The RAC is currently developing a new resort in Coral Bay and has unilaterally blocked public access to one of the few remaining beaches in the area. This is deeply disappointing, especially given that there are no alternative dog-friendly beaches nearby. For travellers with dogs, Coral Bay is no longer a suitable destination. Public spaces should remain accessible to everyone—this kind of exclusionary approach sets a troubling precedent.

Still closed. Closed when i returned April 2024 and again now but good to see the foundation is in. Hopefully its finished by the time i return in august . I preferred this hotel in Sep 2023 compared to the others in town ...

This accommodation is in a fabulous location but delivers an ok experience. Nothing much to complain about nor much to rave about. The food is average with a poor breakfast choice and the room walls are paper thin. Some staff are great and some not so. Staffing in this location will always be a challenge. The location right on the beach, literally a hundred metre stroll!

We stayed here for two nights in May. Pros: Location was fantastic with the beach and snorkel hire right on your doorstep Staff are very friendly and helpful Good WiFi Great shower Comfortable bed and linen Cons: Rooms definitely need some TLC - stained and damaged floors with the hob top barely being safe to use Lots of cockroaches in the bathroom Walls are very thin - we were kept awake on the first night by snoring one side and a loud TV the other Overall: Unfortunately at the current price of $330 per night, the quality of the room is just unacceptable. If the price was lower, the review would certainly be better. If the owners invested in fully redecorating the hotel, it would certainly be worth the money you pay. Unfortunately, however, choices are limited here and this place probably represents the best of a bad bunch.

This was our first time not camping whilst in Coral Bay. The location is beautiful and the food and drinks were great. However, rooms were quite outdated. Bed & linen were extremely uncomfortable. Only 1 pillow provided. We paid significantly more than when we camp however would have been more comfortable in our own set up. We cannot fault the staff, they were absolutely lovely.

Yelp
I stayed here with family for a few days during a snorkeling trip to coral bay. 'Resort' is a bit generous of a word to describe this place, but we really did have an enjoyable stay. The kitchenette was adequate enough for us to prepare meals for our group of 5 every night, the beds were comfortable and the view from our second floor balcony was absolutely beautiful! The beach was just a few minutes walk from the resort and the main shopping center in town was walking distance as well. The wifi came free with our room, though only one device could be connected at a time and you had to log in each time, which was kind of annoying. And our water shut off right when I was in the middle of taking a shower, also annoying, though they had that fixed in less than an hour. Overall I had a great stay and if I ever make it back out to Coral Bay I'd easily stay here again!

Yelp
Wonderful Wedding Venue on the grass or around the pool in front of the most stunning beach where you can feed the fish or snorkel. Good food and good wine list. Bands are on sometimes which make it a fun place.

Yelp
Interesting ... the "resort" is at the end of the town and with rooms high up most get a sea view. There is a pub, restaurant and bottle shop onsite. With the layout of the rooms, either side of the pub, it can get noisy. Its quite comfy, the rooms have kitchen facilities and a deck to relax on. Old accommodation but is quaint so fits the feel of Coral Bay perfectly.
