"The Magic of Nightcliff From curries to crepes and sushi to samosas, not to mention strong coffee, fruit smoothies and a variety of local vegetables in between, the Nightcliff Market performs its production every Sunday morning from 6am to 2pm. It has one of the best food spreads, reflecting the diversity of Darwin's dining scene, as well as local crafts, clothing, plants, massages, tarot readings and antique collectables. In the dry season, live music adds yet another lovely layer."

Nightcliff Market is a great weekend spot to relax and enjoy time with family. There’s a nice mix of Aussie and Asian food, live music on some days, and a kids’ play area. Plenty of seating and a friendly vibe. You’ll find stalls selling handmade items, clothes, books, souvenirs, and some organic products. There are a few veggie stalls too, but not many. Easy to find parking and the bus stop is nearby. Worth a visit!

I visited the Nightcliff Markets while I was in Darwin and really enjoyed the vibe. They're on every Sunday from 8 am to 2 pm and run all year round. It’s a nice little market with a good mix of food stalls, arts and crafts, local produce, second-hand goods, and live music. It’s a more laid-back market compared to some of the busier ones around Darwin, but still has a great atmosphere. I had the most amazing fresh paw paw salad made right in front of me, and the mango juice with orange, ginger and honey was next level—so refreshing! Easily one of the best juices I’ve had:) Something to note—dogs aren’t allowed at the markets, which is the same across most of the markets in Darwin. It’s a bit of a shame if you're travelling with your dog, but worth knowing before you go. Parking can be a bit tight, but there’s usually some available around the shopping centre or nearby streets. If you’re in Darwin on a Sunday, it’s a great little spot to grab breakfast or lunch and enjoy some live music in a relaxed setting.

Night cliff markets, open 8am-2pm Sat's & Sun's. We took the No.4 bus from Darwin CBD, 20min ride. We came in mid July & the weather was perfect- @ 30 degrees celcius & a nice breeze. A great market atmosphere, live music, huge array of centrally placed food vendors- lots of different food and drinks to try; laksa, tropical fruits juices, and LOTS more. Suitable for all ages groups. Market is mostly in shade. Toilet facilities and seating available all around market. Lovely stall of clothing, jewelery, books, homewares, touristy purchases. We then walked 20min flat ground walk over to nearby Rapid Creek Markets on roughly the same time (Sat/Sun mornings) which is more fresh produce based. Night cliff is a more general market and will have something to please everyone in the family. We would come to this market again 👍

Was a lovely experience. Jade with her healing herbs was of particular delight, a wonderful and insightful conversationalist and very pure soul who made my day and her wares were really great. I would also highly recommend trying the kangaroo tail nachos the lady working the stand there was also a very lovely person and the food was delicious, would highly recommend spending your Sunday morning here after Church.

Awesome markets to grab your yummy food, fresh fruit and vegetables and a piece of Aboriginal art for your family or friends. Relax with live music and enjoy your sunday mornings.

The "Nightcliff Markets" have been very popular since opening in the mid 90's, a great range of food, coffee and drinks and some very good mostly local musical entertainers. Also a wide choice of local crafts and home grown food, spices and veggies. A really nice way to start a Sunday morning, plenty of seating available under the shade of the trees and canopies. Usually parking is available nearby.

We came early hoping to avoid the crowds! Fortunately the sun was hiding behind the clouds which made it so much cooler and pleasant to walk around. The have a good range of food stalls centrally located and surrounded by other interesting product and fresh produce stalls.

Yelp
Come early have breakfast and then dessert, there is a wide selection of sweets. There is a man who sells vintage clothing and accessories, I got an adorable wallet made in Germany which was from the 1950's VINTAGE!!! The produce here is affordable and similar to Parap but there are less produce vendors. Overall this is a great market with the typical stuff, it is smaller then Parap but I enjoy the area and they have pleasing music.
