"Looking to bask in the work of Nigerian and international artists while in Lagos for Lagos Fashion Week? Then look no further than Nike Art Gallery. Located in a five-story tall building in Lekki, a suburban area on Lagos Island, it features thousands of artworks, making it one of the largest gallery collections in West Africa. It is a favorite in Lagos for art lovers and those seeking a place to meet fellow enthusiasts."

Back for my second dose of magic at the Nike Art Gallery, and honestly, the creative energy here is even more vibrant than I remember. Every corner is a feast for the eyes, a place where inspiration truly blossoms. If you're looking to ignite your imagination and immerse yourself in a world of artistry, this is an absolute must-visit. ✨🎨

This unassuming place needs to get talked about much more. My first time visiting a place with so much art that you begin to feel kinship with the pieces. If you are looking for somewhere to find inspiration, and connect with creativity, plan to go here, you won't regret it.

Nike art gallery The art gallery is a big one with up to 3 floors. There are a lot of varieties of art works. They have over 25000 artworks. A tour guide is available to give you a tour. You can have a painting session at the end of your visit (Not for free, though). It was really lovely there. Going with a tour guide made it a lot more interesting. But I hate the fact the some of the paintings in the last floor are duty making them look abandoned. Also I believe it is better for them to organize the art works in sections so that it would be easy to find them

A perfect place to visit if you’re looking for a place with rich African cultural heritage. It is recommended for the younger and older generations who know little about the African heritage. A perfect place for foreigners, locals, adventurists and researchers. The amazing thing is that there is no entrance fee for the regular admissions. Don’t forget to request a selfie with the iconic woman who is the owner of this great place 😊

Artists from Nigeria only can display their artwork. Many are super creative and rare techniques. There are also sculptures. No entrance fee and you can buy a piece of art if interested. Worth to check out. .

It was an incredible experience. Mummy Nike and staff are all so welcoming. The gallery is beautiful, filled with 1000’s of pieces including paintings and sculptures. There’s traditional drumming, music and dance to welcome you as you enter in the yard. Grab some artwork or shop in the gift shop. The items are authentic and you may even find one of the many local artist hanging out there. While you’re there, don’t forget to get your African name and participate in the renaming ceremony. After you’ve toured the gallery, spend some time to just chill out and take it all in. Mummy Nike is always open conversation. She is full of wisdom and knowledge about ancestral heritage. Whether you are an art enthusiast or you just want somewhere relaxing to spend part of your day, the Nike Art Gallery is definitely the spot.

Such a great place for the appreciation of art. Wonderful tour guide and an overall good place. Only downside is the toilet, not so good especially for the females(as at when I visited). Better go with an empty bladder.
