Niriides Hotel & Apartments

I loved this hotel situated away from the main town, walking distance to beautiful pebble beach. The apartments are well cared and the staff were helpful. The main evening waiter, and barman (same person) was amazing.|I didn’t enjoy the choice of food, and it would be great if they extended their snack menu. All lunch options were big meals. Although they offer a courier service to and from town for a fee, it seemed to get complicated to book this. Breakfast was good although it is quite away to carry tray to table.|Beautiful location, and I’ll be back.

We had the most wonderful time last week at the Niriides. It was so good, we booked again for next year!! The hotel and, especially the staff, were just lovely. The views are amazing, we loved the terrace area for drinks and food (Kristina, the seafood pasta was to die for!), beds were comfortable, everything was clean and sparkled. (I watched as they swept little fallen leaves off the gravel in the drive!!!). What was so perfect as well was that it's away from the hustle and bustle of the port, but because they have a fantastic shuttle service, you never felt too far away from all the bars and restaurants. Do Poseidon!!! Great day out on the boat, swimming in turquoise waters in beautiful bays. Can't recommend more highly!!!

It’s not just Symi that’s our “special place” - it’s Niriides. We’ve been coming off and on for years, becoming firm friends with the family who owned it. We were of course worried to hear that it had changed hands a few years ago and it was with some trepidation that we booked again, thinking that it would be impossible to improve on our perfect little spot…||I’m so happy to be proved wrong - it’s better than ever - the grounds have been cleverly landscaped and there’ve been many subtle improvements that allow the character of the place to shine through. ||The biggest revelation was the food. The breakfast has always been a magnificent feast, but previously the evening meal would consist of the owner gamely barbecuing the day’s catch. This time I’m happy to say we sat down to some of the best food we’ve eaten on the island cooked by enthusiastic young chef Katerina.

There’s not many places you go to, that take your breath away, but this is one of them! Yes it’s 3clicks away from the main port, but if you want peace and quiet, to be able to truly relax, then this is it! We simply fell in love with it, and but for decisions beyond our control, we would be there…. Right now. |We’re visiting tomorrow, and will be booking for 2025 then. The owners really have got this right, as they also have with its Sister, IAPETOS, and the resort of Agia Marina. It has become our “go to” Greek Paradise!!

Our wonderful trip to Symi with accommodation at Niriides was better than we ever imagined. ||We were looking for a quieter holiday this time and this place was the best. We received such incredible service from the guys at the accommodation. Everything from recommendations for food and excursions. Always a lovely chat to end the evenings. |We were so happy with everything! The room we stayed in. |The breakfast we got every morning. Towels & umbrella for the beach. |The restaurant and the drinks. |The driver that was avaible every day.|We will definitely come back here and give the best recommendations. Great place for chilling out. Great staff, friendly and accommodating. Wonderful location. Hotel provides free sunbeds and umbrellas for the use of guests at the smallish gravel beach, the water is crystal clear.. The staff work hard at keeping the place clean and spotless,big shout out to the ladies who clean. Daily room tidy up, fresh towels and they are very pleasant.Costa the manager is friendly and engaging, always takes time to have a chat. |The Niriides is situated on a hillside and those with mobility problems may find it taxing. Views from rooms are spectacular. The property is 3 km from Symi walkable in 30 mins,but the hotel provides a bookable taxi(max6persons) for 6 euros pp return,bookable at reception. Breakfast, imo has something for everyone. They have a restaurant which is open to the public, great food prepared by Christina, local ingredients,authentic recipes. Her tomato jam is fantastic,especially on Greek yoghurt!|Sostis and Toni, the other staff are great,so helpful and friendly.Emporios is serene, and in sunrise over the bay in the early morning is amazing.||We came to Symi on a day trip 20 years ago and always said we would come back one day,it is a lot busier than those days, but still has a small but tranquil feel about it. The Niriiides has been the perfect place to experience the Symi kick back and relax vibe.

The location is only a small part of what makes the Niriides wonderful, the staff are its crowning glory. Truly professional yet genuine individuals, always happy to help and chat. Christina the chef is super talented, producing fresh and tasty delights, even for awkward vegetarians! I shall miss her infectious smile and happy attitude! All the staff work so hard with a smile on their face and should make the owner proud to have them! |The accommodation is immaculately clean, traditional Greek architecture combined with modern twists and a perfect view over the bay below. |Symi town is a quick drive by the taxi service the hotel provides for a few euros each way, it is walkable but not really advisable in searing heat! There are multiple restaurants in Symi town in a more lively setting, yet still with a traditional vibe. To be honest the food at the Niriides is so good you’ll struggle to find better! |I have never visited a hotel twice but I will most definitely be back, this place is perfection. |Thank you so much, I miss the Niriides and its staff already!

Staying at the Niriides was idyllic for us. The peace tranquility and beautiful surroundings for relaxing sitting eating and drinking are gorgeous. The breakfast is lovely. The staff are so kind and will do anything to help and make your stay perfect. Christina the chef has an amazing menu that is all home cooked and she is immensely passionate about each dish she prepares. A true asset to the Niriides .
