Nine Pines Motel

I went to stay up North to get away from all the noise living in the city and I found peace and serenity at this motel. From the atmosphere to the staff. The rooms are cozy full of comfort and sublime. The staff were so kind and helpful for this stranger in their town. Two in particular employees really went out of their way for me Jennifer Jones and Jamie Willis without their dedication this motel would not be the same. I recommend this motel if you want to get away, see nature at its best and enjoy friendly, kind, and helpful people such as Jennifer Jones and Jamie Willis. Thank you!

It was a very cute room. Me and my wife stayed there Friday night and Saturday night October 17th and 18th on our 20th wedding anniversary weekend. The rooms were very clean. Definitely would stay there again.

My check-in was at 3pm, but the office was closed until almost 4. Ok. Then we got into our “clean” room only to discover that our hard floor had multiple sticky areas, a couple large. Bed was ok but noisy. I appreciate the other reviews but for us, this place is a one and done.

Clean, Cozy, and Comfortable! A very enjoyable 3 nights. No telephone (suits me), no fancy electronic/card door lock (just the old style key/bolt lock), very comfortable bed, towels were new and large, and the air/heat conditioning worked quite well. A very nice stay.

Great stay for a few days. Room was clean & quiet + a friendly staff. Not lavish by any means, but very comfortable with an "old school" cabin feel about it. Grocery & restaurants not far away also.

Positive: Room was clean and functional. The decor was basic but nice Negative: The road noise was pretty much unbearable. Advice, dont get rooms 10-15 due to traffic noise

Pinetop-Lakeside with its cooler weather and evergreens as a very pleasant surprise after driving all day through the desert! Nine Pines is old school log cabins on the outside but must have been recently renovated on the inside. The room was very clean and the cabin decor (Moose, Bear, Pines themed) was delightful. I loved the stony creek tile job in the shower! Check in was easy and staff was friendly and helpful. We ate at the Munich Haus just across the street and noticed other eateries close by. Highly recommend Nine Pines Motel.

Whenever we plan a trip to Show Low/Pinetop we always check with Nine Pine Motel for accommodations. They have a very attentive staff and provide answers to your most mundane questions about the surrounding area such as recreation and restaurants. Dan and Billy are the BEST. Nine Pines Motel offers those veterans looking for a reasonable cost-effective way to spend time in the pines can find it here without sacrificing location, cleanliness and amenities for a care-free stay. Thanks again to the staff and we look forward to our next stay.

Spouse and I stayed, and I have to say this is little gem is wonderful, set on the outskirts of town within walking distance of several very nice restaurants and under the pines. Our room was very nice and VERY clean. Since this was summer did need the AC land it was the quietist I have ever experienced. Bed was comfortable and the folks in the office were the nicest. Will be staying again, and I have no problem recommending this excellent property.

They do not enforce their own rules and do not have anyone working during quite hrs to enforce the rules. Extremely loud motel. Loud guests. Doors slamming. Loud talking after 10 pm. Loud tvs. No one on the property to help. This place is a joke! Do not stay here!

Fast overnight trip from Phoenix to Pinetop/Lakeside for a one day class. After reading negative Yelp reviews for the chain hotels I'd typically stay at, I opted to stay here b/c of so many positives! YAYS * Simple decor but clean * Quiet even off the main road * Front desk guy Aaron & Billy (the owner?) were attentive/friendly when I needed help with heater/TV * They have space heaters in the office to loan out! * Frig & microwave are convenient * Loved driving right up to my room to unload my car * COFFEE! NAYS * No chest of drawers/armoire to store clothes in, only a hanging rack * No light by the bed, only overhead lighting * Shower curtain was made of material so when it got wet, it was sopping; hanging a plastic liner would solve that * Shower control was wonky: I couldn't get hot water for the first shower; by the second time, I figured it out but shouldn't be that challenging * No curtain on bathroom window for privacy Again, Nine Pines worked out just fine for what I needed. I'd love to come back & stay here in the summer.

Nine Pines is a fantastic place to stay. Our cabin was charming and had a much fancier bathroom than we expected. And the staff was helpful with recommendations for restaurants and hiking trails.

didnt even get to stay there book my reservation thru booking .com with no prepayment and free cancelations well they billed my card immediatly would not refund the charge so i canceled the room still did not get a refund they called me several time saying there were processing the refund asked for my email to send a confirmation never recieved either complained with booking .com and finally had to dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back very unproffesional staff dont know what they are doing joe corbett

Great nostalgic motel. Clean, Comfortable and staff was very helpful. Stayed there on a whim So glad I did. Plan to go back again.

I booked 4 nights. The first night I was up till 1:30 am listening to other guests outside smoking, talking loud. At 11:30 another guest asked them to keep the noise down, which they ignored. The next morning, I went to the office and spoke with Dan about the problem. Another guest was already there, voicing his concern. Dan said he would take care of it. That night they continued the same thing. The third day I went to the office and asked Dan for the phone number of the after hours security in case the problem occurred again so I could call them directly. Dan said there is no after hours security. He said if I had a problem I should call the police. This was very unsettling to stay in a place where the management tells you to call the police department because there's no one on site to help. The third night we were up again, experiencing the same behavior from the same motel guest outside, smoking, laughing talking loudly until after 1:30 am. I cancelled my last night and ended up finding another hotel that was less expensive, had onsite security and a free breakfast. My experience with nine pines was terrible.

It's the first time in my adult life having traveled all over the world that I had to call the police to get a good nights sleep. Super noisy guests and no one there overnight to enforce the quiet hours. We did get a partial refund but there's no refund worth two nights of lousy sleep for a family wedding.

Another trip to Pinetop and another great stay at the Nine Pines motel. The motel is located farthes eastsidet of Pinetop. 2 min walk to the Lions Den bar and the Munich Haus. The rooms at Nine Pines are clean. They have a mini fridge, coffee maker free internet and microwaves. Beds are also nice. Rooms have both heat and AC with a fan above beds. The people that own and run this place are super nice and helpful. Mountain biking and hiking in the summer and skiing st Sunrise in the winter....which is only 30 miles away. Give them a shot. You will be happy with your choice.

We love this cute little motel. The woodsy cabin feeling is so cute. The place is very clean and the price is just right. This is our 3rd stay here now and it's become our get away .

Adorable little motel in Pinetop. The room was extremely cute with naughty pine floors walls and furniture. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and the bed frame, headboard and footboard was an unexpected surprise. The shower and bathroom was tiled and nicely done with burgundy towels which were a nice touch as well.

You cannot beat this place for the money. All the real wood floors and walls was awesome. The bed was awesome and we both slept like a log . We will be back for sure !

Very clean and cute little cabin like rooms. Family owned which is always nice as you can see they take pride in it. For the price point you can't beat it.Nice walking distance to a couple of bars one had live music. Opps I almost forgot too say comfy bed... another A little tidbit I want to share you must I mean must go to Darbi's for breakfast about a mile and a half down the road. The crunchy French toast is yummy, didn't much care foo r the chicken fried steak but the omelettes looked super yummy

Family owned motel with awesome hospitality! Billy made our stay very welcoming with restaurant and fishing advice and a quick checkin. The room was very clean and quite! The motel is close (5 minutes or less walking distance) to two bars, and a short drive to many areas to fish, antique shop, and steakhouses. The price, even with a last minute weekend check in with a dog, was extremely reasonable and you can park right in front of your front door. The shower and bathroom looked like it was new remodeled and had a heat lamp to keep it warm and cozy! I will definitely stay here again when visiting!

This has always been my go to place in Pinetop for the past 5/6 years. I have been staying here for years and never have experienced anything negative. I have stayed here 3 times in the past 2 months however, my last stay the weekend of 7/18 there was a major issue. I was awakened at 11:30 pm with a itchy bug bit on my back. I chalked it off to a mosquito bite and went back to sleep only to wake up a short time later with many more bites a few that were turning into large welts. I pulled the bedding down and saw a creepy little bed bug running across the sheets and looking further into this there were a few crawling on and into the wood trim next to the bed. I left outta there ASAP! I left my number and note about the issue for the owner to call me and he did however, he played the issue off and said sorry. Although he did say he and his ast. manager had gone thru the room and put bed bug covers on the beds and sprayed recently. Like I stated earlier on this place is my absolute favorite place to stay I feel the lack of importance this issue was given nor the offer of a refund says very much for these new owners. Hate to say it but I will looking for a new favorite place :(

My family usually goes up North, but we decide to give Pinetop/Showlow a try. Looked up places to stay read the reviews of Nine pines and decided let's give it a go. When we arrived we were a couple hours early before check in but we stopped in to see if it was possible to check in early which they let us. We had a king size bed with fireplace... Loved the decor! Bathroom is a little small but upgraded very nice. Lots of counter space small fridge coffee pot hot plate microwave, a small table all of which is nice. The bed was a little firm which I prefer my husband doesn't agree. We also stayed in a queen bed with futon and fireplace, smaller but nice... Both rooms were very clean! I have to say Kyle who I believe is management/owner is awesome! He's very friendly, welcoming, makes you feel at home. I would recommend this place and I will come back to stay here again!

Cute and cozy little cabin style motel! Very clean, very relaxing! The room was furnished with woodsy furniture, cozy blankets, and fun decor. Included microwave, TV, mini fridge, coffee maker and coffee, AC (I think heater too but we didn't use it) the bed was comfy and had nice blankets on them! Nice front porch area if you'd like to stand out side also a small picnic area if you'd like to eat out. We stayed for 2 nights and it was great!

I love this place. So does my doggie. Lovely people manage it. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

This is a fairly nice little place in Pinetop. Our room seemed generally new and clean. The carpeting is a little utilitarian compared to the rest of the decor. The room had a shower only, which is fine for my needs. Our room lacked AC. It was fairly warm in the room but the ceiling fan helped a lot. Check in was easy and painless, made better by the owners' two friendly dogs. I would stay here again, even though I thought the room wasn't necessarily worth what we paid.

I had the greatest time of my life this week thank you for the hotel room it was so nice. They come by and clean the rooms everyday if you put the maid service on the door. But they also let you have your privacy. It is a really nice place for a relaxing and quiet get away.

This is our second time here and we absolutely love it. It's warm, cozy and the gentleman that works at the front desk is very nice. We would recommend this place to anyone coming to town.

I would give it 5 but I didn't end up actually staying here so I don't know what the rooms are like. I thought I made a reservation at this hotel through Expedia. Expedia sent me a confirmation number and everything looked all set. Well, when I got there they told me they cut ties with Expedia months ago and it never should've taken my reservation! Plus they had no vacancy so couldn't accommodate me either way. I was obviously not happy but the manager went above and beyond trying to straighten everything out! He was so helpful, patient and sympathetic. I was able to stay somewhere else in town and Expedia covered the new costs but if I ever do go back to Pinetop, I'd definitely book with Nine Pines directly!

What a pleasant surprise in the White Mountains. Found this place on Google. Researched other similar properties. This one had the best reviews. Love room 16. Everything was perfect. Will definitely be back.l!!

I stayed here with my wife right after we got married, we loved it so much! The staff is very helpful and considerate. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially my friends and family! There are mountains for hiking, skiing, bike riding trails, and even lakes. Defiantly the best place to stay if your visiting the mountain. If your the outdoors type or not you will love this place! Everything is super close and the cost to stay is extremely affordable. I would give this place 6 stars if I could.

Love this place. Owners are friendly, rooms are fine. We have probably stayed four times over the past few years and are going again this weekend. If you forget a corkscrew, they have one!

This place is fantastic. Great price. Quiet, quaint and pleasant. Bathroom had great upgrades and the room was really nice. My friends have all stayed here, and now that my wife and I have, we'll be back a lot more. This place is great for a relaxing, non-expensive weekend.

This is our Pinetop getaway! We love the great service, cute rustic decor, and the affordable prices. The owners and management go out of their way to make the visit great, and they are wonderful at customer service! Some reviews talk about no AC, but they have AC in many, if not all, of the rooms now from what I could tell. Love our stays here!

This is our second time staying here and we have been more than satisfied both times. It's not the Hilton, but it is only about 30 min from Sunrise, so after a long day of skiing, it's a nice place to come back to and relax. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend if they are heading up for a ski trip! The staff is great and the rooms are reasonably priced.

Just got back from a mission trip on the Fort Apache Reservation. Our group stayed at Nine Pines, and it was an excellent experience. The rooms were VERY clean and the staff was above and beyond helpful as well as hospitable. I will definitely be staying her again and will recommend to my friends and family.

A pleasant and nostalgic motel. Prompted me to remember family road trips as a child along Route 66. Large spotless room, and bathroom, with two comfortable queen beds. Small fridge, microware, lots of counter space. Appeared to have been recently renovated. AC, on a warm summer afternoon/evening, would have earned 5-stars. Will recommend to friends.
