"Hanazono Resort, part of Niseko United, is known for its wide-open runs like the Stairway to Heaven. The resort's lifts have heated seats and bubble covers, providing comfort and protection from the elements. The runs are barely marked, offering a sense of exploration while skiing. Hanazono also offers snowshoeing and a snow tubing park for off-mountain activities." - Alison Fox Alison Fox Alison Fox is a Travel + Leisure contributor. We had so much fun rafting!! We did not know there was so much to do at Hanazono in summer! Our guide Bhupan was so good and experienced! On our first experience there was a little boy(under 3) with us and Bhupan was careful to make sure the boy and his parents were safe. My husband and I were so impressed we signed up again 2 days later and we were extremely happy to get Bhupan again. This time it was us and my adult son and because there were no little ones on board, he made the experience different and thrilling! Such a wonderful time! Please thank Bhupan and the team again for their wonderful service and care! The photographer was also so professional and helpful! And his pictures are gorgeous! We will definitely be back!

If you’re a first timer in ski or snowboarding, this place is a perfect place to learn. They have a wide track for beginners, an some of easy track up the hill. So you wont get stuck on the bottom of the hill every time. They have international instructor as well, who has so many experiences. They all profesional and friendly as well. To be said, this is the best experience ever!

A Most Breathtaking Exhilarating Experience on the Zipline. Superb Logistics even with overnight blizzard conditions creating fresh JaPow Snow. Heavenly views zipping down over the snow covered trees and the ski area. Easy Approach from our stay at Park Hyatt Niseko. The chairlift to reach the top to start the Zipline was super luxury with heated leather seats and a covered hood to protect from the elements while viewing the spectacular snow surroundings. We were a couple and they arranged for a side by side Zipline experience - very unique. The Adventure staff is polite, friendly and very competent. All in All, A standout topnotch experience in our whole ski trip to Niseko. Not to be missed.

Great slopes for beginners and families. One of the widest area for learners in the area, compared to Hirafu and Annapuri. Has a long moving travelator (abt 100m) for the beginners. It gives an option for those wanting to learn skiing/snowboarding with friendly slopes and those that just wanna have fun tubing. There are at least 2 tube runs which are 100m long as well. Good family fun. Best of all, its all in one area, where you can see your kids with a watchful eye. Food is great as well with alot of variety and ample sitting place right next to the ski field. I was there at peak season and could still find seats, although it was a little diffifcult. (Compared to the Grand Hirafu, where we stood and ate) Highly Recommended if you are looking for a more chill and relaxing resort. The resort is also connected to the ski park, which makes it convenient for a ski in ski out experience.

Very huge gondola. Nicely managed ski centre with rentals, locker room and changing room. The restaurant was cozy and I love the air jet. Nice view.

The staff took us for the tour is super friendly with lot of smile. Apart from the tour itself is fun, the guide took great pictures and being patient waiting us to taking photos all along.

Probably has the best food options out of the 4 ski resorts - they even have crab ramen. The ski area is relatively small, with two main lifts and mostly red runs.

It’s looks nice , new area. It’s however really busy and a bottle neck, there is only one lift out of this resort base; otherwise you are stuck. So today … that one lift which is a high tech six seater chair , looks new; doesn’t actually function reliably. Been stuck in this resort for over 4 hours with this chair lift malfunctioning. There is an excruciating long line for the buses back out of the resort , some people waiting over an hour . A contingency plan was not really in place. A wasted day skiing , very disappointed.

Yelp
Winter here is amazing. The Niseko Hanazoo resort is just filled with snow and powder all along the area. It was our first time being in the Niseko area and it for sure will not be our last time! Almost everywhere that we were here it was snowing and being so beautiful. If you like winter activities I think this is a great place to learn to ski or snowboard. They have instructors that you can reserve for the amount of time you want to practice. Overall it was a fun experience and I would recommend it to anyone who loves winter activities.
