Nihonbashi Dashi Bar Hanare

Delicious and very well-balanced flavors. We have been pleasantly surprised by the very affordable price in such a beautiful place. The service was high-quality and very friendly.

The quality of the food here is really good, it’s a lovely place in Nihonbashi to get healthy Japanese food, and the restaurant is quite spacious and does not feel cramped. We got to sit by the window and it was lovely. We ordered the set with vegetables, which was delicious and filling. Loved the small dishes and the bonito flakes was a nice touch. The only disappointment was the attitude of the staff, 2 of them who were quite rude which we were surprised about. They’re probably busy and under pressure, but it was not a pleasant experience.

Happen to pass by while looking at the Sakura trees along road. Saw a short queue and decided to join and try the set meals. Dashi Takikomi Gohan light fragrance with umami on its own and tasted as good after adding in dashi stock. Pork belly with daikon in light sweet soy based sauce also tasted delicious and simmered tender. Great service and ambience despite full house especially the seats with view on the Sakura trees outside. Despite some lower than average rating which almost stopped me from trying this my actual experience is great and the lunch crowd speaks of its quality/value.

A very relaxed place where you can have nice Japanese dishes chazuke or warabi-mochi in a stress free atmosphere. Particularly good if you want to have an afternoon stop outside the "regular meal" hours.

Very professional staff. Good product, specially fresh Katsubushi, and all other sauces. Company is very old and stablished very well.

The meals here have gentle taste and delicious. I got the soup set at this time - good for the rain outside.

Comfort food for your stomach.

The food might be good, sure, but the prices are way too high for what you get, and the staff are so unmotivated that it just makes me lose interest in the place altogether.
