Current Artist Workshop has become one of my very favorite places to secure/buy art. I love Michelle Noah's work so much - have her pieces in my living room and study (get lots of comments from others when they see her art) - am eyeing two new pieces she has posted. Just love the color, style and creativity!! The shop is so cool in downtown Garland - all the events Current hosts are pretty fun - and the workshops...the best!

9th Street Gallery is truly a gem! The atmosphere is welcoming and inspiring, perfect for art lovers and creatives. Michelle is an amazing artist whose talent shines throughout the space. The gallery also offers beautiful art pieces for sale, making it a great spot to find unique artwork. Whether you're looking to admire art, purchase a piece, or schedule an artistic experience, this gallery is the place to be. Highly recommend visiting! I love it every time I visit.

Michelle is amazing and her artwork is such an inspiration. She hosted us for a staff party where she cooked and gave us painting lessons. We had a GREAT time. Perfect for group events.

I love this place and this creative soul!! Michelle is a joy to know. She hosted a private workshop for me and my grandchildren ages, 10 and 12. Earlier that day, we went to an indoor skydiving experience—but we finished up the day at Current. My 27 year old daughter (who is pregnant with her first baby), and my grandchildren did not want to leave, so Michelle graciously allowed us to extend our stay so they could keep painting. My grandchildren declared on the drive home that the time with Michelle was the best part of their day!! •Michelle created a beautiful piece for our guest room—a sailboat on a vast blue sea! Friends and family who have seen the painting are quick to say positive things about her work. •Michelle’s passion for art is one thing, but her love for people intersects with her passion, and therefore, she is relatable and able to create pieces that appeal to one’s taste, and also create commissioned pieces. Current Artist Workshop is great for the community of downtown Garland! Michelle interacts with the local community regularly. So, make a trip to downtown Garland to encounter a special experience!! Current Artist Workshop is full of color and fun—just like Michelle!!

This first time I went to Current Artist Workshop my cousin took me as part of my bridal shower. Michelle was so sweet and helpful. She provided all of the supplies so we only had to show up and be ready to have fun! I loved how private the event was. She reserved 2 hrs for us and was totally flexible. Needless to say I had a great time and decided to refer her to my boss. On Friday, we held our Christmas office party at Michelle’s studio. Once again, everything was exceptional. She is so talented that she is able to handle multiple people painting different things at the same time. She doesn’t make everyone paint the same thing which is something we all loved. Everyone went home with a different painting and excited about their artwork. Michelle definitely created a calm yet joyful experience for all of us. I definitely look forward to planning more events with her in the future. If you are planning to have a bridal shower, corporate party or any other type of event, you have to go to Michelle. I have had two birthday parties for my daughter (now 10) at Current Artist Workshop. This is a great venue for older girls who still want a party for their special day but want to feel more grown up. The studio is bright and welcoming, so party decorations need be minimal. Michelle Noah does an amazing job of working with the kids and nurturing their creativity. I also LOVE the fact that all the kids get to take their art work home--a lot more meaningful and lasting party favor than the typical bag of plastic trinkets! Michelle also did a workshop in my home for a women's weekend I hosted this fall. What a lovely way to bond with my girlfriends!! Very affordable, reasonable pricing.

Current Artist Workshop is a wonderful art studio in charming downtown Garland. Michelle, the owner, is usually painting in the front or giving a class in the back of the studio. She's always been so welcoming and will gladly give anyone a tour. The studio is filled with colorful paintings and her themed classes are fun to take, some even involve cooking! Definitely a don't miss if you are in the downtown Garland area.
