Absolutely loved the taste menu at this restaurant! What a delightful surprise to have the waiter/waitress curate the dishes based on our preferences (they asked if we preferred vegetarian, meat, etc.). Each dish was a true 'kicker' - an explosion of flavors with all the components perfectly balanced in a single spoonful. We left feeling beyond satisfied, completely and utterly full! While the wine selection was decent ('ok' and sufficient), the incredible food definitely stole the show. Highly recommended for a unique and abundant dining experience! Make a reservation before a couple of days

So good! We love it! Also the welcome shots are great. The beef tartare was rich with herbs and spices but a bit mild on salt. I really liked the octopus and grilled onion in the surf and turf. All the staff members were nice and friendly. I will definitely come again!

The atmosphere was cozy and lively, and every dish that hit the table was thoughtfully crafted and packed with incredible flavor. The meal started with their own-made sesame bread — fresh from the oven, warm, and crusty with a nutty aroma that’s absolutely addictive. It set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. Here are my fave so far: Ceviche– A zesty, citrusy burst of freshness that woke up the palate. Fried Cauliflower– (perhaps my favorite!) Crispy and golden on the outside, soft on the inside, with a sauce that took it to the next level. Surf and Turf (Octopus & Sausage)– An unexpected pairing that worked perfectly. The octopus was tender and smoky, the sausage rich and flavorful. Amba Chicken– Tender chicken infused with the sweet-sour flavors of amba sauce—comforting and delicious. Lamb Chops with Beans– Juicy, tender lamb and creamy beans that brought a touch of rustic comfort. Sweet Potato & Parsley– Earthy, sweet, and brightened up with fresh herbs. Will definitely go back to try all other dishes! The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Every dish reflected a focus on quality ingredients and a genuine passion for creating memorable food. One of the best restaurants in Berlin!

The food is amazing, the service impeccable and the atmosphere so vibrant and at the same time comfortable. Always a great choice for a nicer dinner!

We have just finished our meal at Night Kitchen where we opted for the Dinner with Friends option with alcohol included. We had the most amazing time and it has been the best experience of our trip in Berlin so far. The staff are great, especially Salvadore (I hope I have got that correct), where by he was so attentive to us all night and couldn’t have been a better host. The value for money is amazing, compared to Ireland, we couldn’t believe it. And the quality is out of this world! We will be recommending it to anyone we know coming to Berlin.

By far the best place Ive eaten in Berlin. Everything was delicious and made perfect. Eating here was an experience and all the items we ordered were well made and it was amazing. The best item for me was the artichoke and bread pudding. Staff were kind and attentive. We did wait for a while to get our order but we didnt mind as we almost got everyone off the menu. Location is tricky as we needed to enter an entry way and the building was an assuming. But definitely worth it. Will go back!

Google
The food was simply mind blowing! A cute restaurant with great decor and vibes tucked away in a small courtyard, this place is a must visit if you are looking for amazing Mediterranean fusion fare. We had the burrata for appetizers and the shrimp for mains and everything was simply heavenly. We also got the chocolate fudge and bread pudding for dessert and they were simply heavenly decadent. The cocktails were quite average for the price. The service definitely needs improvement, the staff quite literally kicked us out in an hour because they wanted to give the table to someone else.

What a fun place to eat. The staff are so friendly. The food was delicious…espresso beef was so tender; the ribs just melted off the bones; also loved the shrimp, the bread+hummus, the artichoke and burrata were all great. Nice wine selection and price. Very cute location.

Yelp
We had a delicious dinner this week at Night Kitchen! We sat at the bar inside which, if you have long legs might mean you need to sit at an angle, but was otherwise comfortable. Note that there is no air conditioning inside. We showed up a little early for our 7:15 reservation and they were not yet busy. Because we were early, we had the option for the 2.5 hr "Dinner with Friends" even though we booked the 2 hr a la carte experience. We went with the friends dinner. OMG there was so much food! After sharing our dietary preferences, our server customized a dinner for us. Out first course considered of 4 diff small plates, 2nd course was 3 more small plates, and we couldn't go on for a third course, we were too full. But we tried 3 different desserts, the bread pudding was amazing! If you're hungry, dinner with friends is the way to go, as they will just keep bringing food until you cannot eat anymore! That's all for the one price of 60€ so quite the value. Our servers were all so delightful and friendly. By sitting at the bar we also got to talk to some friendly other travelers. I would definitely return!

Yelp
We sat at the courtyard table which added to the ambiance. The servers brought over shots is a passion fruit with vodka which some of the group found tasty. I was given an alcohol free version - appreciated that. Enjoyed the Challah bread, broccolini, crispy cauliflower sambal and the beetroot salad. They do have non vegetarian options which two of our friends loved. Strongly recommended.

Yelp
Super fun, hidden restaurant. Fantastic service. Delicious menu. Bread and Hummus - 5/5 Salmon Dish - 4/5 Lamb Dish - 4/5 Apple Dessert - 5/5 The bread and hummus is very good, as well as the dessert. Both the salmon and lamb dishes were good. The service is great. The atmosphere is a lot of fun. Definitely a hidden spot.

Yelp
Came on a weekend night during the Berlin Marathon weekend with a reservation. Service was friendly and timely. They had indoor and outdoor covered seating. The menu is extensive and provides dishes for sharing. Menu is also fairly priced. 1. Zucchini burrata - update to a previous item. Now with a whole burrata which complements the sauce, tomatoes and zucchini. Very good! 2. TLV shrimps - came with a topping of cheese, just the way I like it! Underneath, 5-6 shrimps cooked well and the sauces it comes with were amazing. From the pesto, to tomato, to chili oil. 3. Beirut nights - Not too sweet. The sweetness comes from the rose water syrup outside. It provides good sturdy texture for the dessert itself. Overall, very good place to come and would gladly come back again if I lived in Berlin!

Yelp
Came here at the recommendation of a friend and I'm glad she told me about this place because I never would have found it otherwise. I had managed to get a reservation for 2 at the bar a few days in advance. It seems they stayed booked here and I see why. The bartender was such a gracious host and brought us three rounds of welcome shots. Instead of doing the Dinner with Friends option, my coworker and I just ordered a la carte which came out much cheaper. We ordered the challah bread, Caesar salad, crispy cauliflower, and 'spresso beef. Every dish was a showstopper. The beef was falling apart it was so tender and the flavor of the cauliflower was amazing. The salad was crisp and delicious. The tahini dip with the warm challah bread was perfection. We were too full for dessert but that menu also looked fantastic. My only complaint is that it's tight for space in the restaurant. We were elbow to elbow at the bar which makes it a bit hard to eat comfortably, but the food was so so good you just make it work.

Yelp
Amazingly good food just minutes from all the museums around Berlin Cathedral. Highly recommend the steak tartare, the artichoke entree, and the chicken dishes. Save room for dessert. There are three on offer, and they don't disappoint. Great space with a central bar and dining tables around the perimeter. Also a beer garden. Don't miss this place, but make reservations to ensure you get in.

Yelp
Strongly recommend! The food, the cocktails and the service were all first rate. I didn't have a reservation and took a seat at the bar. I thoroughly enjoyed a spicy little welcoming shot that was on the house and that set the stage for everything else. I had the beef tartare and then the calamari surf and turf. Both were delicious Mediterranean slants on classics. Everything was expertly prepared and the service was very well paced, giving me time to enjoy my meal without feeling rushed.

Yelp
Wow. Get the menu where they pick for you. 2.5 hours. Everything was amazing. The "perfect French fries" are exactly that. Fantastic vegetarian dishes. Loved the cauliflower especially. Only objection is too much food! Highly recommend!

Lynn J.

Yelp
Had an amazing time here. Great food, drinks are delicious and the staff is wonderful. Loud and lively crowd. Loved it!

Yelp
Wonderful ambiance, great service and inspiring food. I like to cook and am often annoyed when I pay for food that I could easily and better make myself. Not so at Night kitchen, the food is creative and very tasty.

Yelp
We rolled into town late on Sunday night and weren't sure what was open. Night kitchen was still hoppin but they took care of us at the bar. We did the dinner with friends option (veggie style) and it was one of the more memorable meals I've had. Loved it so much we made a point to return. Truly truly delicious. It was SO much food though so def come hungry. Mmm. Still dreaming about this one & hope some day to return.

Yelp
A friend recommended Night Kitchen and it didn't disappoint. We sat at the bar and ordered a la carte. The server was very helpful guiding us toward a combo that made the most sense. We ordered the bread, beet salad, mushrooms with polenta and the beef, potatoes, ... My only complaint was we couldn't finish it because it was way too much! We'll definitely recommend Night Kitchen to friends Berlin bound.

Yelp
Night Kitchen offers an unforgettable dining experience in Berlin! We opted for the sharing concept menu where the kitchen selects dishes for you (dietary constraints are taken into account). The dishes were so delicious and diverse, and they did a great job of spacing out the meal so we could manage our fullness. We delightfully closed the night with shots with our waitress and bartender. :) A must visit when in Berlin!

Yelp
Why only 3 stars? 1) The menu is completely overpriced given their location. With overpriced I am taking about the price you pay for the portion and the food itself. 4 pieces of cauliflower for 14€ are too much. 21€ for three small shrimps is also close to rip off 2) the service was ok but too annoying. Every 5 minutes they come to clean up the plate while you still have food in your mouth. Like as if they want you to leave ASAP 3) taste wise you'll be very lonely if you are a meat eater. If you enjoy vegetarian and vegan food the food is ok to good but not outstanding. The taste gets lost and not enjoyable if I look at the portion sizes and price. Nothing was really outstanding Wat was good: 1) Cauliflower was great but lacked in portion 2) the smoked carrots are tasty 3) the chefs roasted veggies are interesting What to skip: 1) 5€ for the bread 2) tomato capaccio are just sliced tomatoes on a plate for 9€ 3) 14€ for zucchini Burrata - I think the Burrata might be max. 30g in weight, smaller than a pouched egg. Not worth the price and taste. 4) grilled shrimps - 21€ for three small grilled shrimps. Nope Overall the food is ok. It lacked in flavor. It lacked in portion but was great in being pricey :D I wouldn't come again nor would I recommend this place. The taste is good and interesting enough for me to give maximum 3 stars which is more of a 2.5 stars

Yelp
Unforgettable dinner make sure to get the sweet potato, everything was delicious. Will definitely be back if we are ever in Berlin.

Yelp
A totally unexpected find. We browsed several nearby places, thought this was a safer bet even though the menu didn't call out to us. Once inside, we found this place to be quite popular, both floors are almost full happy patrons - a good indication. What the menu wasn't able to communicate is the flavor, execution of each item. We ordered the octopus, tomato carpaccio, porchetta, short rib and fish. Wished there were a few more of us or we take the chef's table choice.

Yelp
One of the best food experiences in Berlin. Great sharing concept named Dinner with Friends which gives the opportunity to try a variety from their delicious menu!! Also have the the option to drink wine and beer unlimited. The ambiance is fantastic! Great music, nice service crew who drinks shots with you!! And a very nice atmosphere of a restaurant bar type of place. Couldn't recommend more for a unique night out with friends/ family/ and a date!!

Yelp
Absolutely amazing experience. Food was some of the best I've ever had, staff was really friendly, and the restaurant was beautiful. You're in for a treat!

Yelp
Absolutely hands down one of my favorite dining experiences in recent years. You've got great ambience and music, a diverse and super tasty menu, and really great/friendly service staff all in one really cute building. Their fries are an absolute must and their non alcoholic cocktail with elderberry (blanking on the name) was incredible. Pricing too was definitely a plus. Overall very very pleased with my experience and would def recommend. 10/10

Yelp
Cool place with a great atmosphere. The staff here are very friendly and helpful but the highlight has to be the food. One of the best meals I have had in Berlin. Everything was delicious and the Israeli wine was good too. Highly recommend but make a reservation it is very popular and always busy

Yelp
What meal? Showed up on time for our reservation and were seated at a bar top for 5 after specifically requesting a table. After complaining and asking them to move is to the empty table for 5 that we watched for 45 minutes we finally just left after a drink. Bar smelled like bleach it would have been a horrible meal experience. Very disappointing. Won't be back and will be sure to tell everyone we know not to go.

Yelp
I started to write this while waiting for the food, which has been taking forever. I was excited to try this place after reading about it in a food blog, but it failed to meet up to the expectation. The cocktails were nothing special. Fancy sounding and nothing more. I had the yasso lassi, which wasn't really a lassi. It had ouzo and some other stuff (Aryan yogurt, honey and vanilla), big balls of ice and a piece of lime peel, and it basically tasted like ouzo. The food took a really long time to come and was good, but not great. Not really worth the price and the wait. The portions were small. We had the bread with tahini butter (which you had to pay extra for, this should probably just be served to every table in the beginning of their meal), the fennel salad, the octopus and the mussel dish. The fennel salad says that it comes with crunchy fennel, but it had basically half or one piece broken into pieces. We were hoping for more. The octopus was decent and the mussels weren't great. The seating was uncomfortable, all high tables and bar stools. There was cold air blowing in our face throughout dinner, mind you it's November and it's freezing outside. The servers were sweet, I'll give them that. Otherwise, I will not be going back. One meal there was more than enough.

Yelp
What a great find! We were enjoying the sights our local area Mitte (old Berlin) and came upon Night Kitchen in Hermann Hoff (passage way). We noticed the menu showed "soft opening" indicating as they were a new restaurant. As we were reviewing the menu we noticed the chefs prepping for the evening. After a brief conversation with one of the owners, Omri McNabb, we decided to make a reservation for dinner our last night in Berlin. When we arrived, the restaurant was filling up both in the bar and inside eating area, as well as the charming outside patio. We decided on the outside patio. We chose the "Family Style" special tasting menu comprised of the chef's choice on appetizers, entrees and desserts. We began our dinner with generous first course portions including a beet salad with feta, tomato carpaccio, and tabbouleh with baby shrimp. Don't forget to include the chef's homemake challah with your dinner. Our entrees included lamb and pork porchetta, mussels and clams in pastis sauce, octopus a' la plancha. The server, a lovely woman from Brazil, couldn't have been more gracious and professional. My wife who is not a dessert eater, was encouraged by the server to order another appetizer instead of dessert. She ended her dinner with cubes of salmon with cream fraische. I had the tiramisu as a final course. The entire dinner were magnificent! When in Berlin, we encourage you to enjoy Night Kitchen, After dinner Omri behind the bar area by this time, offered us after dinner drinks and introductions to the other owners of the restaurant. Omri and his partner have numerous years of the experience working as chefs in high profile restaurants around the world. The owners also have a successful restaurant in Tel Aviv also known as Night Kitchen.

Yelp
Sat in the greenhouse in the back, which can get quite loud as voices are contained and echo off of the glass. The waiter was personable and agreeable, but wasn't great at following through. We thought we would have a starter and entrees but everything came at once. The roasted cauliflower sounded more interesting on the menu than it turned out in execution. One entrée was the octopus with black beans (that's a weird combination), and it was boring and indistinct. Surprisingly, the Balkan chicken was good. The chicken was succulent and far more interesting than the octopus. Felt like an American restaurant.

Yelp
Service. Was. Slow. Not a major detriment, but you might find yourself glancing around with that "Where....?" expression. Seems the servers aren't assigned to specific tables; there's a lot of confusion-- "Did you already order drinks with my colleague?" Food is ace. We ordered a mélange of tapa-style dishes, including a savory artichoke salad. Minimal beer selection but plenty of wine. Regarding atmosphere: urban vintage, medium-lit, with a playlist of tasteful pop. I reserved indoor seating, but took interest in the leafy patio upon arrival. Was turned down despite watching others get a pass.... hmm. Perhaps there's an option to wait for a table. If so, was not suggested to us.

Yelp
Our favorite place for dinner as well as for brunch. Can be a little bit noisy but that just underlines the great idea of "eating with friends". The food is amazing, all the waiters are great and interesting individuals, drinks are awesome and the location is soooo beautiful! And: although the area is central, this location is not crowded with tourists!

Yelp
Essen war gut und super ausreichend (Menü), einzeln evt. zu wenig. Cocktail war echt lieblos angerichtet, geschmack auch nicht so toll.

Yelp
Was amazed by the variety and quality of food, and the service! Really great place, with non-classical food choice. Would love to come back!
