I started to write this while waiting for the food, which has been taking forever.
I was excited to try this place after reading about it in a food blog, but it failed to meet up to the expectation.
The cocktails were nothing special. Fancy sounding and nothing more. I had the yasso lassi, which wasn't really a lassi. It had ouzo and some other stuff (Aryan yogurt, honey and vanilla), big balls of ice and a piece of lime peel, and it basically tasted like ouzo.
The food took a really long time to come and was good, but not great. Not really worth the price and the wait. The portions were small. We had the bread with tahini butter (which you had to pay extra for, this should probably just be served to every table in the beginning of their meal), the fennel salad, the octopus and the mussel dish. The fennel salad says that it comes with crunchy fennel, but it had basically half or one piece broken into pieces. We were hoping for more. The octopus was decent and the mussels weren't great.
The seating was uncomfortable, all high tables and bar stools. There was cold air blowing in our face throughout dinner, mind you it's November and it's freezing outside.
The servers were sweet, I'll give them that.
Otherwise, I will not be going back. One meal there was more than enough.
