This vast store has pretty much every type of Guatemalan handicraft one could be searching for. The museum-like display of regional apparel (trajes and huipiles) and textiles are amazing. If you only go to one store because you don't have much time or you don't like shopping, this is the one to check out. There is no haggling -- the prices are set.

This place had a ton of different crafts so you could really find pretty much any souvenir you want. The one downside I will say is that things were fairly pricey even by US standards, especially for any type of fabric or apparel. If you’re looking for a value deal I would probably look elsewhere.

The place is pretty uninviting with all the prohibition signs and the security guard following you everywhere. The market has quality items though. Light should be improved.

They definitely sell items for a higher price but you’re not hassled at all when shopping vs the smaller, more local stores where there is a lot of pressure to buy something. For me, that makes the shopping experience more pleasant than feeling like you have to buy something.

Literally the only shop I visited in Antigua that I was able to browse in peace without being constantly hassled. It was worth it to me to pay more for clear pricing and no pressure shopping.

That's an interesting gift store. It's huge. There are lots of interesting things that you ma consider as gifts for your friends. I didn't buy anything today but I had a lot of fun looking at many cute ideas.

This place seems a bit expensive but does have unusual items for sale. They also have fabric by the yard, and the fabric price is competitive to what I saw elsewhere in Antigua (but more expensive than the Mercado Centrale in Guatemala City). There is a public restroom for pay and it is relatively clean.
