It’s a shame that the dinner doesn’t meet our expectations. The place feels like all the recipes are written and followed carefully and strictly, there’s no space for arts and creativity from chefs who prepare them at all. And all the dishes are good but not wow in my mouth — and sadly not well paired. It is over for our digestion, over high quality food being eaten at the same time and creating a greasy backlash in the end. Where is the attentiveness in the art of making foods? There seems none. We didn’t come for the gold or for the Wagyu or for the show. We come for good food, well combined, attentiveness from chefs and arts in gastronomy. Sadly, Niku Fella isn’t quite a place for these. It is way lower our expectation of the place.
I like the girl who presented us all the dishes, but shouldn’t it be the chefs who make these dishes are better for their presentation? There is no links at all as she is not the cook (she cannot tell right away that guests are not happy after their first bites) and she seems very nervous and lack confidence as an actress if you call this a show. She is just someone who learnt the lines and repeated in front of you with no experiences to handle stuffs if things go wrong, when guests are upset. There should be one, who cares about the guests while they are eating and fixes things on time if things go wrong, in a place like this to make it a successful business. Because we were the only 2 guests, if we cannot be happy about our meals then how can you care about others when the house is full?
Anyway, we learn by experiences and sadly this place will not in our recommendation list for any of our friends.
