Ningaloo Coral Bay Backpackers

The room was big and clean. There is an outdoor pool and kitchen with tables. The accommodation was good, but there was no cold water - so we had to brush our teeth and drink hot water. There is a sign indicating that this can happen at times, since it gets very warm outside, so be prepared for this.

Our room (ensuite double room) had termites, no hot water, a poor shower head with very little flow, and there was a lot of noise until 1am in the morning from people partying, singing, and jumping in the pool in the common area. I definitely do not recommend this for anyone wanting to have a quite holiday. The air con in the room was not powerful enough to keep the room cool.. so we ooened the windows, which increased the noise level.. The room had too much (termite infested wood) furniture leaving very little space for luggage.

My Husband (62) and I (47) stayed 9 days in a double A/C room. Comfortable bed, air con worked perfectly, very clean toilets and showers. Beautiful plants and succulents throughout. The pool/bar area has new ceilings fans and a cool breeze most of the day. Really nice common area. Has a really cheap bar and couple of pool tables. Great place to have some laughs with friends and meet people. The kitchen is in need of a big clean up and reno but still quite large allowing lots of people to cook simultaneously. We had a private room for three (bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom) which was good quality. The room has a window and lockers. Bathrooms were very clean too. The laundry is outside which is really good but very easy for someone to walk into backpackers and steal clothes on the line as it is next to the exit. However, I felt fine using it every time and was never worried (just a thought if you have anything valuable). Staff were very helpful. Can book certain wildlife tours through the backpackers.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Hostel was clean and well-run. Showers/bathrooms were generally in good condition. Kitchen space was great. We did request an additional blanket at reception after the first night as we were only provided with a flat sheet and temperatures were quite chilly at night. Overall good value and nice spot.

Stayed here one 3 different occasions within a 2 weeks period - rooms, bathrooms and kitchen constantly in great clean conditions and staff always friendly and accomodating. Definitely on the nicer end of backpackers compared to most other backpackers, I felt clean and safe at all times.

Stayed in Jan and it was pretty quiet. Only had to share the 10 bed dorm with one other. Everything was kept clean, bathrooms had a lot of scale due to the bore water, wifi worked, kitchen was serviceable. Only real negative was the lack of power points in the dorm, which would only have become an issue if the room was full.

I stayed here with family for a few days during a snorkeling trip to coral bay. 'Resort' is a bit generous of a word to describe this place, but we really did have an enjoyable stay. The kitchenette was adequate enough for us to prepare meals for our group of 5 every night, the beds were comfortable and the view from our second floor balcony was absolutely beautiful! The beach was just a few minutes walk from the resort and the main shopping center in town was walking distance as well. The wifi came free with our room, though only one device could be connected at a time and you had to log in each time, which was kind of annoying. And our water shut off right when I was in the middle of taking a shower, also annoying, though they had that fixed in less than an hour. Overall I had a great stay and if I ever make it back out to Coral Bay I'd easily stay here again!

Wonderful Wedding Venue on the grass or around the pool in front of the most stunning beach where you can feed the fish or snorkel. Good food and good wine list. Bands are on sometimes which make it a fun place.

Interesting ... the "resort" is at the end of the town and with rooms high up most get a sea view. There is a pub, restaurant and bottle shop onsite. With the layout of the rooms, either side of the pub, it can get noisy. Its quite comfy, the rooms have kitchen facilities and a deck to relax on. Old accommodation but is quaint so fits the feel of Coral Bay perfectly.
