The wine flight was amazing. Each one better than the last. Josh did a great job explaining the tasting notes and vintage on each. We had the roasted chicken and the squash soup. Both were very good! Would highly recommend.

With the dramatic background of Heart Hill, we had a wonderful tasting at Niner of some of the best wines in the Paso Robles region. Our favorites were the Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The sustainable family farming of the vineyards paired nicely with the farm to table lunch we had after an excellent winery tour with Dusty. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We went to Paso the last week of January 2024 and let me tell you that we met the most wonderful associate there named Dusty! He was so personable and knowledgeable about wines and also the surrounding areas!! Dusty set the bar so high for us that we will always come back to Niner and hopefully we will be able to have him wait on us again at the bar ! Thank you Dusty for making our 31st wedding anniversary lunch such a special memorable and wonderful experience!

Google
Niner is a must when visiting Paso. I have been many times over the years and it continues to be one of the best. The wine is really good and so is the food. It is worth getting the tasting and planning on having lunch or an early dinner. Be sure to make a reservation. They do fill up.

Google
Exceptional experience. The wine tasting was great with great service. The food was unbelievable! I highly recommend this for the food. The property is breathtaking and has such a good vibe. We enjoyed a few hours here and highly recommend it to all. I wish the rose hasn't sold out, as I missed out because rose is my favorite.

Google
Yes, the rumors are true, this place is incredible, it smells amazing, the building looks really good, scenic grounds, the food is was some of the best in Paso Robles, the wine tasting was the most complex experience, our host did an incredible job of explaining when we were experiencing, very knowledgeable of every aspect even the most technical curiosities we might have had! It was a truly unique experience and can’t wait to return!

Google
Really cute winery and lovely Thanks to Rusty for taking care of us Ps: the person at the reception could use a better attitude to welcome the clients, we called a hour before to see if we were able to bring our dog and made us feel we were not welcome because nobody put a note in the computer…

Allison Harrison

Google
The best thing about the place was the two free tastings. The red wine was served way too cold so you couldn’t taste it. There were fruit flies everywhere - including the wine. There were no palate cleansers. Our server had zero personality - we saw it the most when he recommended OTHER wineries.

Yelp
The epitome of farm to table experience! We did our booking at 11 am and it was perfect timing for tasting and lunch (winter menu). Their focaccia bread was out of this world amazing. Get it with the garlic and leek cheese spread and absolute chef's kiss. We had a beautiful outdoor seating and had a lovely view of Heart Hill. Thank you to Chad for incredible service and being generous with the pours. Don't snooze on the Zinfandel! Two bottle purchase waived one tasting so we got one Zin and ganache. We had an extra pour to walk around the Chef's garden to see the chickens and some of the garnish on the meals. Even got to witness a proposal in front of the Heart Hill! Also dog friendly and kid friendly. Beautiful winery and EXCELLENT farm to table food experience.

Shahen S.

Yelp
Two stars mainly for the service and experience. The only good thing about this place were the last 2 red wines on the tasting list. We did a tasting and they pour all the wines for you at the beginning, give a rushed explanation of each wine, then you won't see your wine pourer for about 30 minutes. Our server wasn't great and they make you feel uncomfortable if it's anywhere near closing time. We were there about 1.5 hours before they closed and the last 30 minutes we were there they were already cleaning up around us as if they couldn't wait for us to leave and almost prompting us to hurry up. It's a Saturday! The wine pourers were discussing and counting cash tips right in front of us and it's very awkward and very strange. There are plenty of other wineries and much better places to try than Niner. First and last time we'll be there. $40 per tasting was not worth it.

Yelp
By far the most beautiful nicest personnel, met the awesome owner, Great Chardonnay, very flavorful Sauvignon Blanc. The land, the entry, the olive trees, everything was so beyond. We will definitely be back!!

Yelp
This was our first stop to kick off a fun filled trip to Paso (10/24). Drove out with my friends of almost 30 years. We enjoyed some wonderful wines and lunch in their outdoor seating area overlooking the vineyard and legendary heart hill. Wonderful hospitality! The grand main entrance is where you check in and are escorted to your reserved table or walk ins can enjoy a tasting at the bar. With the patio area full of guests, service was excellent. The homemade sourdough focaccia had a perfect crust exterior, airy pillow with chewy bite. Served with olive oil but I also enjoyed with with some of the charcuterie Parmesan spread. The rigatoni was a hearty choice though I thoroughly enjoyed it I would maybe reconsider the corn. Sweet, tender and perfectly cooked short rib was a succulent bite paired with smashed yellow and purple potatoes a substantial serving. The chicken had the most golden skin that was rendered flawlessly. The flight of wines were delightful it was a toss up with the 2021 Malbec. The bottle we chose was the 2020 Syrah. This was a great start to awaken our palates. Around the grounds are other small seating areas to enjoy sipping on some wine. The chefs garden was an easy stroll nearby. Various herbs, fruit and veggies were in full bloom. Private rooms and spaces available for special events. Non pretentious more of a farm to table sort of vibe with sustainability. On top of serving beautiful wine and food, all of their vineyards are SIP Certified and have a rainwater recapture system which received the California Green Medal Award for Business. The atmosphere is one to take in while enjoying the day. Will definitely return.

Yelp
I have been to Niner Wine Estates three times now. The first was on a wine trip to Paso two years ago and another two times as a stop either to or from a trip to SLO. The second time visiting Niner I joined the wine club and our most recent trip this past weekend was the first since joining. I can say that every time we have been there it has been an amazing combination of great wine, excellent food and service, and beautiful scenery and ambiance. I would wholeheartedly recommend this winery. My only regret is not living closer in order to be able to enjoy the perks of the wine club more often!

Marcus O.

Yelp
The food is absolutely amazing. You need to order the meat and cheese charcuterie plate. It is worth every penny! They change what's on it based on the time of the year and what is available. I am always impressed by how knowledgeable each person is about the food and wine served. Sidney was excellent! I love learning new things about food and wine. The ambiance was great! Not too loud. My wife and I were inside, but they have a large outside patio with heaters, which is especially good this time of the year when it can get cold. We will definitely make another visit here when we return to Paso Robles.

Joy K.

Yelp
We had another amazing experience at Niner Winery! This is a reservation only seated wine tasting with options to order off of their menu. There is limited seating in their covered patio area that looks out at their signature heart shaped tree formation on the hill. We tasted six reds. All were good. Our meal was focaccia bread, leafy salad, and roasted chicken in a chili butter sauce. Delicious! Take time to wander through their chef's garden. Bonus for us: we tasted at the Ninery booth at the Del Mar Food & Wine festival and received complimentary tastings. Thank you Yelp for the tickets to the Del Mar festival. Thank you Ninery for the complimentary tastings!

Dani S.

Yelp
Very nice friendly staff! Delicious wines and beautiful environment. Came here for a visit after reading many reviews online. We absolutely loved this winery. The staff were super nice and down the earth, as well as being very helpful. We didn't have time to do the tasting but we did get a glass of Pinot Noir and drank it while sitting in their adorable herb garden full of herbs and vegetables. It was so lovely. The Pinot Noir was absolutely delicious and so smooth. And of course one can't forget what this winery is known for the oak grove shaped like a heart. Totally instagram ready for all your photo needs. The grounds are so lovely. Highly recommend!

Yasamin S.

Yelp
A++ service, food and wine. I've been a member for over 3 years and always have a wonderful experience. I appreciate the amazing food since it's farm to table, seasonal, and I can try different menu items every visit. All of the staff is friendly. Request to sit outside for the most beautiful views of the vineyard and Heart Hill. One of the best wineries in Paso Robles.

Eric C.

Yelp
One of the prettiest scenery for a winery. Although it doesn't overlook the valley, it overlooks heart hill, which I think is charming in itself. Staff is fabulous They obviously love working at Niner. They speak highly of the owners which is reflected and how well they take care of their customers. It has a family like atmosphere. I think the food is top-notch here Their charcuterie board has everything a group of wine, zippers, and ask for Make sure you order the focaccia bread along with the charcuterie board. It pairs well together. My wife and I also got the salad with fried chicken. I ended up joining the membership because I like the service, the ambience and the staff Great job Niner family

Yelp
You think one winery is nice but then you walk into another that just keeps getting better. We've stopped by on Easter which they happened to be open as pretty much every other tasting room was closed. Right from check in, the service was great. The welcome drink while we waited for our table. We were seated outside, tasting bar was inside. Regardless ok where you're seated outside, the view was beautiful. The heart on the hill was the focal point. Wine, the selection that was chosen and pored were excellent. Everything was explained perfectly. Each one was good and does get better as you work your way to the finish. The food menu offered all sounded amazing. Seasonal dishes prepared on site. We didn't have any food but whatever we seen come out, they all looked amazing. The service was great. Their collection of reds was outstanding. Full bodied and flavorful. The property was beautiful. Right from walking in, there's the main tasting bar. Beautiful fireplace, and a massive full kitchen. Majority of the seating was outside with the view off the hillside and vineyard. Plenty of blankets for you if needed with the weather. There's also seating scattered throughout the garden area. They also has a kitchen garden that your able to walk through and check out. Beautiful flowers, and veggies mixed in together. A couple of chickens in the coop for that extra touch. The whole property is beautiful, wine was delicious, service was amazing. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Sarah U.

Yelp
Beautiful winery. The food and service are great! Love their charcuterie board and their fresh baked bread is an absolute. The red wine is decent, although it's not my favorite red wine in the area. The Sauvignon Blanc and sparkling wine are really good here. The ambience and the food make it worth a trip!

KayAnna A.

Yelp
An absolute gem of a winery and vineyards. The vineyards are stunning and so is the estate itself. Great attention to care shows through everything that is done by staff. We made a reservation ahead of time for our large party and we were easily seated as soon as we arrived. Our tasting was already setup and we had a fantastic server. She was very knowledgeable and helped with everything she could. While their wine is delicious and memorable, the bread with miso butter was just outstanding. If you order nothing else, at the very least get the bread and butter!

Jill M.

Yelp
Saw the Walk Ins Welcome sign displayed out front, so decided to check this place out. Upon entering, saw it wasn't busy, yet we were told they had hit their quota for walk ins (at approx 3pm). Not to worry, we went down the road to Summerwood and had a welcoming & delightful experience with Margaret. Skip Niner and go to Summerwood! Beautiful facility, thus the only reason for the two stars.

Lu T.

Yelp
An outstanding tasting experience with fantastic wine and food. In addition the service provided by Dusty was awesome. Let me start with the wine. The wine were very good. We did leave with a couple of bottles, the cab and rose. Now for the food, the toasted chicken with tarragon in a Creme Fraiche sauce was outstanding. It was one of the best dishes I have eaten year to date and I have traveled a lot this year so far experiencing a lot of quality food. The chicken was tender while the skin was crispy from a fry. The sauce was so good, we ordered an additional focaccia bread to dip it up. The experience was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Yelp
What a fabulous experience Niner is. The food, the wine, the service, the ambiance, all fantastic. I'm normally one to keep my wine tasting and lunch separate, but after many trips to Paso, driving past Niner each time, and constant recs to come here, I finally decided it was time to book a lunchtime reservation. We booked a couple weeks ahead and were able to snag one of the last available ones for the weekend we were in town. Almost instantly after checking in we were welcomed with a pour of wine. While we waited for our table to be ready we sipped and hung out in the beautiful foyer admiring heart hill outside. We soon sat at our table and began wine tasting then ordered our lunch. To eat we got the sourdough focaccia with miso butter, bolognese, and scallops with lentils. Everything was absolutely delightful, with the stars being the bread and the lentils. I've truly never eaten lentils that were so delicious and full of flavor...I'll for sure be trying to recreate the magic they did with them. We enjoyed the beginning of our wine tasting on it's own, then continued with the food. Once we finished lunch and our set tasting, our server Dylan, who was fantastic by the way, brought us out some other wines that they had open. We really enjoyed getting to try some more of the wines and experience the different varietals Niner is all about. I think next time we might try to taste and then have lunch or vice versa, so that we're able to pay a little more attention to the wines. But either way, we really enjoyed the experience and getting to eat and taste everything. It is definitely one of the pricier tasting experiences you'll have if you're also eating lunch and buying bottles, but it was well worth it for how good of a time we had. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
We scored a reservation here last minute for a tasting and a dinner, and were in awe the second we drove onto the estates. The vineyards roll over the hills with a heart-shaped grove of trees at the top, and the building gives off castle feels. We were welcomed in with a welcome wine and led to our table right next to the open kitchen. Jay was our server and so knowledgable about all the wines, the estate and the history of the winery. Each of us opted in for the tasting and got different dishes for dinner to try. I went for the short ribs and polenta, while my husband got the chicken over white beans and dried cherries. The food was exquisite, especially the chicken that was perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the tart cherries balancing out the saltiness of the white beans, as was the wine. Jay surprised us with a complementary scoop of house-made ice cream after our meals as we were celebrating a joint birthday there - the olive oil chocolate (dairy free!) was shockingly good, as were all the other flavors. Per usual, we went home with a few bottles and extremely full stomachs after wandering outside through the grounds and taking way too many pictures of a gorgeous rainbow that hit Heart Hill just perfectly.

Yelp
What an amazing experience and lunch at the Niner Wine Estates. I gotta say this was our most favorite winery out of all the wineries we visited over the weekend while on a girls trip celebrating two of my cousins bdays. I had made reservations for 11 two months ago knowing they get really busy. Once we walked in we were immediately greeted with a glass of Chardonnay for us all. I told the hostess that we have two additional guests that joined us last minute and without any attitude or hesitation she told me let me tell your waiter to add two more chairs. WOW ... now that's great customer service. Our table was right by the gardens. So beautiful all around. The ambiance here is just amazing. Matt was friendly and attentive. He made sure we all felt welcomed and happy with our food and drinks. We ordered the Foccacia and the olives and the tuna as appetizers. So delicious. Went well with Sauvignon Blanc. We all ordered individual meals and all of us enjoyed our food very much. So fresh and delicious and flavorful. I got the fried chicken that the chef served with fresh cherry tomato salad. It was sooo good. I can still smell and taste the tomatoes. The pasta dish my sister got was amazing. I had to steal some from her. Overall everything tasted great and the service was superb. We also did some shopping such as wine glasses, olive oil lotions, bottles of wine etc .... We had a lovely time. I highly recommend Niner Wine Estate, a must stop when in Paso Robles.

Anna S.

Yelp
I can't wait to come back to this winery. It's so well kept, welcoming, and has a little bit of everything! If you want food, dessert, tasting flights, glasses of wine, cute gift shop, bar area for a more casual tasting, dining area, ample parking, they've got it all! We decided to come a day early, so we didn't have reservations on a Tuesday. Thankfully they were able to squeeze us in for lunch and glasses of wine out on the patio area. There is sun coverage (was a bit warm in 93F) and we got a wonderful view of heart hill. We were offered a welcome pour of their chardonnay while we waited for our seats. Service was great and friendly, informative as well. I enjoyed the chardonnay and sauvignon blanc. The menu is simple, food was good, nothing spectacular. The best part of the ROASTED STRIPED BASS were the blistered tomatoes...and the olive oil..magnificent. The CHILLED SHRIMP AND SAFFRON POTATOES were a bit underwhelming, but they were nice sized pieces of shrimp. The cucumber salad was okay as well, it had blackberries onions and mint. We love loved the coffee granita, they make their own ice cream and sorbets. Try them out!!! Though not marked on the menu, they were able to tell me which dishes were gluten free, or could be made gluten free. Oh! They also had a photobooth in front of heart hill where you can email yourself photos taken.

Yelp
With so many wineries to choose from in the area, it can be difficult. We came here on a recommendation from our aunt who knows her wine. Employees were friendly and Sydney provided us with excellent service. We sat outside and it was beautiful. Had our flight of tasting and ordered some spectacular food to go with it. Please, you cannot leave this place without trying the focaccia. We had the one topped with basil butter and heirloom tomatoes. It was love at first bite and out every other focaccia to shame. Apparently the charcuterie is pretty big and being it was only 2 of us, we were allowed to order and single cheese and a side of salami. The grounds are so beautiful don't miss heart hill and they have a little garden with flowers, veggies, and chickens you can grab your wine and walk through. Also, if you buy 2 bottles of wine, you forgot the cost of 1 tasting. So peaceful and relaxing I know it seems weird but I'd recommend the first tasting at 10 am we felt like we had the place to ourselves for quite a while.

Foodie B.

Yelp
We love Niner and that they are dog friendly! Came in today and Andrea was our hostess. She did a fantastic job explaining the wine and taking care of us. We love every wine on their menu and the food is truly a treat for the tastebuds! The fresh bread is not to be missed. Beautiful grounds, great food and wines and one of our favorite spots to visit when in town. Try to make reservations if you can to make sure you get the experience you are looking for as they are busy most of the year :)

Sandy H.

Yelp
Beautiful winery with excellent food and wine had lunch with Salem the cat sitting at our table Chad our server was lovely scenery fabulous with the sweetheart tree Definitely will be back highly recommend

Lauryn T.

Yelp
Took my parents on a trip to Paso Robles and this place came highly recommended! Let me tell you this place lived up to and exceeded the hype! The grounds are just stunning. They planted oak trees in the shape of a heart on the hill so you can see it when your sitting inside or outside plus driving into the place. Very beautiful and eye catching. The grounds alone have a garden which they use for all the food they serve, you can bring your dog, or take a tour around. We came for a tasting and lunch and both were absolutely fabulous! They greated us with a chardonnay and took us to our seats. We got the marinated Olives they do have pits but the flavor was great and Olives go great with their tasting. The bread of course was yummy and so soft. A must get for sure. The three of us spilt the chicken, burrata, and short ribs as our mains. The chicken might be the best chicken I've ever had! Seasoning and cooked to perfection. The short ribs cut so perfectly and the carrots were tender. Definitely nailed this dish. 10 put of 10 for sure. The burrata and tomatoes were so flavorful. The tomatoes were full of flavor and the burrata was so creamy. If you go Definitely split stuff so you try different dishes. Now to the wines!. We got to try 5 different wines all reds. I like all of them but the zinfandel, syrah, and the cab were stand outs! Also I got a glass of the savy B and holy wow! Outstanding! They know how to make wine! We bought so many bottles! Make sure to stop here for lunch and a tasting you won't regret it! We will be back for sure!

Andria S.

Yelp
My husband and I are from WA and this was our first trip to Paso for our Anniversary. As I work in the wine industry in WA I was very excited to get to know Central CA Pinot Noirs. Niner was just incredible! It was our first stop and what a way to start! Matt was very attentive, knowledgeable and kind. The grounds were beautiful. We will definitely recommend and return on a future trip.

Melissa S.

Yelp
Had a wonderful experience wine tasting at Niner Wine Estate. Andrea was our server and she's a big reason why we had such a great time. She was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the history of Niner and its wines. We loved the wines and the focaccia bread was excellent. We will be back!

Angela A.

Yelp
Dusty is so flippin cool and fun and accommodating and full of knowledge to boot! We would come every week if we could! The food should have 4 Michellan stars daily Great job Niner staff and chefs

Shery P.

Yelp
We had a lovely tasting with Sydney today. She was very informative and attentive. The wines were delicious as was the burrata and heirloom tomato salad. We joined the wine club. Can't wait to check out their events.

Mike M.

Yelp
What a wonderful experience we had here! We had the tasting and food. We took a couple bottles home that would be great with food such as the Grenache. The focaccia with the leek spreadable cheese was just an absolute must get with your tasting. Overall highly recommended!

Bre R.

Yelp
Our experience was unforgettable. I need to find a way to say it briefly: Hospitality 5 stars- we were welcomed in on a week day with no reservation and no shaming. We enjoyed the welcome cat. Our host was Destiny and she was very accommodating. Extra splashes appreciated! Food- the best charcuterie we have tasted. We make them & we sample them often at wineries. Creative and beautiful. See photo. Wine - Excellent medium bodied reds. Our favorite was 2020 Zinfandel. Extras - the Harriers hunting about Heart Hill. The chefs garden full of food & flowers, and we were allowed to meander through with a glass. Made my day. Thank you.

Geoffrey W.

Yelp
The tasting room is beautiful, the service is always excellent and the hosts are super friendly, and the wine is some of the best in Paso. I'm not normally a Pinot drinker, but their Pinot is outstanding. You should give it a try.

Nancy S.

Yelp
Short Review: Niner Wine Estates is an excellent place to have wine tasting, great service, and an excellent lunch to boot! High end. Bourgeoisie. Always. Long Review: Of all the wineries in Paso Robles, I'd say this is one of the best (and I've been to a few...). Elegant, high/end ambiance, friendly service, and excellent food! Make a reservation ahead of time, or you won't get in. Several choices in types of tastings and wine clubs. Tasting fee waived with a two bottle purchase... so you know what you gotta do. Complimentary for Club Members. Just sayin'! High recommend.

Meg W.

Yelp
I am a member at Niner Wine Estates - the only winery that I'm a member of. They won me over with their incredible wine, beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, excellent customer service, and sustainable practices. It's really incredible to find a business with an incredible product as well as values that I agree with. Anytime we are going to be nearby, I try to make sure to drop by to pick up some bottles, have a tasting, enjoy the food, or just relax for a bit in the garden. The grounds are lovely.

Eric S.

Yelp
I cannot give Niner enough love - they are truly magical in all aspects. Hands down the best winery in Paso. The property is beautiful and we had the luck of taking a members only tour of all operations after a wet winter. Seeing how everything is produced from the vines, equipment and storage was amazing. The property is situated in a unique climate with streams beneficial to the grapes and the tasting room is stunning with amazing staff. We were fortunate to get a private table in the veggie garden for a tasting and vegetarian meal. I wish I could post more photos! Being a member makes you feel like a part of the family and I always look forward to their shipments. Skip the other vineyards and please visit Niner!

Shannon M.

Yelp
4 of us came here for the first time for lunch. The person that welcomed us was so friendly and poured us a little glass of wine while she went and made sure our table was ready. The rooms at the winery are just beautiful. High ceilings; lots of stone work. We were seated for lunch and immediately had water and menus. We decided to pass on a tasting and just ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir which was fabulous and light enough to pair with whatever we ordered. 3 of my friends had the short ribs over polenta and I had the petrale sole. The sauces that came with our food were incredible. Had two orders of the yummy focaccia bread. Our server, Hannah was so professional and we really appreciated her. So friendly and she checked on us regularly. I highly recommend coming here for lunch. Next time, we are going to get one of the fabulous charcuterie trays.

Maria A.

Yelp
They sat us, served us and kept the service top notch and accommodated our request for a smaller cheese platter. Beautiful property and well invested with landscaping. Wine was excellent. Enjoyed our experience.

Nancy M.

Yelp
After reading all of the amazing reviews, our family decided to pop in and see if they would take us without a reservation. First, I will start with the pros- - Beautiful grounds - Limited menu, but truly delicious food Unfortunately, we did not have the best experience. From the moment we walked in and informed the host that we were not interested in doing a full wine tasting, I felt the energy off. Our waiter, as well, didn't seem the most welcoming or gave much of a greeting. We ordered two dishes and two glasses of wine to accompany our meal, which equaled more than the price of two wine tastings so I wouldn't think it a loss of revenue. Our waiter never checked back in with us during the meal. I think the biggest let down was being given the check without requesting it and without much acknowledgement if we had enjoyed our meal or wanted anything else. Perhaps it was because we didn't have a reservation and another party was coming? I'm unsure, but we devoured the delicious food as soon as got it so it didn't feel like we had even gotten close to overstaying. The grounds are beautiful and they even have an ipad set up to take pictures so it seems they would encourage the patrons to slowly enjoy their experience (as is the general vibe for vineyards). Looking at all the other reviews, perhaps it was just an off day for the host and our waiter? Unfortunately, the service does impact greatly the overall experience especially when at a vineyard and for the price tag.

Sarah A.

Yelp
Had a fantastic time here on a Wednesday morning in August (reservation made Monday before). Warm welcome when you walk in, beautiful view of the vineyards as you drive in. You are treated to a refreshing taste of a white wine when you check in and then we were quickly brought to a table on their patio. The tasting works well if you are on your way to another reservation or don't want to hold up your fellow tasters-they pour all 4 tasting glasses, give short tasting notes and then let you taste at your own speed. We were checked on often and our food order came out quickly as well. Love the setting, the view, and all the wine we tasted. Cheers!

Angela J.

Yelp
I'm a member with the winery and finally had a chance to make it to Paso Robles and have a tour of the winery. Kyle was an amazing host and took the time to answer all our questions. We ended our tour with a tasting of their library wines and had an amazing lunch with amazing food. The view of Heart Hill and the vineyard is amazing and I could spend all day here. Reservations are highly recommended especially on the weekends, but sometimes during the week you can walk in.

Chris D.

Yelp
The restaurant here is one of the best meals I've ever had. Mind blowing amazing. Chef Jacob Burrell won an episode of Indonesia's Iron Chef so you can experience some of the glory by eating here. Made a reservation and we were seated in a building behind the tasting room which was very private. You can also sit in the tasting room or in the garden. This is probably one of the most expensive meals I've ever had so go in not worrying about the bill and you'll enjoy yourself more. Since I knew it was costly I just went for it and got the wine flight, appetizer, entrée, dessert, everything. Eff it. YOLO. One nice surprise about the expensive wine flight is our waiter not only served us the set flight but also let us try pretty much any wines on their menu along with refills. So at first it seems like a ridiculous price for 4 tiny pours ended up being a great deal for the amount my wife and I drank. Honestly still not my favorite winery but much much better than my previous visit. The previous owner passed it along to his son who drastically improved the wine. One of the best Chardonnay's I've ever had and I loved their Cab. To start my wife and I shared the house made sourdough focaccia topped with garlic garbanzo spread and fried cauliflower. It was two huge slices so perfect for sharing. I don't even have the vocabulary to describe this dish. It wasn't the most photogenic thing but the aroma was heavenly and it was literally one of the best things I've ever eaten. My wife had the roast beef over cheddar potato waffle. Again, comes out, not that photogenic, then you take a bite and you're transported into another realm. Dialogue stops because you're too busy moaning and groaning while savoring every bite not caring about anything else in the world. I went with the pan seared scallops server over braised cabbage, yams, carnalized onions, and smoked plums. This dish was a thing of beauty and if my wife even dared trying to take a taste of my plate I would have bitten her hand like a ravaged dog. No way am I sharing this. It came with two scallops. I don't care who you are, this is all for me. MIND----BLOWING---MOUTH---GASMIC---------EFFING A. Already spending a fortune, eff it, wife wants French fries. Let's got some expensive French fries. How the hell are these French fries so good?! Finally ended with some mascarpone ice cream sprinkled with coffee and served over lady fingers. Should have ordered two since wife and I were spoon fencing trying to get as many bites as possible. Was this the most expensive dining experience I've ever had? Sure! Was it worth it? Every single penny. Absolutely loved it. Already spent so much I went ahead and bought a bunch of wine too. Hell with it! While settling my bill they were packing my order in the tasting room which was waiting for me when I left.

Yelp
We had such a wonderful lunch! Our friends booked the lunch and I had not done any prior research. The thought of lunch at a winery beyond charcuterie made me hesitant but lunch was about visiting friends. I ordered a roasted chicken dish with crispy skin and a flavorful sauce. My wife had a tasty pasta and both dishes had us practically licking our plates. The ambiance was beautiful and perfect. The server was pleasant, welcoming, and knowledgable. We would love to come back for lunch.

Yelp
The ambience, wine, service, and views were superb! Dusty was our waiter and he was so attentive and helpful. He even saw that I felt a chill and without me even asking went ahead and closed the back door from where the draft was coming from. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Make your reservations for lunch with your wine tasting and enjoy the views. If the weather is nice, sit outside. I don't drink wine, but I really enjoyed the experience. Lunch was wonderful and after the tasting, we walked the grounds. Don't miss the chef's garden or the heart in the hills.

Yelp
This is a beautiful winery. They have a lovely restaurant with an open kitchen. They even have a beehive or two on top of a hill. They even have a garden on the side where I'm sure they get their ingredients. I did try their wine since we didn't make a reservation for a tasting. We got there even before they opened so it wasn't even busy when we got there. They couldn't even just let us in. Only other people I saw there were potential customers looking at wedding venues. So it's not overrunning with customers. Oh well. We did buy a bottle of wine and some coffee beans in a wine bottle.

Yelp
We loved Andrea our server. She's so knowledgeable about everything. She was so attentive and answered all our questions. I loved all the wine we tasted and the food is incredible. If you've never been there you need to go soon! I'm definitely going back again!

Yelp
Our 1:00 winery tour was informative, fun, and our guide was extremely knowledgeable of all things Niner. He also then became our service pourer of our wine tasting that was exceptional. This is a winery tour worth the time, and the service for lunch after along with the quality of food made for a perfect afternoon. Well Done Niner!

Yelp
Pulling up to Niner Wine Estates you can tell that your experience is going to be a good one. Was in town tasting for my mom's birthday with a larger party and the hosts at Niner were awesome! Matt was our server and he did a phenomenal job explaining the wines and checking on us frequently. The service overall is was amazing as we were running late and they were able to take us. I do encourage to call ahead to let them know your situation and a lot of wineries will accommodate if they have the space. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting the French fries as they are perfection, chefs kiss on for sure!! The tasting room we were in was very nice. The whole interior of Niner is very incredible and very very well done. The weather was a little poor so we only stepped outside to get a group shot. The wine was very good however 3/4 pours were all variations of a Syrah, with the 4th being a Cabernet. The wine was good but not everyone at the table are Syrah fans so I was a little bummed. However they do come and ask if you'd like to try another wine or two and they check what is already open. I tried their 2017 Pinot Noir and it was amazing.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch without a reservation after calling first and being told it would be ok. The gentleman at the host stand acted very off put that we were coming in for lunch and was not welcoming or friendly! Tasting fee was high and given the cold welcome, we skipped this place and moved on. Note to management: the people who greet you at the door make or break the experience. I know you think your wines are amazing but charging such a huge fee to taste is going to limit the customer base.

Yelp
Beautiful winery with amazing food and wine, can't beat that! One of the few wineries where they offer food. We ordered the beet salad, sourdough focaccia, the chicken and the Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts is delicious! All the vegetables were so fresh. We also had the wine flight and my favorite was the Syrah. The wine paired very well with the food. Reservations is a must. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
