Nikis Pension

Thank you Michalis and Georgia for a wonderful holiday. This pension is perfectly positioned in the Old Town - excellent access to the bars and restaurants without being affected by noise. The views from the balcony that we had were second to none. We made use of the full size fridge (which cam at no extra cost) to store our yoghurt and fruit. We ate breakfast on the balcony admiring a spectacular view of the castle vista. The breakfasts that were being served on the terrace looked amazing and very good value for money I might add.||The room was exceptionally clean with a real eye to attention courtesy of Laura. Laura was a joy to meet and I felt very pampered. The sheets were cool cotton and there were also ceiling fans and air conditioning. One of the big bonuses for me was the hairdryer provided - a full size one with different settings !||Nothing is too much trouble for this team - they went out of their way to make our stay perfect and they succeeded. As vegetarians we had restaurants recommended to us and they were all lovely. I cannot emphasise how perfect the location of this pension is - it is not only within walking distance of the all the tourist attractions of the Old and New town but also a 5 minute walk to the harbour beach which is perfect for a cooling dip !||We feel that we have stayed with friends and we will be booking next Summer. Thank you again for making my summer holiday perfect - I recommend Niki's without reservation.

Hotel is located very close to old town. And there are many restaurants, markets nearby. Owners are very helpful. They let us leave our luggages after our check out and let us use toilets etc till we leave the island. Only issue with the room was air conditioner, it was not performing perfect but it was okay. Overall the service here was good.

Niki's Hotel is run by a lovely couple, Michalis and Georgia, who will make you very welcome and guarantee you a pleasant stay. Michalis was born and bred in the Old Town and knows everything there is to know about it! It is very interesting to talk to him.||The hotel, or pension, is in an ideal location, quiet but within a five minute walk to the heart of the Old Town, and with several fine restaurants even closer. My room had a great view of the Old Town, with some lovely sunsets.||I shall certainly try to book here again if I return to Rhodes.

Set in the middle of the old town this is a really great place to visit Rhodes. You can walk every where in the old town from her and the beach is only a 20 minute walk away. You also have some great restaurant within a 5 minute walk.||The pension is simple. I had problems sticking to the shower curtain it was that small but it was not a problem. The room was a good size with a fridge and the air conditioning worked very well. Our hosts were lovely and we had a couple of good early evening bottles of wine on the patio.||I would not recommend for those with mobility problems as the steps are steep but, for us, it was an ideal location for a weeks stay.

This was our second stay with Michalis and Georgia. It is like staying with family. They are the most tremendous hosts and we were delighted to meet their lovely son too Manolis.||We stayed for two weeks in a balcony room and again the room was spotless. All the rooms are spotless and well equipped and are simply the perfect base from which to explore Rhodes. You will not get a better location in the Old Town or better hosts.||The breakfast is lovely and very good value for money.||A huge thank you for another perfect holiday to Michalis, Georgia, Manolis and Laura||||We will see you again next year||Love from Nicky and Jim x

Discovered online this wonderful balcony room with air-conditioning and fridge (for the cold water bought locally at the supermarket). It overlooks the castle and minarets of the wonderful old town.|Michalis and Georgia are exceptional hosts who we found extremely helpful with any difficulties. NB. book your taxi through HolidaysTaxis.eu as suggested by Michalis (note the plural) who will bring you to the door. We made the mistake of finding a similar sounding taxi name .com who have overcharged (negotiating).|The pension is located five minutes from the restaurants including a tasty and popular vegetarian one (Martinotti Mara - separate review)|Exploring the old town as recommended by Michaelis was also a delight.

Great location right in the centre of the Old Town. A little difficult to find when first arriving but the friendly locals showed us the way. Georgia was lovely and friendly and we had a very tasty and good value breakfast (5 euro) every morning. View from room was fab and had a couple of drinks relaxing on the balcony. If you can't get a balcony there's a nice roof terrace too. Shower was a bit on small side but perfectly adequate for a few days. Didn't get air con either though it did say we would have this when we booked, fan was fine though.

We stayed here for three night. Michelin and Georgia are friendly and helpful host.. The rooms are clean and all are air conditioned. Breakfast was a boiled egg, orange juice, jams, butter and bread. The bread can be better as we got that soft hot dog type. Everything was perfect.
