"A Jaipur Classic Today’s Jaipur buzzes with plenty of modern restaurants serving international cuisine, but that wasn’t always the case—when Niros, which first opened in 1949, started serving Chinese fare in the 1960’s, for example, it was the first place in town to do so. Now, going on its seventh decade, the place is still a favorite for its classic décor, attentive service, and extensive menu, which takes you from northern Indian standbys like chicken tikka masala and veggie curries to dumplings, stir-frys, omelettes, and even mushroom stroganoff, as well as Indo-Chinese items like fried paneer in Sichuan sauce. There are extensive choices for both veg and non-veg diners, while the kids should like the old-school sweets like American Ice Cream Sodas and Knicker Bocker Glory sundaes."

The non-vegetarian dishes are unique in taste and definitely worth the taste but the vegetarian dishes aren't that great. The ambience is very pretty and service is prompt. A little on the pricier side but worth the spend. Would recommend.

This is a very famous and old restaurant of Jaipur. Established in 1949, the place boasts of some solid history. Unfortunately, the food was not that great as per expectations, this is for the vegetarian dishes. Paneer butter was below average. Malai kofta was just ok. Non veg was great, the chicken seekh kabab was amazing and the mutton curry was also good. Service was slow. For this price point, would not recommend.

It’s totally overpriced and doesn’t worth it. Food wasn’t delicious at all, especially butter chicken- it was like tomato chicken. Staff was so sad and not very friendly. And absolutely drunk guests on next table really really scared me. And yes, prices are very high.

Went to 2 restaurants in Jaipur, here and Handi's. I would 10000% recommend Handi's and here are the reasons why Niros did not hit the standard set by Handi's. Mainly due to the price, it was much more expensive here, almost double but the quality was not double. Also they monitored when we came in and were trying to rush us out the second we finished our food. I understand they need to turn tables but it was not even fully packed. The service was really good and we made sure to tip our waiter nicely. For drinks we ordered a 650 ml Kingfisher Ultra and a Sula Sauvignon Blanc (375 ml). For food we ordered Gatta Curry (steamed gram flour dumplings in gravy), Aloo Pyaz (potatoes and onions cooked Rajasthani style), 2 Parathas and 1 Garlic Naan. The paratha and naan was solid, the Gatta Curry and Aloo Pyaz was ok. We did like the Gatta Curry better than the Aloo Pyaz. Lastly we ordered Gulab Jamun which was nice but double the price of Handi's. Overall this restaurant was ok and gets 3 stars.

This place is good. I tried their lal maas and bread which is quite famous here. It was quite decent in taste. I think according to price and food this place is super hyped.

This place was worth the hype. The ambience is great and so is the service. We tried their chicken pulao. The taste was top notch, however the quantity can be increased. Highly recommended place if you are visiting jaipur.

A Must-Visit for Non-Veg Lovers in Jaipur! Niros Restaurant is a gem in Jaipur, especially for non-veg food enthusiasts. The location is excellent, with ample parking space, though we did have to wait for 15 minutes due to its popularity—it’s always bustling with customers! The ambience and vibe were fantastic, setting the perfect mood for a memorable dining experience. Started with chicken monchow soup and it was perfect. We ordered Lal Maas, which was absolutely incredible—tender meat and a flavorful curry that exceeded our expectations. The Seekh Kebab was delicious, and the Chicken Korma was a big hit, even with the kids, as it wasn’t too spicy. We paired it with Garlic Naan and Butter Naan, and every bite was perfection. The service was prompt and attentive, adding to the overall great experience. Be prepared, though—the place is on the pricier side, so it might not suit those on a tight budget. If you’re in Jaipur, this is a must-visit spot for top-notch non-veg delicacies. Highly recommended!
