restaurants now and I cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
Nifty Fifty's never disappoints. Always fresh, hot, and delicious. The prices are good, and their milkshake list is impressive. Nom nom!
