Nirvana By The Sea

This was our second time staying at Nirvana by the sea (room204) and like the first stay (room 1205) it was an absolute pleasure. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Room was very nice and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our private plunge pool and all the amenities the motel had to offer as well as the utter convenience of the shops and beach right across the road. We will definitely be back! 5⭐️

It is a fantastic location with breathtaking views of the beautiful Kirra Beach. The accommodation is spacious and functional. There are some wonderful restaurants, cafes and hotels just a short stroll away. To be honest, we could not fault our stay at Nirvana. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. I can highly recommend Nirvana

The location was great, the hotel facilities were great and receptionist was always so lovely and welcoming.|We were able to check in early, only to be welcomed by both bedrooms having a major leak which meant drenched carpet flowing under the beds only 3 hours into checking in. We thought how housekeeping could have missed this if our room was serviced prior to our arrival considering being christmas and all rooms were booked out.|Still yet to hear back from management in relation to compensation for our stay, as suffered severely with comfort, stress from ensuring children were safe and having to move between our room and a temporary room over 2 days and not being able to enjoy the relaxation we were seeking. Once we were given the all clear to return to our room on our last day, we were welcomed with all drenched wet carpet with commercial floor fans blasting air to dry all sliding doors opened to allow air flow and excessive noise from the machines in both rooms. The carpet had the wet carpet smell at night and were still drenched. For the hefty price tag we paid for a 3 night stay, it was a little disappointing and whilst we were told no rooms available so could not give us another room on our first night, only to be told the next morning we had to move to another room until our room was fixed. Overall, would recommend although management and communication could improve especially due to seriousness of situations such as ours.

Our room had the most amazing views, was clean, lots of room and the pool, cinema and spa facilities were perfect. We loved our stay and will definitely stay again when we return to the Gold Coast. The location was also perfect.

I recently spent 3 days with my teenage son at Nirvana by the Sea in a two-bed unit with a balcony pool. This was our third time staying at Nirvana. Everything was perfect, the unit was immaculately clean, all the kitchen, bathroom and lounge amenities were excellent, and the pool was a perfect temperature. ||We used the in-house theatre during our stay and my son really enjoyed that, having the whole theatre to himself. The weather for our holiday was poor but it didnt stop us enjoying ourselves at Kirra and the friendly staff at The Nirvana really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. A big shout out to Jaleese (apologies if spelling incorrect) on reception for her kindness, thoughtfulness and professionalism, she really is a credit to The Nirvana and was always willing to go the extra mile. Looking forward to our next trip maybe next year. We have never had a bad experience at The Nirvana.

Stunning apartments, and as they say every room gets a view of the ocean. The cleaners do their job well more than you expect and should receive a pay rise. In person the reception staff are not welcoming. Especially if you complain. We had an incident in the lift on our first day, where my son and I were dropping off the trolleys back to reception. On our way up the lift dropped and jolted twice!!! We told the office. 2 days later, my same 7yo son and husband went to collect dinner and on their way up it happened again once. All of my kids refused to ride on that particular lift for the rest of our trip. The staff in reception didn’t give 2 hoots! I told them to check the camera footage and see what happened. But no. As we checked out, the lady was chatting on her phone. I felt awkward waiting, but she came and said “the keys, that’s all I need thanks” . My daughter and I waited in the lobby and the same lady was on her on the lobby couch and all over the foyer. People walked in, she gave them no acknowledgment. My kids are terrified and personally I would never stay there again. Check out the photo of recent sign sticky-taped to the entry door in the carpark.

Nothing but great things to say about Nirvana by the sea. Our room was great and so was the view. All facilities were well kept. Most of all, the reception staff were exceptional and very accommodating to our special circumstances. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to unwind and have somewhere nice to stay.

The moment we walked in the door and saw the view, that was it! The main bedroom and the marble spa bath all had that view! It was a home and we loved staying there. Close to restaurants, the beach, a short drive to a supermarket and the best beach across the road. Did I mention our own private pool on the rooftop with the view of Kirra? Oh and a BBQ!

Nirvana By The Sea, The Best accommodation in Coolangatta. A brand new building these apartments are on the beach. with a full cinema and guest entertaining area. Its the perfect place to get away for a couple of days or stay a week.
