Nine Tree by Parnas Seoul Myeongdong I

The staff were very welcoming and warm to my mother and I. They spoke English very well, and they accommodated our requests to the best of their abilities. They have a restaurant on the lobby floor next to the reception desk, and they also offer a self-locker service, laundry, and microwave together on one of their floors. The service mixed with their facilities made navigation within the hotel smooth and easy. Upon check-out, they even assisted us outside of the hotel with our luggages and called a taxi for us to take to the airport (despite the fact it was raining).The location was also perfect for my mother. It is situated in pretty much in the heart of Myeongdong and right next to Myeongdong Station Line 4. It made traveling to different places in Seoul very easy as well as offered a variety of choices for restaurants and shopping. Even if we didn't choose to eat at a restaurant, the Myeongdong Night Market is right next to the hotel. We could easily purchase street food and bring it up to our rooms to eat.I am very satisfied with my stay, and I want to directly thank Mr. Steven, Mr. Daniel, Ms. Joy, and Mr. Sun for their hospitality and care to my mother and I. If you want a hotel in a solid location with easy access to different stores and restaurants as well as attentive and kindhearted staff, I recommend this location!

I stayed here with a mother for a vacation/visiting family trip. My mom isn't great with maps, so she wanted a place where she can just walk around and see different stores or shops. The hotel's location is perfect for her situation! It is located right next to Myeongdong Night Market which makes it easy to buy food from the stalls at night. It is also right next to Myeongdong Station Line 4 which makes it easy to travel to places further away from our area. If you want easy access to and from Myeongdong's shopping area, I highly recommend this place. While their location is perfect for easy access, the building's space itself is small and may be difficult to spot on its own. It is not like other hotels where there is a large sign or object depicting its location, but it is still possible to see through a map or walking (just a bit more difficult). Besides the location, the staff were so accommodating. They are able to speak English well, and they try their best to accommodate any requests we had. If our request was not able to be accommodated, they explained their reasoning well. I want to explicitly thank Mr. Daniel, Ms. Joy, Mr. Sun, and Mr. Steven for their wonderful hospitality and service to my mother and I. They also do have a restaurant located on the lobby area, and they also offer a self-locker, laundry, and microwave all on the same floor.

I would like to especially thank Ms. ROSY from Nine Tree Hotel. When we checked out, she kindly helped us call a taxi to Seoul Station. When the first taxi got canceled unexpectedly, she personally came downstairs to explain the situation to us, and even stayed with us until the next taxi arrived and we got in safely. Without her thoughtful and warm help, we would have been stranded and unsure how long we’d have to wait under the hot sun. Her professionalism and kindness truly made our last impression of the hotel a heartwarming one. Thank you, Rosy!

Rooms are not bad frankly and decently priced. Best thing is the location which is right at the doorstep of Myeongdong. Train station is short walk and also bus stop to go to the airport. Good value for money.

Good things: Great location, clean room, reasonable price, and friendly front desk staff when I checked in late in the afternoon. Room for improvement: I don’t understand why there is a raised step at the entrance to the bathroom, which I almost tripped on it twice. Also, I could easily hear when guests in the next room came back, walked past my door, or opened and closed their doors.

This time we stayed in a room on the 16th floor. Looking down, we could see the lively area of Myeongdong. The view was super good. The hotel checked out at 12 noon, which was very considerate for travelers. The counter staff kindly explained every service. It was a wonderful hotel. I will definitely stay there again next time.

The hotel room is clean and tidy. The location is defintely perfectly convenvient and near to all sorts of stores just right downstairs. The only thing the corridor of the room is right just fit with my 28” inches suitcase to get through. So, it will be perfect if the room is slightly bigger.

For our first time in Seoul, this hotel was about as wonderful as you can ask for! The rooms are SMALL but for two of us, we never felt too cramped (and honestly, there’s so much to do, we spent most of our time outside anyway). The room had everything we needed and the staff were wonderful when we asked for a few extra pillows. The bed was incredibly comfortable to us and the location was perfect for first time visitors. You are quite literally in the middle of a very touristy area with lots of places open late (yet the noise level was always fine). We got really lucky with our view and essentially looked over all of Myeongdong. The hotel was steps away from the blue line, which made it easy to transfer to the green line (or you could simply walk to a green line station less than 10 minutes away). The hotel is also able to put money on your T-Money card which was incredibly convenient! Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel if it’s your first time visiting Seoul! I’m not sure if we’d stay here again because of how touristy the area is, but it’s perfect for first time travelers!
