Nimmanoradee Resort

very quiet and natural bay at the southern end of the island. The bungalows are clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is rich and varied. Unfortunately the restaurant closes at 8 o'clock in the evening. There is no other restaurant. The service staff was partly disorganized but friendly. There is a public pickup bus to the other beaches every hour during the day (until 5 p.m.). Wonderful sunrises and sunsets on the southern tip of the island, a few minutes walk away.

I spent 5 peaceful nights at this quiet hotel. There is a private beach here with well dispersed bungalows throughout the property. The grounds are meticulously maintained. There are hammocks near the water and most of the beach is well shaded. The food at the restaurant is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would recommend this hotel and stay again.

Relaxing remote paradise. If you set your expectations on the title above, you will love your stay here. I read some people's reviews criticising the remoteness, but that is one of the best features. Yes, a scooter is a must, but that is the best way to see the island no matter where you stay. The food was excellent, and affordable compared to other places on Koh Samet, again please don't listen to the negativity of others. Someone complained that most of the dishes are Thai... GREAT! I want to eat Thai food in Thailand! So should you! The rooms were large and the setting beautiful. I find myself sitting staring off into the distance, listening to the waves crashing on the shore, any thoughts or stresses I carried with me gently disappear to be replaced by a fulfilling sense of tranquility. It dawned on me that the world is a beautiful place, but it takes a special kind of person to unwind enough to fully appreciate it. I hope that this can be you. This resort will help you find the inner peace that everyone desires.

There a lot of nice things to say. The beach is very clean very private water are clear like it drinkable and have the zone that can scuba in the resort. The secret is If you request for the dinning set you get a lot of seafood , tom yum, papaya salad ,BBQ and other depends on what you request. The services are improving a lot. Definitely comeback again. You don't wanna miss this place!! Update 2024 Recently back to this place. And things just not right this time. 1. My room are smell wet like wet carpet There are leftovers bottle of water in the fridge. My friend didn't got the water in the fridge. 2. The food take a long longgggg time to cook Maybe there less staff this time. But 1.5 hr for fire chicken still long. And the taste seem match the price 3. The staff seem to confuse and everyone seem busy. They pick up the dish that previous guest just ate but pick just the glass and 2 dish then go to do something else when the table still have a lot of remaining plate. But lastly the View and Nature of this resort still the best. If you don't mine the list above give it a try

A delightful resort at the very southern tip of the island, away from the large crowds and bars and discos of the main areas. If peace and beauty is your thing this could be for you. Very cute spacious cottages. Excellent food choices for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is quite good but maybe more limited and Asian than some western folk might want - but we loved it. The staff are delightful. ||WiFi only in public area near bar and restaurant, but that is fine.||As the place is far from anywhere you either need to be happy to just stay there or arrange taxis or motorbike hire to go to the main town. There are trips available from the resort such as snorkelling and sunset cruise etc. ||The resort has gorgeous hammocks and swings under shady trees by the edge of the sea. Perfect for reading and snoozing. The sea itself is rocky, so you do need beach shoes for going in. The water is clear and warm and fairly shallow, but you do have to walk over rocks / stones as you go in. So be prepared. ||We will go back. Loved it.

It has been 10 years since I last visited Koh Samed. Thankfully I selected to stay at Nimmannoradee. The resort is at the southernmost tip of the island and provides a more spacious, secluded, peaceful feel. The area is also a lot more clean and without the crowds. You'll need to rent a moto to get to the rest of the island. Staff is super helpful and books the moto and boat ride back for you at a reasonable rate. Complimentary breakfast is great. Ambiance unbeatable (a calm but happy mood). No parties, no loud noise. Charming individual cottages that are surprisingly modern. Mostly couples stay here. Rates are competitive, mostly due to the more remote location (imo). The scenic view (sunset) is close to the resort by moto.

They had shown that the resort has sandy beaches but they didn’t have any sandy beach….. The coastline of the resort was rocky.||Secondly there’s no wifi anywhere!!!! Not even in the rooms…. Nor at the lobby!!!! Really pathetic||Every food we asked for took an hour long to get it served…..During breakfast if one of the items finished off they were very reluctant to refill. And they made faces!!!! And they did not refill the dishes !!! It’s so weird||Only 1 person of all the staff knew English, it was so difficult to communicate |There was no intercom so that I could talk to the reception… |There was no tea or coffee in the room.||The hotel is at the end of the island…. There is no conveyance from the wyongdun beach… There is no tuk tuk available||The staff was not cordial at all!!!!!

It is a very quiet and great resort for relaxing travel. The nature and the beach are stunning and beautiful. The water was good and warm, very refreshing and also with sand and stones. Recommend to those who are looking for relaxing and quite holiday.
