Personally, not my thing. There wasn't much space to sort out your luggage and the scramble for mirror space and showers in the morning is very real. The bed was excellent and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful. It was just the having to continually get stuff from my locker that I needed for a shower, or for makeup. Wasn't for me. Research thoroughly. If you like capsule hotels this is still very good 😊

Great value for the price. Excellent location near the Yamanote Line. The staff was kind, and the facilities were clean. Plenty of showers, sinks, and bathrooms, so I never had to wait. I liked that multi-day stays are possible – You have to stay out of the hotel between 11am and 3pm, but it was never a problem for me because I was out all day anyway. I only wish there was a lounge area for eating or chatting, or that eating and chatting were restricted to the seating area next to the showers. Because there was no lounge area, other ladies used the locker area, so sometimes it was hard for me to get enough space for repacking.

I just had a wonderful stay at Nine hours. Very suitable for solo female travellers. I would like to reach out to Nine hours Woman Kanda through email as I do not have a Japanese phone number. I have left my hair curler at second floor few days ago and I would like to retrieve it. Please contact me when you see my review, thank you very much!

Reasonable price and convenient location. This was my first time slept in capsule that feel not bad but just some guest dont follow the rule and making noise or even pick pack luggage in room that was annoying. It wasnt the hotel issue but just those people treat capsule hotel as normal hotel to take big suitcase and lots of stuff to hotel. I think they paid less but also need to respect what called capsule hotel and other guests. Will do again next time when visit tokyo but must carrying good quality ear plugs next time

It’s perfect especially if you’re a solo traveler. The capsule are big and comfy. Showers are on an another level so there’s no noise. Everything is extremely proper. Only downside is that you can’t be in the building from 11 to 15 because they’re cleaning and there’s no lounge

I stayed at Nine Hours Woman Kanda in June 2025. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I checked out early around 9:00 AM and left my luggage at the hotel, expecting to pick it up later. I returned about 40 minutes later than I originally planned, and I was charged 9,500 yen for the delay. This fee was never mentioned to me in advance, and I was not informed that late pickup would result in a penalty. I was also quite shocked by the way I was treated by one staff member. When I arrived, no one was at the counter, and when I found a staff member, she refused to listen to my apology and explanation. I felt very uncomfortable when she handed me the translation iPad in a harsh manner and refused to communicate clearly. I understand that every hotel has its own policies, but I believe important charges like this should be communicated in advance, and guests should be treated respectfully. I hope the hotel will improve its customer service and clarity in the future.

One stop away from Tokyo Station. The ladies at the front are amazing, sweet, and helpful. They also maintain the floors to keep things cleaned up. For the price, just know you only should book if you will be out all day and just need a place to shower and sleep. I heard shouting on the street around 12am which was a little annoying and unexpected. Upside? No need to pack pajamas, they give you necessary toiletries. You feel safe and it’s nice it’s women only. They do their best to upkeep and maintain cleanliness, for the price it’s a great location for food and from the Kando station. Would pay $40/night again but wish they’d update the charging adapters mostly and more air circulation where the capsules are. Thanks for providing a decent place to sleep and wash up after a wholesome day of exploring. 9 hours =absolute necessities don’t expect a 4-5 star experience when you’re only paying $40/night. That’s two meals here in Tokyo.

Shower facilities + Very spacious with plenty of room for your things as well as plenty of hair dryers to use. + Shampoo, conditioner and body soap are all provided to use in each shower! (all smell great) - limited chairs so even with the plenty of dryers there’s not very much room for everyone to use them. Rooms / Capsules + Also spacious with room for me to keep a small handbag with my things. There’s a single USB port so you can charge your phone in the pod. (Plus two other plugs I’m not sure what they are) - Very small indents in the wall for shelving that barely fits the average iPhone. - The rooms also get very hot and don’t seem to have any form of aircon or cooling beyond the first floor. Makes it very hard to get comfortable or fall asleep when feeling constantly sweaty. Times… - Has the average check in like most hotels of 3pm however, even after checking in, the next day you HAVE to leave by 11 in order to them to clean. I found this a little frustrating, when having had stayed out all night and wanted to come back and sleep only to have to wake up and get out for them to clean for half the day. + This however does mean everything is spic and span, and clean and tidy.

Yelp
A great barebones capsule hotel if you need a cheap and easy place to stay for a night! It's very conveniently located about 5 min from the Kanda train station, and was really easy to find on the street. When you walk in, it's extremely clean, and the people checking you in are very nice. They provide you with your towels, toothbrush/toothpaste, and pajama set while there, and also your key to unlock your locker, which is a QR code that also corresponds to your capsule number. You can then go into the locker room and place your belongings into the lockers! Each floor has toilets, but the main bathroom and shower area is on the 2nd floor, with capsules from floors 3-7. It was not crowded while I was there in the afternoon and mornings, but apparently later at night it gets quite crowded in both the locker area and the shower area! All the facilities are kept extremely clean and nice. Because there is only a paper covering in front of the entrance to the pod, you can hear everything that is happening nearby. Things got loud in the sleeping area from midnight to 2 AM, which was frustrating but not the fault of the capsule hotel, rather the patrons. It's a nice place for a 1 day stay! You do need to check out in between days while they clean the hotel from 10 AM to 2 PM, but I believe you can keep your luggage in your locker during this time. I recommend for the experience!

Yelp
One of a small but growing number of capsule hotels that can cater to women, this one only to women, leading to the unintentionally hilarious name of "9h nine hours woman." Terrific location, just a two minute walk from the JR Kanda station East exit (cross the street then take a sharp left down a block), located in a building with a very small footprint but occupying 7 stories. 9h's clean, modern aesthetic is evident right at the glass door entryway into the reception desk, a smooth wood against white walls. Everything, even copying of passport, done efficiently by iPad, rules explained, and card key provided. Passed the reception is the locker room, with assigned lockers for every pod, scan the cardkey QR code to open. The lockers are compact and can fit up to a large backpack or 20" rolling luggage, but larger will have to be stored elsewhere. A bag with towels, toothbrush/toothpaste, pajamas, and slippers is provided. Staying at 9h nine hours is great, if a dorm-like experience is acceptable. The entire facility is spotlessly clean, with very effective signage. It is generally quiet (depending on fellow guests). Shower rooms and toilets are very private, and the former are wonderful: roomy, with two shelves to put belongings, strong showers, including an option for the water to fall in a single thin column, and Tamanohada bath and hair products. There are one to two toilet rooms on every level, equipped with Toto washlets and a sink. Pod rooms are kept dark, but light emanating from each pod makes them look like a futuristic hive. Pods are fairly spacious ovoid tubes with an overly flat moon-shaped pillow, covers, mini shelves molded on each side, and a panel with light on/off/dim switch, USB port, and power socket. The privacy curtain can be pulled down and locked in place by notches in both sides. Access to luggage and changing is more challenging, as the locker room only has one bench, and while you can take your clothes and change comfortably in a shower room, I found myself making multiple trips back to get things I forgot I wanted; at least the elevator is fast. You can wear whatever you want, or use their pajamas, a long sleeve black shirt and pants. The pod rooms run warm, though, so they might be too substantial. For the price and location, it's a clean, well-maintained, and largely comfortable stay.
