It was such a nice experience and the food is amazing. I especially recommend the lamp chomps and pasta with salmon and spinach-those pastas were 12/10🫨 Service is a combination of Humor and kindness. You not only want to stay longer but also chat with the personal. I can only recommend visiting this restaurant a few times while staying in Mykonos.

If you’re looking for a homely restaurant with a great range of authentic food items, this is the place for you! Thank you to the servers who went above and beyond, and to those in the kitchen who delivered one of the best dishes I’ve ever had! I highly recommend the broccoli with garlic as a side dish as it was phenomenal. My partner recommends the special of beef orzo stew! 👍🏼

We went there without reservation. The owner welcomed us without hesitation. Near to entrance was loud so it was nice to stay inside. Service was excellent and food was served really quickly. Food was great! For traveler with a toddler, they have a child seat.

Beautiful family-run taverna with authentic Greek atmosphere. Fresh seafood, generous portions, and warm service. Loved the salt-crusted fish – highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of dining at Nikos Gallop twice during our stay in Mykonos, and both experiences were outstanding. The grouper and the sea bass baked in salt crust were prepared to perfection – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. On our second visit, we tried the shrimp moussaka, which was a truly unique and memorable twist on a Greek classic, and the red snapper linguine, which was full of depth and taste. Beyond the food, what made our evenings so special was the warm, cheerful, and friendly staff who welcomed us like old friends. Nikos Gallop is a gem of Mykonos – authentic, joyful, and unforgettable.

We visited Mykonos for 4 days and ate lunch or dinner at Nikos Gallop each day. We loved the people, atmosphere, and food so much!! What a great establishment. Nikos was recommended by our hotel. What a wonderful experience. The restaurant was very close to our hotel, excellent food, and the staff was great. It is a great place to dine if you are in Mykonos. We got gritted by the owner Nikos, who open the restaurant 42 years ago. Thank you!!!

Very lovely place for dinner. The food was delicious. The service and ambiance was on point. Prices are reasonable. Skip the Old port and just look for one of those little gems. We will be back!
