We thoroughly enjoyed two weeks at this lovely hotel. The situation is a dream: on the west bank of the Nile, a short stroll from the ferry landing, right opposite Luxor temple and near some of the world's most impressive archeological sites. We never tired of the stunning views from the rooftop restaurant, where the food was so good that we ended up eating there every day. The friendly owners (a Dutch/Egyptian couple) speak several languages, and helped us with advice, ordering taxis etc. After a morning's hot and dusty sightseeing the clean hotel pool was a delight. Staff were invariably friendly and made us feel quite at home. Saskia & Hans

Lovey hotel with spectacular views of the Nile. It's on the quiet side of the river but right next to the ferry and a public boat dock. A speedboat costs $1. However, there are countless restaurants and things to do without having to cross the Nile. Rooms were super comfortable and well kept. The heated pool is lovely during the winter and the food at the restaurant is delicious.

Lovely hotel in perfect location for Luxor on the West Bank. Right by the Nile and boat point for crossing. Great rooftop bar for drinks while just taking in the magnificent sight of the banks of the Nile. Spacious room, kept very clean. Lovely swimming pool for the end of day dip, perfect for cooling off after all the sight seeing. Pleasant breakfast with omelette, yoghurt & fruit, bread, cake to set you up for the day. Competitively priced. Would definitely recommend.

Smart rooftop terrace with view of the Nile and pleasant pool area and restaurant for breakfast. Room was adequate with small balcony overlooking pool. Manager was very chatty and helpful. This is definitely recommended for the price.

This place is featured in Lonely Planet, but something must have changed since then because I can’t imagine it deserving that recognition today. The excursions and services were clearly overpriced (they asked for 1.200 EGP for something that market price is 400 EGP) After a four-night stay, on the last day, they didn’t allow us to wait by the pool for our airport transport, as we had done on previous days in the hot weather. Instead, they told us that, since we were no longer guests, we would have to pay for that privilege. The rooms were not cleaned as promised, leaving sand and dust to accumulate throughout our stay. The restaurant is also overpriced compared to other options in the area, and the food is unremarkable. The rooms don’t provide shampoo or liquid soap for showering. I found a blood stain on my pillow, and the room was ugly and noisy, facing the street where all the buses passed. Overall, it was a mediocre stay. Nothing stood out as particularly good or terrible, but I’m surprised this place is still featured in the guide.

This was a lovely palce to have a meal and a drink by the nile. sadly the fish really upset my friend's stomach, so I can't give it full marks. The rest of the food was great and the service was very nice.

I only went to restaurant. It is on a roof terrace. Super nice views. But the food taste very bad, at tourist prices. Hope not to be sick. I should have read comments before going.
