I LOVE Niko's Cafe! Huge portions, taste like my mom cooked, and extremely cheap. You can have meal with 4 different food - carbs (potato/rice/pasta/lentes + salad + plátano + main meat (fish/chicken/beef...) All for 5-8$! Tasty and cheap! And real local food! Not fast food, like home cooked!

I only eat the chicken/turkey club sandwich on pita bread here.... wait times sux. Updated to 4stars because they are pretty empty late at night when others have more traffic AND they actually have chicken when others like Dorado and Calle 50 almost never have.

Local lunch spot. Buffet, with the tray. It was under $10 per plate.

Great Panamanian style food for a great price! My mom is vegetarian so it has been hard finding food without any kind of meat. This place had some good options for cheap. You can choose what you like and pay at the end. We had two full plates of food and a drink for $8. It's not a luxurious place but it's decent.

The first time we landed here,it was after a night of dancing, fun, and a few drinks. It was the perfect spot to polish off the night/morning.If you don't fancy Caribbean or Panamanian dishes Niko's may not suit you. If you are not comfortable around working class types and ordinary Panamanians then skip this spot. The food is good and the menu changes. It is a cafeteria style place,no bells and whistles. The ladies serving you could be a bit fussy sometimes but I mostly had good exchanges with them. It's often busy at Lunch time and for the single guys, you may just get lucky and have some pretty ladies on their lunch break ask to share your table or you could ask so sit at theirs. It's that type of atmosphere.

Avoid at all cost. 20+ minutes waiting for a sandwich and was never served. Then ordered rice, ham and vegetables with a drink and was awful. Vegetables were rotten, ham was hard and old. Was charged $8.5 for this. Are you kidding me??

Cafeteria style restaurant. Prices used to be good but they have become more expensive out of necessity is my guess. Food is always decent. They used to be open 24 hours at this location, not sure if that's still true. Maybe.
